On two separate visits through the Drive-Thru tried to order the TV ad menu special«Family Meal» with a choice of 3 different salads, I was told both times the family salad was NOT included, as I am staring at the freaking ad posted on the Drive-Thru, wtf are you guys retarded or just a cheap owner? Never have I experienced such an inconsistent level of poor service and failed expectations, for a franchise I would expect better, two other local grilled chicken places have opened in our area, not sure I will ever be back.

My go-to food here is simple. I come for the chicken. Other than a side of corn and/or cole slaw, the chicken is it. Straight up chicken. Just the chicken. Not a burrito. Chicken only. Take-out. Their fire grilled chicken is cooked through and moist. Two of us will share the half-chicken combo. Based on what we choose, I don’t consider this meal to be fast food. Yes, I ordered and receive quickly(aka fast) but I don’t question it like I would a deep fried chicken patty. It’s not a new location so the inside does show some wear. I’ve not had a bad experience with service. Greenback can be fairly busy during commute hours during the week so getting in and out of the cramped parking lot can be challenging, but not impossible. There is a drive-thru window at this location.

I always love coming to this location, food is always fresh and delishes. The staff are friendly and helpful. Place is always clean. I love the deluxe avocado bowl with chicken. I sometimes get with as shrimp. Highly recommend this location.

I usually enjoy this location, however lately the customer service has been sub par and today I asked for a mango iced tea with my combo… I got home to sip what was obviously a coke. I cannot stand soda, so I gave it to my husband. Not sure how I got a soda instead of iced tea since mango iced tea doesn’t sound anything like coke… but ok. At that point, I was so hungry I didn’t feel like going back.

Not that anyone cares but I worked a 12 hour day, thought I would grab something quick. Four cars we’re in the drive through at 8:30. Ordered 4 items and did not get out of there until 8:50. There is nothing fast about a 20 min wait in a drive through. Then after I already paid they did not have what I ordered and I had to substitute something else. On top of that I ordered a enchiladas and got a chicken breast and when I got home I realized one of the items I orders was missing. Absolutely Horrible!

I find myself a bit disappointed, place is a little messy and salsa bar is running on empty and is pretty messy. Food took a while to get. I usually go to the EPL off Auburn Blvrd.

I check the menu board, check the ingredients and make sure there is no onions listed. I ask the cashier just to make sure. She asks a coworker, he says no, she says no. I order my food. sit down and start to eat it. I guess they forgot that pico de gallo has onions in it. I try to pick it out but it’s too much. Couldn’t even enjoy the little that I could eat. $ 6 burrito in the trash. They should know exactly what goes in their burritos. So disappointing.

A great fast casual restaurant that is figure friendly! I could make a meal from the salsa bar alone! The manager at this location is a really friendly guy. I always seem to get pretty good coupons for this place in the mail and while I usually throw out coupons for fast food. I usually save the ones for EPL because the chicken is thee . I would recommend the family meals. They come with your choice of numerous pieces of chicken, either breasts or legs and thighs. 2 sides such as; corn, rice, beans ect. Also corn or flour tortillas and a salad to share. They even include churros for dessert. Starting at only $ 20. WHAT! You use that coupon as well and you’ve got quite a deal. Drive through is a plus with crabby kids.

I love Pollo Loco generally. Good chicken and sides. But we had a very bad experience with their catering. We ordered food for 80 people a week early. When we tried to confirm with them we were put on hold for 15 minutes, we hung up. We tried again and got put on hold for 5 minutes. We asked to talk to the catering manager and they said they would call us. They didn’t. An hour before our order was to arrive we called to confirm and they said they had no record of our order. They said they could deliver by 2:45, it was 3:30. The order was undersized and they were rude to us when we questioned them. If we could give them no stars we would. So by all means eat in but do not cater with these folks. They offered a refund of $ 25 but they said over the phone it would be 25%. We do this 3 times a year. Needless to say we will find another source for catering.

The cashier made a mistake and gave me the wrong order to go. I called the manager Jose and they treated us royal! Took our receipt and replace the order, they apologize and I think that is great consumer service!!! they can make mistakes but the way the fix them is what counts!

A review long over due. Been going to this place for a while now and LOVE it. Other locations are not as good. The food is always fresh and delicious. The portion size is great. They give you plenty of chicken/shrimp for your $. Friendly staff as well. Keep it up!

This place is good I like their burritos, churros, fries, tacos, and the salad menu they are my favorite. The thing I don’t like is that they took off the flan.

I love EPL! Everything is always hot, delicious & amazing! Except for the new enchiladas. Gross. The cheese doesn’t melt NOMATTERWHAT. The staff is always friendly & helpful. They reheated our enchiladas for us but the cheese still did not melt. I heated them up at home & the cheese STILL did not melt. I’m very familiar with Mexican cheeses, I know that they all melt. The only cheese I’ve ever used that didn’t melt was vegan cheese. EPL, please get rid of the enchiladas or switch to a real cheese!

We’ve been to this EPL a few times now and have gotten great service each time. The chicken is always moist and juicy with great seasoning. The rice has been dry the times we have gotten it, but the pinto beans are very good.

I must admit that I am relatively new to El Pollo Loco. And rarely do I eat fast food. Coworker recently used EPL to cater a work lunch and I tried the chicken salad. and it was good! So I braved the drive thru at this location after a long day of work when I didnt want to even think about cooking and was pleasantly surprised to find a speedy drive thru, friendly employees that were able to answer my questions, and a health conscious menu board that posted the calorie count and accurate photos of the food. So far I have tried the chicken tostada salad with creamy cilantro dressing(yum!) and the mango chicken tostada. Both were really good, tasted fresh, and served by more of these nice employees(seriously there must be something in the water cooler here because I get a new friendly face each time I roll through this drive thru and they continue to thank me for stopping by— who does that!!! Lol) I’m glad to have found a healthy alternative that is fast when I really dont want to cook and chicken that tastes like it just came off the grill but won’t give me food poisoning for being undercooked(shame on you Chipotle). And that creamy cilantro dressing…

I’ve been here a few times in the past months. This time I decided to try the new Baja Shrimp Tacos. They were not as good as I had hoped. The grilled chicken is always amazing! I will continue to come back for that on a regular basis. As far as the Baja Shrimp Tacos go, there were only three shrimp in each taco, as compared to what looks like four in their pictures, plus triple the avocado, which luckily, I love! I felt they were just so-so. I won’t order them again. The cashier was extra sweet and friendly… The crowd that afternoon was surprisingly older in age… lol My table was freshly cleaned, even though they were quite busy. I will continue to be a regular!

$ 5 two piece combo, the sign reads. OK, I say! EPL is one of those meals I can always eat. I mean, who doesn’t like flame grilled chicken with tortillas? Ordering at the counter was a snap. Out of small drink cups? No problem, they just subbed a large. Found a table, got drinks and after about five minutes, the food was ready. Can I get some butter for the tortillas? ‘Sorry, we are all out!’ WTF??? Ohhhhhh Noooo… That’s definitely minus one star for that gaffe… Several dry tortillas later all was good with a full belly of delicious chicken. I’m sure the butter will be arriving anytime…

The guy at the drive through was so friendly, it ranks as my best fast food customer service experience EVER. First off, El Pollo Loco is doing a sauce again. This time the sauce is Tropical Habanero. If you like sweet/spicy sauces then this is the BOMBAYSON!!! They have tons of burritos(with fresh grilled chicken, and steak I believe) that’s grilled there. It’s no suspect grilling like KFC does. This is done in an actual grill in plain sight. Their menu has so many delicious sounding items, I asked the drive thru guy to hold. He politely invited me to look at it as long as I wanted. When I asked him about specials, he read off a 10 piece for 12 bucks with tortillas. I asked for half spicy and half not(for more delicate palates) and some flour tortillas. The dude warned me that the habanero sauce was hot. I responded«okay» with an obvious tone of «duh» in my voice. Apparently he picked up on this, and told me people have complained it was too spicy. For you spicy food wusses out there, this sauce is NOT for you. Don’t ruin it for the rest of us by complaining it out of existence, will ya? Anyway I told the guy how I longed for the days of the tequila lime sauce they had. He told me they also previously had orange and buffalo chicken sauce as well. As he prepared my order, he told me how much he loved the product with a longing look in his eye. I knew it wasn’t a pitch, this man loved chicken. For that brief second, we shared a chicken loving moment. I went home and the bite of the habanero sauce plus the sweet… ITWASPUREWIN!!! Not only is El Pollo Loco delicious, but I now refuse to go to any other location. Dude at the drive thru, you created a fan for your store for life!!! Keep the chicken love, homie!
