Expensive! Good, but pricey for what you get. They offer thick, soft, kettle-boiled bagels in many flavors, from onion to Asiago cheese(my favorite) as well as breakfast fare, bagel lunch sandwiches & a variety of salads. Their line of cream cheeses & some cookies and dessert bars are always on hand too. If you get anything beyond a breakfast bagel with cream cheese, expect to put out a wad of cash. But their availability of flavors both in bagels & cream cheeses is extensive & the bagels are huge. Everything tastes delicious, though the meat is a bit skimpy on lunch sandwiches. Staff is always friendly too & if you’re going to eat in, this location has plenty of space. It can get crowded since there’s a Starbuck’s next door & the two spots create traffic for each other.

I’ve been to this location a number of times. I order the same thing, every time, whole grain bagel toasted dark with guacamole. As the portion of guac is usually minimal, on this visit I requested a double portion. I was charged for a double portion. I received the regular portion. Now I wouldn’t normally post this on Unilocal, except for the fact when I contacted Brueggers directly, the store manager called me back to tell me I was wrong, and how ignorant I must be not to recognize they gave me double portion. Won’t be back

This is a great location and the bagels are delicious. If you go over on a Wednesday, you can get the baker’s dozen bagels with 2 cream cheese flavors for $ 11.99 so that’s the day I’d recommend going!

Location was dirty and unkempt. No napkins out. All tables dirty. Entrance door was filthy. Coffee spills all over condiment counter. Employees talking and drinking in the back instead of cleaning and interacting with guests.

Service was fast and what I ordered. I got the new chorizo jack bagel sandwich. It was actually a little better than I expected, little on the greasy side though. Definitely not a healthy option.

Brueggers is great and I had the new Riviera breakfast sandwich but your service here is absolutely terrible! You need to get an adult behind the counter on Saturday mornings.

Let’s start off by me first stating that I love Brueggers. They menu is the same no matter which location you visit. The food and coffee is always great. What is bringing my review down is the service. I live in Madeira and have visited this location many times over the past 3 – 4 years. Something has been off lately. It seems that the high school kids they have working behind the counter either(1.) Don’t care or(2.) Are an entire new staff. Hopefully some changes are made soon! I will still visit to get my Brueggers fix, but the bad service, rude attitudes, and general lack of caring needs to go!

This Brueggers has a great location right in the heart of downtown Maderia! This location is a slight bit smaller than other Brueggers that I have been to but it seems to have a cozier feeling to it because of that, which I like a lot. The employees are very friendly here too!

I had never been to the Madeira Bruegger’s until I started working in Mariemont. Now I’m the proud [Foursquare] Mayor of the place and frequent it quite often. Bruegger’s Bagels is super delicious. For lunch I recently discovered their hot paninis(which are ah-mazing) as well as a bagel with cream cheese adorned with vegetables(another really great, healthy choice). Another good thing is that they serve breakfast sandwiches the entire time they are open if you’re feeling in the mood for breakfast for lunch. For breakfast I typically order an Asiago bagel toasted with egg and cheese, and they have a ton of other breakfast sandwich options as well. Additionally, most of the workers that I’ve come into contact with have been quick and very, very friendly. Bruegger’s doesn’t have a great atmosphere and I wish there was more comfortable seating, especially since I frequently get freelance work done while I’m eating lunch. Plus the music is pretty bleak(think Skinemax). As far as hours go, most stores aren’t typically open past 5 or 6pm. Aside from these minor complaints(which are very minor compared to the delicious food and outstanding service), I really love this place.

I love this Brueggers. Always friendly folks behind the counter, and they have REALLY good hot chocolate here! Also on St. Patty’s day they have green bagels(but doesn’t everywhere). Convenient location in Madeira next to a Starbucks! Not too much seating inside but most people take their bagels to go so it’s not a big deal. If I lived close enough I would walk here every Saturday morning to have a coffee and bagel and sit around.
