Mattress World Northwest Clackamas

After a horrible experience at Mor Furniture (salesman was aweful), we went back to MATTRESS WORLD NW. I had spoken to Davis last night and he was able to answer many of my questions over the phone. When we arrived he showed us numerous mattress sets and was knowledgeable about his products. Davis was able to get the financing we wanted and even got us no interest with equal payment. We have purchased for Mattress World many times and will do so again if its ever needed.
We met the owner of the company Sean and had a lovely chat with him as well. Great people and great experience.

Want to share a great customer service experience. 2 years ago, my husband popped into this mattress store and asked if they could help him find a couple of caster wheels for our older-​model bed frame (two had broken). The team at this store dug around in their «spare parts» box and simply gave him the wheels for free. At that point my husband shared «when we are in need of a new mattress, you can count on us returning to your store.» A few weeks ago, we did return to this store and bought a new Cal-​King Mattress, and their best quality bed frame (no more caster wheels, thank you). First round with our new mattress = wasn’t the best fit for us. With the 90-​day guarantee for exchange, we just exchanged it for a softer version with the same brand, waiting for it to deliver now. Wanted to share that Justin and Emerald have gone above and beyond for us, have provided superior customer service and a great «human-​to-​human» interaction for us. We’ll be back in a few months to purchase a guest bedroom mattress next. Thanks to everyone at this store who worked with us, much appreciated.

What can I say, these guys rock! Awesome, super friendly low pressure customer service, very informative and they are happy to match pricing. Really great place to purchase a matress. We’ll definitely be back :)

Mattress world nw obviously doesn’t care about there customers and if there happy or not. My husband and I bought a bed now two days ago and it’s so hard I can’t sleep on it. I wake up in the middle of the night in pain having to move to the couch. We spent $ 1600 on a mattress I can’t sleep on. Yesterday I spent my whole day off going to the canby and clackamas locations to see if we can exchange the bed for something softer that I can actually sleep on. They told me if I wanted a bed that’s priced at $ 1600 I would need to pay $ 600 more when I have already paid $ 1600. They said they can’t go off what we paid for the bed, but what they did. So basically they want me to pay over $ 2000 for a $ 1600 bed. I have emailed the store and wrote on Facebook with no response from anyone. They have me stuck with a bed I can’t sleep on feeling like I’ve made the worst mistake of my life. This is not how you treat your customers, especially ones who have spent a good chunk of money at your stores. I am so upset and no one seems to want to fix it. I hope anyone who reads this rethinks about there policies and customer service and doesn’t go there. If I could I would give them no starts!

Very friendly sales staff. Excellent selection of mattresses, plus they beat prices. We went in just to check it out over Memorial Day after we’d already picked out a mattress at another store. For the same money, we walked out with a nicer mattress and two free queen size memory foam pillows. Free delivery, free removal of old mattress. The delivery guys were super fast, efficient and cheerful. Had a new bed in my house with the old one removed in less than 10 mins. They’ll do same day delivery, too. I’m impressed and will definitely go back if/​when we need another mattress.

No hard sell… So much better than our overpriced restonic bed purchased a year earlier from bedco. If your in the market for a new bed go to mattress world. Lots of choices here.

So I go out to buy two mattresses on Christmas Eve for my sons new bunk bed. Yes I waited to the last minute. I had never been to any Mattress store but after calling some on craigslist and getting the run around I was immediately suspect and went in with a «they are going to try to rip me off» attitude. Nothing could be further from the truth. First, they were great and the price was the same as when I called. Second they ended up cutting me a better deal just to be nice and save me a drive to another location. Last, the quality is great for the price (cheap). I ended up feeling bad for being suspect of them :)

This company has a HUGE heart. My son is a disabled vet who after two years of struggling after leaving the Army is finally able to get his life back together .
My husband and I have been helping as much as we can, But he needed a decent mattress which he did not have, in fact his old mattress was the worst mattress I ever placed my hands on, all you could feel was the wire coils no padding what so ever. He contacted Sheri at Clackamas Mattress world to ask about help getting a mattress, We went there yesterday and she donated a great mattress, box spring and delivery to my son. No more painful days of recovering for lack of sleep. Please shop at this store, they are local and family owned, and they are just plain good people with great prices. thank you!

I stopped by this store to ask some questions about their balloons outside as I’d like to use something similar. All the people I spoke with were more than friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help get me the information I needed. I was impressed with their helpfulness and would be very comfortable going back to get help with mattress shopping. I didn’t detect any hard sell tactics toward anyone in the store.

My wife and I went by to look for a price on a mattress we were interested in buying. The Mattress World Northwest salesman said they didn’t carry what we were looking for (brand) but they had an alternative if we were willing to give them a chance. The salesman was nice enough but he kept trying high-​pressure sales technique which always turn me off. We found an alternative mattress that seemed like it was comparable to what we were looking for, so we put money down to reserve the «special pricing» he was offering and then left to try out the mattress we originally wanted at another location. When it came right down to it, we really wanted the brand that Mattress World Northwest didn’t carry, so we bought the bed at another location and then went back to get our deposit back. When we arrived back at Mattress World Northwest, our original salesman had left. We then got to deal with the owner’s idiot son who seems to be challenged by the phrase, «no thank you, we really just want our deposit back». The son, the now-​adult version of the kid from the commercial, got angry at us and told us we were making a mistake. After jerking us around for almost 30 minutes, we finally got our refund. Even after we got our money refunded, the son tried high-​pressure sales to get us to buy a mattress from him and then got mad again when we told him we already bought a mattress elsewhere and that we were done shopping. I originally told him that I appreciated that Mattress World was willing to let us put money down on a bed while we compared the two mattresses, and that if I was ever in the market for a new bed, I would come visit them again. But after dealing with the idiot son, I will never set foot back in there. That kid should be relegated to lifting heavy objects and not be allowed near the public.
