Joe’s Crab Shack

I’ve always walked by this place or worked out at the gym while passing by and I was always curious, so one day I decided to take my solo act over to this establishment and see how good the food was. I picked a good day! Wednesday is all you can eat crab. I had their Shark Bite drink. It was amazing. They take grenadine and put it in this mixture of rum (151 is in it) so it looks like a shark attacked someone and blood is all over the water… Excellent. I think I just cried tears of joy inside cause it was amazing. I have never felt this kinda joy since Home Alone 2 when Kevin McAllister sees his mom at Rockefeller. Most strong drinks taste pretty alcoholic so this was a refreshing change. Man it packs a punch! I also respect that this restaurant makes sure you can only have two of these drinks at most. I’ve never seen a restaurant enforce something like this. I’m impressed with their level of responsibility on top of their stellar service!
Speaking of service… The server’s name was Chad, and let me tell you. This guy was on his game son! He always came by and asked me if I needed more crab, and I was like oh yeah! He was more psychic than Miss Cleo with his refilling of the crabs. Half the time I asked and the other times he just knew. Some other random guy came by and gave me spicy crabs and that stuff was awesome. If Stephen Curry was a server he’d be Chad.
In a separate review of another place I wrote that it took my breath away like Freddie Prinze Jr. in She’s All That but let me tell you… This place was just as good. The environment was friendly and I felt good even though I was by myself (some places make you feel uncomfortable). Chad even gave me a bib and that was cool too. They did a dance to «Car Wash» which I found to be pretty epic. Take a back seat Lord Of The Rings battle scenes. Their music selection brought me back to my youth. Loved every song. They were playing a lot of old school hits and I was blown away like a leaf in a hurricane.
Though the prices are a little high I will say this. They’re actually not too bad when you think about it, and the drinks I had packed a punch yet cost less than 9 bucks! Get that son!!! Worth every penny to come here. I will most definitely come back here.

So I’ve been here a time or two and I feel as if the quality has been slipping a little bit but granted I’m pretty sure crabs aren’t in season rite now so that has a lot to do with it I’m sure. The crabs were lacking meat and weren’t as sweet as I’m used to.
I did however discover that Joe’s offers up some of the best fried clam strips I have had to date.
