this place gets promoters and never pays them. The are thieves. Don’t give them business.

Despite what others may think, I’m a fan of this joint. It’s not the BESTEST, but I can deal with it. My rating & review is purely based on them as an establishment, and NOT based on the events that promoters host here(as well as the janky practices of some promoters). Sooooo, as an establishment? They’re dope as balls. Excellent set-up. LOADS of space. They’ve got a FEW bars around the venue, should they anticipate a good turnout of people for an event. Their bathrooms are always kept clean, as they’ve got awesome bathroom attendants… Unlike some clubs that simply allow their floors to resemble slightly-dried bukkake. They provide EXCELLENT security. Not your typical tri-state bouncers who are testosterone-ridden, steroid-driven, and non-coochie-given… Nah, they’re just guys doing their job to not only protect the business, but to actually protect the safety of the people in their venue. Cool security. I must also mention that even though they only have a small parking lot themselves, it seems to be general practice(based on their size and attendee turnouts) for everyone to park in neighboring businesses, like the shopping center across the road. So there’s always parking, technically, since most other businesses are closed late at night. The downside? The prices. The drink prices could stand to be a wee bit lower, but I guess they do gouge based on their reputation and notoriety(when I went last night, T.I. was there and they had sold out). So they figure people will just pay money since they’re there to see celebrities. No reason I should be paying $ 11 for a Smirnoff & Cran. Ridiculous. Oh, and the fact that their ATM fee is $ 5??? $ 5??? $ 5??? For that much money, the ATM better tell my damn fortune, as well Bruv! I typically come to this spot since I know one of my the main promoters(who happens top NOT be one of the really janky or shady ones), and one of the house DJ’s… Or when someone I know is performing or hosting. Again, cool PLACE… But lower those drink prices! And that high ATM fee!

Rude! When you call no one answers the phone. How can you get the information your looking for if no one ever answers the phone. Then, they ask you to text them but no one respond to the text messages. So frustrating

It’s local so I usually go here if I don’t feel like venturing out. The décor is blah but it’s a spacious venue. It gets pretty crowded on Thursdays. Security in the front is polite, I personally have never had an issue, bartenders are pretty decent as well. The only exception is the rude gap toothed«female» that works the front door. Other than that, not a bad place.

If I could give this place a million negative stars, best believe I would. They started advertising all over social media Nicki Minaj was playing. Me and my friend being mad hype bought tickets a couple days after hearing of this event. Literally two minutes after purchasing the tickets, NICKIMINAJHERSELFBASICALLYTWEETSSHEHASNOIDEATHISPLACEEVENEXISTSANDSHEWILLNOTBEPERFORMINGHERE. Shortly after this, the club’s website went ‘down for maintenance’(i call bullshit) and now, several days later they still have not addressed the issue. In fact, they were still promoting the event on their facebook!!! Someone commented a screenshot of Nicki’s tweet and low and behold the post was taken down entirely. This place and the people the run it are extremely sketchy and clearly do not know how to properly handle a situation like this. I’ve never been to this club before and after this incident, I will never attend any sort of event/performance/show here. My friend and I are still waiting for their response, but more importantly we are still waiting on getting refunds. If they could get on top of that instead of engaging in the illegal act of misrepresentation and false advertising, maybe this place wouldn’t have such a bad reputation which is progressively going from bad to worse.

Once upon a time, Bliss was literally my second home. I loved their amazing Saturday Latin nights. If you came in on the guestlist before 11 it was free, coat check was only $ 2 and drinks were half priced until 11. There is also tons of free parking and depending on the night some heavy hitter DJ or even some decent performances. VIP in the area is a nice perk only because you get a table that’s set high so you can see the crowd. The dance floor space is a decent size, but only one room. The big downfall is the $ 50 credit card minimum for a tab and the $ 20 to get in without a guest list… so plan ahead properly. Overall, the options for real clubs in NJ are slim, this is a good smaller alternative to trekking all the way into NYC. This is more of a younger crowd, BUT people still doll up with heels and nice button down shirts for the guys, so no matter your age, dress as if you WERE23. Another similar venue is Rise in Lodi or Lounge 46(mixed ages here). Where ever you end up, just remember that the night is whatever you make of it!

Wow I can see why there are so many negative reviews here… I used to go to bliss a few years ago before it got remodeled and the place was so busy and fun to club at. Albeit it had an overly«jersey shore» vibe to it — I still enjoyed myself. Fast forward to two years or so on a Thursday and the place was just so sad and disappointing. The new layout is extremely awkward and poorly designed. The music was alright but the crowd was gone– maybe a maximum of 15 – 20 people there on a Thursday all standing awkwardly amongst one another. Another thing– they didn’t have ANY heat on so the place was freezing cold to the point that I kept my winter coat on. Paid $ 10 per person for a terrible night. Left after 30 min. Wouldn’t come back on the weekend as the prices are super high and that new layout is doomed for disaster.

I was just there this Saturday for the first time and had a GREAT time ! It wasn’t so packed which was okay so it gave everyone room. The DJ was really good as well as the drinks. I didn’t get to catch the bartenders name but he was excellent.

Absolutely terrible bar! The drinks are water down and overpriced. They only played Spanish music and the bartenders are racist white airheads who do not have a bartenders license. Do not waste your time with this bar! It is absolutely terrible. It should be closed down. The bartenders are probably under aged and having relations with the owner!

Went to this place for my friend’s birthday last weekend. It’s an okay place. We texted earlier in the night to get on the guest list, so ladies were free and guys were half off until 11pm. We got there around 10:30ish, the place was pretty empty. We ordered a couple drinks and waited for the AlexSensation to come. The place began to pick up around 11/11:30, and the DJ was really good — he played a good combo of Latin and Top Hits and transitioned really well. I don’t dance unless I have a good drink, and I had asked the bartender to make me something fruity(I hate doing that to them, but I’m terrible at drink choices). He threw some stuff in a cup for me, and it was fabulous. Didn’t catch his name, but he’s awesome. Negatives about this place — Credit card tab min is $ 50. No thanks — Place isn’t very big and doesn’t look as nice as the website and Facebook make it look. Oh well — Normal cover charge is pretty hefty. Glad we got in for free — DJ after Alex was TERRIBLE at transitioning between songs. I’m not a DJ by any means, but it was horrible. Song choices were okay, but it was awkward trying to change gears between them — Valet Parking. It’s not terrible, but I hate having my car valeted — Coat check is $ 4. Just seems a bit pricey to me. Definitely come here with a group — not really an individual style bar. It’s a younger crowd(with some not so young sprinkled in there).

This place is trash. Drinks are over priced and a lot of staff is extremely rude. If it wasn’t for supporting some of my company’s events I would never go here. I’ve been there on EDM, Latin, and Hip Hop nights. The only time it’s actually packed is with EDM… And the new layout is ugly as shit, plus they got rid of their smoking deck out back. Who the hell designed that idea?! Stay away from here, you might as well hit the city unless bliss has a big name dj.

Went here for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday on Latin Night. The place was hopping. The music was bumping and the band performing was excellent. The prices are average for a club in the area. Bathroom was kept decently clean, considering it was such busy with so much traffic.

Think KTU, hairspray, fist pumping, acrylic nails, spray tans, sun tan lotion, clothes from A/X and Bebe, hair gel and silicone. Put all those ingredients into blender with protein shake mix and $ 2 shot specials. Blend on high while smoking a cigarette and figure out why there are permanently 3 cop cars patrolling every night they are open. Do I even need to say the G words? If that’s you’re scene cool. I’m just saying.

Bar-hop or pregame before you come here! My friends and I made the mistake of going on a Thursday night during the summer, arriving around 10:30pm. The only good thing about arriving early was their $ 2 drink special, which goes from 9−11pm. This club doesn’t have any sign of life before 11:30pm, and the fancy sleek pictures of the interior of the bar are LIES! It’s not as cool as it looks online. The DJ was good, however. If I wasn’t intoxicated, I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed this club as much, but since I went with a group of friends it was a good time. If you go here, go in a GROUP. If you have girlfriends that are underage, take them here on a THURSDAY night! Its 18 to get in, 21 for guys. The cover charge for those under 21 was ridiculous($ 15) but if you’re in the right company, you won’t care. Also: they’re CLOSEDONFRIDAYSDURINGSUMMER. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

Watch the Jersey Shore, and carbon copy all of those people and have them drink $ 15 jäger bombs all night. This place is miserable. Just head into NYC and save yourself from the Meatheads and Guidettes. I went to see Sean Kingston here and he was on stage for like 15 minutes. People were going nuts and just pushing to get closer to him… it was a bad experience. When thinking about going here again I have to quote Unilocal and say«Eek! Methinks not.»

A suggestion. Watch the enclosed video, and then decide if you’d like to go to Bliss. Not saying it’s allllllll bad, it IS cool to look at. The décor seems kind of pointless though, because let’s be honest. This is the place everybody goes when they want to get laid. The lighting is their not-so-subtle way of trying to distract their patrons from the seediness of reality IMO. But, they play good music most of the time, and I really enjoy people watching, so sometimes it’s OK. This definitely is the home of the NJ Guido, and his overly aggressive cousin 2nd-generation-arabic-guy-with-lame-kanye-west-inspired-mohawk. It’s good for the laugh, provided you don’t slip on some hair gel, or choke to death on cologne or overabundant chest hair.

Wow, just wow. I never would have stepped into this place was it not for a Young Professionals event that was hosted there recently. I figured that it would be alright. I jumped on Unilocal to see what people thought. A lot of people mentioned how nice the décor is. TERRIBLE. Essentially there is a sheet hanging loosly from the ceiling which resembles a gutted warehouse. The benches etc all look like they have gotten some terrible wear and tear and is very tacky. The general setup of the bar is also undesireable. There are choke points all over the place. But I digress… First of all they make you stay in a line outside the place for no reason. I understand this is a technique by many bars, but it is laughable. Ive been to dive bars, i dont care about waiting to get inside, but once inside, if you are goign to gouge me for drinks, at least give me some decent service. I went with a friend and we opened a tab at the bar which took a considerable amount of time and effort. We finally order drinks(drinks off thier«specials») and they are out of them. There is no draft beer, and they liquor supply is also shoddy. Finally decide on getting mixed drinks and the well they use is unidentifable. This does not stop them from charging an arm and a leg. For a second round(which took even longer than the first) we went to a different bartender at the same bar. We were then told you cant order drinks from a different bartender. THISISUNBELIEVABLE. Someone likened this bar to a NYC bar. Hardly. We ended up opening a second tab at a different bar which was much easier to gain access to. They wanted to charge $ 25 to get into this place but luckily we found a way to avoid the cover. Completely absurd that anyone would pay to get into this place. This place is terrible. I would never go here again in my life and would go out of my way to tell people not to go to this place. BTW, they do a 3 day $ 75 hold on your credit card. If i could give this place negative stars i would. Absolutely terrible.
