When an hour and a half before they were closing and they turned us away then they would have made at least another $ 60 how sad will never go back there and I will tell people not to go there they were rude we are personally offended

My honest opinion is this. My experience wasn’t too nice. I went an hour before closing and the girl that did my full set did not looked too thrilled to do my nails. Yeah she did a good job but I know she could’ve done better if she wasn’t rushing. For the price I paid, I expected a better job. The way I see it is that most women go and get their nails done because they want to feel pampered and it’s our girl time. Even if this place was close to closing I think they should service their customers the same way. Not all rushing and it just makes our experience a bad one. I will never go back, not because they don’t do a good job. But because they didn’t give me a good experience. Maybe they should keep that in mind.

I love this place! Ever since I’ve been coming here my nails grew. Kim did a fabulous job. They don’t use drills to take off color gel, they use nail files and that has kept my nails strong. They are clean and follow clean procedure.

I mainly come here for manicures only. I’ve heard many times that’s people have had many complaints about this place but I have had nothing but amazing service!
All these ladies are quick and great when doing manicures and their equipment is very clean and sanitized. I love to see MINDY! She is great! She has such a great personality she will keep a great conversation with you.
The pricing for a gel manicure is $ 25. They have so many colors to choose from. The only downside from this is some of the colors I want they have ran out of :(. Other than that this is a great location and has a very friendly staff.

I have been coming here for almost 4 years. I love this place because they have good prices for what you get. I usually get manicure ($ 12) and brow wax ($ 10). All the workers here are usually super friendly. I grow my nails out so they look like acrylics, so i don’t have to pay $ 26 for a full set instead I pay $ 12 for manicure.

this nail salon is honestly fantastic– customer service is great, the prices are perfect, and the nail painting itself is grade A.
the women are very nice and they make friendly conversation, so it’s not super awkward and quiet.
I definitely recommend this nail salon; they know what they’re doing. and they’re good at it!

This review is LONG overdue! Honestly, I think Unilocal’s overall rating for this place is completely off – it should be given more stars! I used to live in the heart of SF and pay a lot more to get my nails done… this place does it better (or at least by the women who I’ve had work with me). To be clear: I only get regular mani/pedi’s and gel manicures, so I can’t speak for acrylics or if you love nail art stuff… I never get those so I can’t review how well they do that. I’ve also tried several nail salons in the surrounding area, and even once in Manhattan Beach at an upscale salon, and leave wishing I just went here. My all time favorite manicurist is Kim (my mom also always requests her too)– she’s super sweet and is by far the neatest, most detailed, really gentle (except when she gives awesomely strong massages) manicurists and pedicurist (?? Is that a word??) ever. I’ve had work done by the other girls in the salon too when I didn’t make appointments and have no complaints… though to be honest, Kim’s work makes me really biased to this place. The place is relatively clean compared to other salons that I’ve tried who supposedly have ⁴⁄₅ star ratings on Unilocal (ugh. I once tried a ⁴⁄₅ star place who pulled out a PORTABLE old, weak foot tub for my pedicure!!! And they did a half-​a$$ job smoothing out the skin around the nails… they didn’t paint the nails as close to the skin as possible leaving a larger margin than preferred) At least here they use a built in tub with a massage chair and they scrub down and wash the tubs after each person! I’d recommend to give this salon a try – pricing is fair too!

First impression was great. But then the nail tech keep try to convince me use gel color instead of regular color after I repeatedly told her no due to they didnt have the color I want in gel. She still continute suggest different gel colors … The experience went down hill from there.

Hmm… This place really is hit or miss…
Service used to be really top notch. I went once for just a polish change, and they still went above and beyond with their hospitality.
Now, 75% of my visits ends up disappointing. They seem somewhat disorganized, and they’ve become just another nail salon with ladies noisily bickering in Vietnamese.

Took my daughter for a fill. She had an appointment and we were on time. They took her after 30 minutes then once in the chair started working on her and left her sitting there for 15 minutes to help another patron. Spoke only to each other, not in English which is rude. Though the fill was done well, it wasn’t worth the horrible customer service. We will not be back.

I absolutely love the way my nails are done! The first time I visited this location I came to get my eyebrows done and the tech did s great job! This place is a little on the pricey side, but they do an amazing job and they make sure you are satisfied. I went for a fill in today and it came out way better than the first time I got them done! I am so happy!

All i got done was a fill. For $ 17. I mean that’s kinda ridiculous. My fill was not good at all. The paint job is bad too. The lady was like rushing to get my nails done and she was really rude. I don’t know her name but I do know she wore a lot of makeup and jewelry. I did NOT like it there and will not be going back.
