I ordered a fish ceviche tostada and a shrimp taco, they brought me a «shrimp» ceviche tostada that tasted like it was sitting in the fridge for 2 days and the tortilla from the taco was cold. In general I did not enjoy the food. I was very disappointed I love going to their locations in Tijuana.

We grabbed lunch here on a whim while we visited from Sacramento. Best fish tacos I have ever had!!! And the asada tacos are to die for too! Huge portions, and unbeatable prices!

Best fish tacos in cv, full of flavor, huge fish fillets, price is excellent, and costumer is great ;) love this place better than rubios, el pescador and others near by i wish they had chairs though.

This is the spot!!! Prietos dont got caca on these 4 wheels of amazement!!! I was so pleased with everything. The food, space and cant beat them prices tho!!! The fish tacos are huge and the quality is perfection. Their only $ 1.25 and also ate the toatada de ceviche camaron. Also. not expensive. $ 2.75 i believe. Lots of parking space Nd not hard to find. Right in front of the agave grill. THANK YOU FOR HAVING TABLES THEY AINT A MILE HIGH. i was actually able to eat comfortably standing up. For the kids theres near by rocks and grass but keep an eye out for the traffic nearby. Id rather come here than Prietos. Food is bomb. Customer service rocks. 5 stars keep it up ;)

This was the first time I did go there, found them over on H Street near the Army/​Navy recruiting station.
Size for cost wasn’t bad — $ 1.25 for fish tacos.
The fish wasn’t a large piece & it seemed like it was more batter than fish when I had ordered 6 tacos from there. The fish was moist but it might just be because the batter was under cooked when I tried it out.
The service wasn’t bad… for a food truck, but that’s not really saying much is it?

First off… very fresh seafood! We all know when eating off a lunch truck one needs to be careful! I ordered the tostada especial and shrimp tacos. The taco was overfilling with nicely breaded pieces of shrimp. The tostada especial is a treat! It has shrimp-​octopus — avocado– purple onion — cilantro — scallops — oysters –cucumber –tomatoes –limon– chile Serrano –raw chopped up shrimp — salt — pepper — seriously! It’s enough for two people and about 4 tostadas and at only $ 8 it’s worth every penny!!! I rated this place a 4 star only because there are no chairs only tables so I say take it to go or prepare to stand! But such good food should not be eaten standing!!!

The fish and shrimp tacos are heavenly. I also recommend their marlin taco and Jr Special Tostada. Avoid the fish burrito though, there is a dramatic lack of sauce to make up for the crispiness of the fish. Service was fast, food was cheap, but good cheap.

Mad good tacos for the money. Super fresh and one of the best fish and shrimp tacos. I don’t know what the other low ratings are about but this place deserves 5 stars. The fish and shrimp are cooked properly and it’s only 1.50 and 2.00 respectively. This place deserves a try.

This place is the best. In my opinion and my husband’s this is the best fish taco in the south bay they are huge and equivalent to two tacos somewhere else. The ceviche y? tostadas are huge. Our family of three eats for $ 10. We’re thinking of bringung our own little folding table next time or you can head out half a mile and picnic at j street marina.

Ordered la tostada loca and was impressed with the 2 freshly sliced pieces of oysters served in the ceviche.
I was not feeling the frozen/​freezer bag of precooked shrimp though. =/​
Fish tacos have been good so has their marlin.
I mainly swing by this particular mariscos truck primarily because of the strong customer service. They have always made sure to offer me a consome or anything else I request. It’s also cool the jefe working there calls me by Guero.

I went here as the place I usually go to for Mariscos was closed that day. It was about 3pm and not many people so I order fish tacos but they had no fish :(I got 1 shrimp taco and 1 shrimp ceviche tostada. The taco was good but a little overpriced, the shrimp ceviche tostada was very small as far as portions go and mostly cucumber, tomato and onion.
I might come back for tacos at some point but this place needs to step their game up as their competition has them beat so far.

Im sorry but this place only deserves one star & only because my food came out literally in 2 minutes. Maybe thats a bad thing! I ordered a shrimp and octopus ceviche & my dad order a governador and my cousin fish tacos, i tried each of everything and neither was satisfying, the consume is free but wasnt even that hot and kinda bland, i love trying to places which os why i stopped by so it was my first & last time coming here

This food truck serves up legit fish tacos for a supa dupa affordable price. The only draw back is the parking. The truck is located on the corner of J street and Broadway next to a tire shop and hardware/​tool store. The service was fast and friendly and the most important to me (ENGLISH friendly).
My favorites include, well I tried them all and they are all my favorites. This place is soo soo good you will never have another reason to walk into one of Ralph Rubio’s establishments, that is of course if you are escaping the South Bay heat. Matter of fact every time I go by the Chula Vista Center I am tempted to rally everyone in Rubios to follow me to get some real Mexican coastal cuisine. Anyways I digress…
Try this spot out and TRUST you will not regret it.
