One of the bartenders is great, but the manager gets in their business… they tend to lose focus of ordering drinks

This review is for my experience on 12÷5÷15. Marcie the hostess is not included in this review, she was the BEST ever! She totally deserved the $ 10 tip that I gave her.
However, as far as the rest of our experience went… BOOOO!!!
We arrived at 10pm with our friends and we all went straight to the bar. We all ordered our drinks and the bartenders helped a few people in our group find a drink that would work for them.great.
I indicated that I was paying for my drink and 2 other people in our party, for the first round. First round for 1 Jameson on the rocks, and 2 well drinks was $ 13, which was really good. Then, we moved on to the dance floor sitting area. We danced all night and in total (between 2 of us on the tab) ordered 4 more drinks after the initial $ 13 first round.
DJ was pretty cool. He had some technical issues with the sound system but they seemed to get that resolved very shortly. He had really good music too, all the Trap Music, West Coast Rap, Hip Hop and all good stuff.
At 12:45am it was time for us to get going so I asked for our tab to cash out. The bill was $ 42 and I almost crapped my pants. I looked at the bartender and she had that ‘look’ like, «yeah I think that you are too drunk to notice that I over charged you lady, sign the receipt.» I tipped her $ 3 to make it an even $ 45 and then walked over to my actual server/​hostess, Marci, and gave her $ 10 tip.
What I think happened was that the bartender charged their friends’ drinks on my tab because they were up there hanging out the whole time with them. She thought that because I had had 3 scotch whiskeys all night that I was wasted and would not notice the overcharge. Guess what, you were dealing with a PROFESSIONAL and I don’t cloud judgement at clubs/​lounges.

It’s okay because I will never ever start a tab here again.

Best Night Club in South San Diego. Classy, Free parking, GREAT/​FAIRLY priced Drinks and COMEDY NIGHT on the 4^th Friday of the month! DOPE! Love you Spin City!!!

I went only once which was last Friday and it was open Mike night for comedians I guess. But my advise, don’t go on Fridays just Saturdays. The comedians were weak as shit to the point where I don’t think anyone really cared if they were there or not. The only good thing about this place so far are the bartenders who are pretty cute looking.

I give it 3 stars just for the pool tables which is the only reason that kept me here. The place is for the workers to chill and lay low

Spin City has been put on the list of RESTRICTED clubs for Naval Personal. THREATS to sailors caused this. DO NOT GO TO SPIN CITY

Great for football. Have not been in any other time. Sundays, nice staff and friendly patrons. They even have some sort of food going on on Sundays.

The club itself is nice. The girls that work and dance look great. However, I will say it reminds of Korea and the «buy me drinky girls». They work all males to get tips and as many drinks as possible while working. So don’t be surprised when you buy a worker a drink then they ignore you.

Went last night. No air conditioning. $ 10.00 minumum on any plastic (VisaMC –and illegal to minimum charge or add a fee). The Alcohol was watered down. Asked for a Margarita and seriously, was served in a dirty, plastic Brandy Sifter with a Cherry; tasted horrible. No food. The DJ only played music about how women are bitches and that women can suck a dick. Will never set foot in there again. A waste of my money.

RATCHETS with a mix of Asian creepy dads. Stayed for 5 minutes, tops. And that’s ALL folks!

HAHA. Never agaaaaaaainn. Was not my cup of anything. I don’t think a cup of vodka on the rocks could get me to go back there.
Dj was good for the first 30 minutes and then after that it kept going downhill from there.
The girl go go dancers weren’t bad. But I felt they kept doing the same dance over and over. I guess that was the best they could do for the little boxes they were given to work with.
Like they say «You can’t knock it, if you haven’t tried it». All I can say is «BEEN THERE DID THAT.»

I LOVE THIS PLACE! the lounge is very big. there are two pool tables ($ 0.75/game, i think), lots of seating around the bar, lots of seating around the dance floor, a huge dance floor and boxes for the gogo dancers.
all the bartenders are really sweet and attentive. they remember the regulars’ favorite drinks and make sure that you’re never without your drink (of course they ask before serving you, unlike getting hustled at other places). they will change out your drink order if it’s not done correctly and without an attitude.
drinks are on the cheap side ($ 2 shots, $ 3 domestic beer, $ 4 imported beer, $ 4 wells, $ 6 wines, $ 7 – 9 top shelf) compared to downtown san diego. i love their west coast IPA! there are also additional specials on sunday night ($ 2 wells). i don’t remember how many TVs there were, but definitely in the double digits. wahoo for football sunday!
the gogo dancers are so much fun to watch! they love to dance hiphop and keep the energy up all night long. i’ve never seen any other ones that have nearly as much energy as they do.
the regulars are also very nice and friendly. they’re not the type to get up in your space if you sit in their «normal» spot. they converse a lot with the bartenders and keep a good relationship with them.

Great bar! Coldest beer around, plenty of TVs to watch all your favorite sports, and some great looking bartenders, Wow! The go-​go girls on fri-​sat nights are really good, like energizer bunnys. The place seldom has a cover charge, the security team has things well taken care of, and the DJs are some of the best. A great place to go in the southbay.

I’m big about professionalism. The bar tenders were dressed like hookers and they only hook you up if you know someone. It was a biker bar and there were a lot of people that were low class style. I got hit on by a guy that wanted me to have a threesome with a prostitute! Wowzers! I’m never coming here again.

Who0o0o0o0 i LOVE this place! Great music, strong drinks, fun gogo dancers and nice door guys.
I am totally FIRM on not dancing with drunk annoying college kids to dubstep remixes of my favorite west coast classics! Needless to say I dont go downtown much… so Ive discovered sweet spots $ 5 taxi ride from my house and Spin City is one of those sweet spots! Saturday nights have proved to be the best nights for me because its OLD SKOOL NIGHT! 90’s hip hop and r&b… ahhh nothing better then that! i will literally be on the dance floor non stop on a Saturday night no doubt! Even brought a few of my friends from OB down (who usually take in the Fluxx like clubs in DT) and they had a blast!!! The crowd is a nice mix of old and young and all races. No cost to get in, reasonable drinks and super nice bartenders! HIGHLY recommend this place if you wanna have a fun saturday night!

I just go there for the best Go Go crew in San Diego. The staff is pleasent, the DJs are really good. Good place to hang out.

Good music, cute bartenders, cheap drinks!
