I absolutely adored this tea shop. Walked in late in the morning amd was greeted by the owner, I assume, who was such a delight! Service was great and the lunch was tasty! I tried the londonderry salad with their vinaigrette and it was just perfect. Will definitely come back to try their high tea. I think the only thing that I could have done without was their jewelry display. That seemed to discourage the lovely flow of the place.

The English garden is a quaint tea room with 17 different tea flavors, a menu of fresh sandwiches and salads, a case of yummy baked goods, and all at good prices. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and kind. Service is usually fast, and everything is delicious. Usually very quite when i go around 11 or 2. There’s also a small gift shop of tea pots, cups, and handmade jewelry. LOVETHISPLACE

Went once and never again. Food was not good. Definitely not worth the money they are charging.

Very disappointed. The picture of the Victorian Tea that Alexandra C. posted is not $ 20. It’s $ 40. Very deceiving. The sandwiches did not taste good at all. The waitresses were pretty friendly but the food did not taste good at all.

English Garden Tea Café is the name of a new tea place I checked out this afternoon, and it’s also a good description of their décor too. It’s decorated as a formal English tea room with frilly and flowery things and fancy tea cups. I regularly go to the different teahouses in town, and it was nice to discover this newcomer. They have a selection of different types of tea that are brewed properly when you order, as well as a menu of salads, soups, sandwiches, and baked goods. They also serve a traditional English High Tea which is a light meal including tea and a variety of several food items. I just stopped in at the spur of the moment today so I just had a pot of their house blend oolong tea and a small garlic and cheddar scone. Very pleasant. I’ll come back for lunch someday.

Saw this new tea room last month and finally went last Friday. Had a fabulous time! Great tea selection and menu. I looked up the menu ahead of time and knew I wanted to try their Victorian Tea. It come with everything(tea, a cup of soup, fruit parfait, and a 3 tier selection of sandwiches, scones, and desserts)! All for $ 20. **Note if you want to do this make sure to make a reservation, for other menu items you can just show up!** My favorites were the chicken salad sandwich, cucumber sandwich, french onion soup, and their sinful chocolate peanut butter brownie. Mmmm! The service was polite and efficient, Erin was a doll! Beth the owner was awesome as well. My only suggestions would be to have music turned on the whole time,(it was turned on towards the end of the tea service and was a little too quiet without it) and to serve the scones warmed rather then at room temp. I will definitely come here again and am so happy to have a new tea room so close by. :)
