This place caters too! I have to give them five stars, because not only was the food wonderful, but they really helped us out. For work, I was hosting a group of 15 people and the original caterer I had lined up backed out only a few hours from dinner time. I called Victory Bakery, found out that they cater, and they helped me build a menu with a variety of options to serve to my guests. The food showed up on time, was very reasonably priced, and tasted delicious. They also included some of their fresh baked cookies as a thank you and they were amazing as well. 15 coders are now sitting around the table working with full bellies and smiles on their faces as I write this.

Founds this great place tucked away in a shopping plaza near on Ohio 42 North of Sharonville. This is my go-to Middle Eastern place now. The food was very good, the rice was especially tender, and lamb was done just right, not too dry. There are multiple kinds of desserts, from Baklava to Cannoli. The owner was also friendly, They only have indoor seating for about ten, so I hope then can expand when it’s time.

I have so many good things to say about this place, I don’t know where to start. First of all, it’s a little gem tucked away in Sharonville with authentic desserts and Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine. I have tried just about everything on their menu, and I love all of it. I am picky about my baba ghanoush, and this is the only place in Cincinnati, so far(next to Pasha’s in Dayton), that I’ve adored their baba ghanoush. Their shawarma is addicting, and taboui is excellent. Stuffed grape leaves are also amazing! Like I said, not a single thing I haven’t enjoyed from this place so far. Their desserts are just awesome, all of them! Try this place out, I really recommend it for those who like authentic Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food!

The food here sorry to say sucks !!! Asked for a lamb kabob chicken shawarma and chicken tawwaok… the meat gave me a feel tht they were still alive … They were so raw tasteless and rubbery that the most carnivorous teeth of mine could not dig into it … Had to throw all the food in the trash bin … The lamb was cut into huge chunks and were uncooked… which gave a yucky feel to it … I felt I would throw up… Had asked for some spicy sauce in the durum which instead was too tangy … Could not relish even a bit…

I was fortunate to accidentally stumble into this place. I tried the 3 types of Bakalava. My god, here one of the best I have had so far. I have been cherishing the Bakalava for many many years now and really loved the cashew, pistachio and Walnut Bakalava. It’s a halal place and they had a lot of Mediterranean items like kabobs and shawarma. I was unfortunate to not try them but I promise that I will come back to this place again. I did miss the knafa too, it was looking delicious but some one had ordered the whole tray. Overall an awesome little café…

Some colleagues and I stopped in today — first time for lost of us and it will likely return to the lunch rotation. If you have more than 6 people, don’t count on eating in… there are only three tables with about 10 seats available. Upon entering, you are greeted with a wide variety of pastries, cakes and baklava which does nothing but make dessert mandatory! The food was solid, but took some time to prep, so if you are in a hurry you might want to call ahead. The owner was very nice and accommodating for us which helped make the day pleasant.

What Cincinnati has lacked in the Asian and Mexican contingents of ethnic cuisine, it has made up in spades with its Middle Eastern offerings. Victory Bakery just upped the ante. Tucked away in Westchester, it’s quite a drive from Clifton but as a true foodie, a 30 minute drive for good food is par for the course. I’ve always been fairly wary of strip mall restaurants, but Victory Bakery really blew away my preconceived notions of what the burbs of Cincinnati might have to offer. You haven’t read it wrong either. The name of the place is indeed Victory Bakery and yes, I’m reviewing the food I got there. The place isn’t really designed to be a restaurant. There are three tables surrounded by tantalizing displays of myriad cakes and baklava: it truly is a test of self-control for dessert fanatics. My boyfriend and I ordered the kafta kabob and lamb kabob platters. This comes with lots of rice, a grilled tomato, a Mediterranean salad made with chopped romaine and tomatoes in a citrus(I think lemon) and olive oil vinaigrette sprinkled with sumac, and the smoothest, creamiest hummus that you can probably drink, or you know dunk the copious amount of complementary pita bread in, like normal people. The kafta is hands down the best thing we had. The beef was perfectly seasoned and still juicy from the grill. The lamb kabob was juicy but it was on the gamey side so it paled in comparison. The rest of the menu definitely deserves another trip so I’m looking forward to trying the falafel and chicken sandwiches next time. Now for dessert. Haha, did you think I was one of those people with self-control? That’s a negative. My friends and I shared an order of kanafe which is a middle eastern dessert featuring broiled/baked noodle threads over a base of a stringy, mozzarella-like cheese drizzled with a simple syrup-like thing for a sugary finish. It honestly wasn’t my favorite because the cheese was just a lot to handle(and I love cheese!). It came in a thick block and didn’t melt much. I may enjoy its Egyptian counterpart a little more(same noodles and simple syrup without the cheese). I also tried the chocolate with pistachio Swiss roll cakes staring me in the face. Unfortunately, it was a little soggy. I’d give the baklava a try on my next visit but I may have to rule out sweets from here. However, they do sell cakes and I know my classmates get their sweets catered from here for parties their families host. If made to order, I’m sure the sweets are a different story altogether.

This is a middle eastern gem in the Cincinnati area. I cannot believe I haven’t checked this place out before this past month. My family goes here about 2 or 3 times a week. I honestly give their food/grill about 4 stars and their bakery 5 stars. But combined with their great customer service, overall, this little place is definitely closer to a perfect 5 stars. Their lamb shish kabob is delicious and just melts in your mouth. The chicken and beef were a bit tougher than what I would’ve liked. The fries are so good and will be the reason I won’t be meeting my goal of losing 5 lbs anytime soon. But the main reason I rave about this place is for their dessert. Their pistachio chocolate cake, cream horn, cookies with apricot jam… Holy moly mother of pearls. Amazing. I love how it’s not overly sweet! And we all know how hard it is to avoid dessert overwhelmingly infused with sugar in this country. You must go to at least try their baked goods!

Original review below… i stopped in to grab a desert to take to my mom, the guy suggested the Baklava. I don’t really like baklava, it’s always soaked in honey and just doesn’t do it for me. I took him up on t he offer, and the Baklava was AMAZING! get desert here, but don’t bother with the food. upgraded to 4 stars — — — — — — - I stopped in and grabbed a gyro… it was pretty meh. pre sliced meat and not much of it. the veggies on it were fresh though, so that’s a bonus. overall a 2 star gyro. The baked goods looked pretty fantastic, that’s why they’re getting 3 stars. I won’t be back for lunch, but maybe for sweets

I was also blown away. Husband and I have stopped eating at chains, always looking for locally owned, freshly sourced places and this is a gem! As others said, there are only three tables, it’s mostly carry-out and bakery. For $ 6.95 I got the lamb kabob ‘feast’ which includes marinated lamb cubes, Mediterranean salad, fragrant rice, hummus and pita. More food than I could eat and can’t wait to go back. Husband had the gyro and fries. Everything tasted fresh, the lamb was gorgeously grilled, great flavors, great price. Can’t wait to try the other kabobs and sides. This is definitely our new go-to carry-out dinner place.

A coworker took me here for lunch today and I was blown away by how good the food and the service was. There were only three tables there as it is mainly a carryout business and bakery, but the food there was delicious. They have several different types of kabobs, sandwiches, and other side items that you would expect at a Mediterranean restaurant including: hummus, baba-ganouj, falafel, and Greek salads. The owner was very hospitable and spent time talking to us and making sure that everything about the food and experience was great, and I will definitely be going back again to try out some more of their options.

The kebabs/shish/kofta/falafel are DIVINE here. I can’t say enough good things. It tastes amazing. Flavorful, spicy, delicious. And not a bad price. Try the Feast for 2 — it’ll feed 3, maybe 4 if you added some sides. HUGE!
