Well the 3 Star rating is for the place being so expensive a chicken bowl no veggies and a drink for almost $ 10. Chicken and white rice shouldn’t be that expensive. They should have $ 5 chicken bowls. I bet business would be great and we will all benefit

The place is clean, staff is friendly, but it seems they do not know how to cook rice properly.

This place is great, clean and great food. Bald guy at the front and the lady as well are extremely quick and pleasant. Some of these reviews though are pathetic. $ 7.50 was the«biggest waste of money ever» and«they cooked the chicken days prior» yeah that’s why there’s a Mexican guy sweating his ass all day everyday over the grill. He’s apparently cooking chicken weeks in advance. Some of you people need to get a grip on life. You write hundreds of reviews? Get a hobby you clowns.

Great food for the price. You get nice bite sizes of chicken and beef. Mix ½ magic sauce and ½ green hot sauce for the ultimate condiment.

Got here about noon on a Friday – lunchtime. The service was quick. The food is fresh and delicious. It’s very clean too. This has become my favorite Flame Broiler.

I went during lunch so it was obviously busy. However, two people got their orders after me. I thought maybe it was because I ordered brown rice. After my bowl was ready it sat there for awhile because the cashier was helping a customer that was taking a long time. Once I got in my car and opened my bowl I noticed they gave me white rice. I looked at my receipt and sure enough she didn’t mark brown rice. I didn’t bother going back in because they were busy and I don’t want any special sauce in my food. The food tasted ok but they were skimpy on he amount of meat in my bowl. I think I’ll stick with Waba Grill.

It’s a quick pace environment, of getting a healthy chicken or beer bowl… I love the selections and the choices. I usually eat here for lunch, and it takes less than 10 minutes for them to cook and prepare everything. Of course, this depends solely on the amount of foot traffic. Although, I think this particular establishment could use more seating arrangements, the food is what people are coming for and not to sit down.

Would not recommend this place at all. The chicken was super dry as if it had been cooked several days prior and then reheated. The sauce was salty and we were only given a couple of pieces of green onions.

The brown rice was not cooked properly. I had a major stomach ache and went toostie several times in the bathroom. These people don’t know how to cook rice properly. The chicken was okay. Kind of dry. The sauce was okay as well. I don’t recommend this location. It’s a hit or miss. I rather get my chicken bowl at Yoshinoya.

My bowl was mediocre, it was barely half filled. I suppose that’s okay because I wasn’t very hungry, but the main issue was with their soft drinks. DON’T DRINKTHEM! I selected sprite and after a few minutes the inside of my cup was a light shade of grey, it appeared as if grey bubbles or flakes formed on the bottom of the cup and when I finished eating and dumped it out, that last teeny bit of drink that stays in the cup was solid black. I don’t know if it was the sprite or the cup or the combination of them both but it definitely was not normal. I didn’t go here often but now I’m never going back.

The place was clean and the staff was very nice. I love the little patio they have outside where you can just enjoy your food outside during your lunch.

I run in here when the wifey wins the food argument because I want Yoshinoya, so I acquiesce because I guess it’s a healthier version. Usually get the teriyaki bowls(with brown rice) and we usually get a side of veggies; but this place can get rather expensive. Said items totaled $ 11…see why I would rather go to Yoshinoya? =P Same taste as any other Flame Broiler I’ve had, so nothing out of the ordinary there. Always get the Magic Sauce, and mix it up with the hot sauce and you have a manifique mix. Servers here are always very polite and have not yet messed up our order. Parking is pretty open, so no problem there.

The day I discovered Flame Broiler is hereby known on my calendar as «Hallelujah Day». Because all of the yum, always. So if you’re watching your calories, I definitely recommend coming here. Not only is the mini bowl just enough to tide you over, but you can get it in a variety of combinations. My favorite combination is the half-and-half. It’s a chicken and beef many bowl with rice, either brown or white. The meat taste fantastic-I don’t know how the season it, but it’s absolutely delicious. It’s great with the magic sauce and hot sauce too! This particular location is extremely clean and the service is super fast! No complaints here! Love this healthy little lunch on the go!

I wish I could leave 0 stars Still the worst flame brolier in San Gabriel valley. They take no pride in there food and take the cheapest way possible. Why is the chicken so dark? Why doesn’t the broccoli taste like broccoli? It has a very weird taste Why does the magic sauce have a after taste? The soda is very watered down. Be careful when putting a lid on because they but the cheapest lids ever made. It spilled in my car. I am very disappointed. A couple years ago I had tried the grossest tasting meat here, I gave it another shot. Biggest waste of money.

I always get the chicken bowls at Flame Broiler. I went to this particular one a few times, and I can honestly say not all Flame Broilers are as bad as this one. The chicken is really bad, dark meat. It’s sad, but the other Flame Broilers I’ve been to are actually great.

I used to be a big fan of flame broiler. I don’t know what happened. Today I got the chicken and angus steak plate but the chicken wasn’t as great as it used to be. The angus steak was super dry and hard… It didn’t taste much like angus steak. The portions are big but. Quality over quantity. My favorite part were the oranges lol

What is this place is it a smoked teriyaki chicken? Only consumed what they call fresh chicken because I was starving but left half of the brown rice which is completely unusual as I love my carbs. Bottom line is I received a few coupons in the mail and decided what the heck it’s not as good as waba but let’s change it up, we shared a chicken and a beef bowl, the chicken was a dark color like it had been marinated in a soy teriyaki sauce of some sort, the flavor was of a smoke, NOT good. The beef, well it was almost jerky style, if it was a little thinner and drier it would have been decent jerky, the flavor was not good and the dryness did not help. The brown rice was ok but had taken on the smoked flavor from the meats so it was not good either. This review is for chicken and beef bowls with brown rice. I will stick with WABA which I believe is less expensive and much tastier!!!

This location has had great service every time I’ve been here. Food is good. I like to get a pump of the magic and a little of the hot sauce(kinda vinegary). I like the beef over the chicken, and you can also do an all veggie bowl as well. Also…Bronco ID’s get drinks for free :) I don’t think they are doing the stamp card thing anymore. I usually don’t pop in late during closing time, but I had just gotten out of class, hungry, and it was four minutes to close. The lady still helped us with a smile and was super friendly.
