Ugh. Terrible service. Bad food. No flavor, no personality. Literally it’s only saving grace is beer on tap. That about it.

So the parking lot is small one way different way out. The entrance is only accessible through the side where you entered. Walked in was greeted, but I just sat down cause the waitress were busy. Waitress then came and handed me a menu asked what to drink. Menu pretty decent. Then brought the drink and came back with chips and salsa. Salsa good not used it being super liquidly though. Chips had no salt that’s fine. So was torn in getting the smothered burrito or the chicken tamales. Ended up getting the tamale, I should have gotten the burrito. Anyway the red sauce that is normally on the tamale was an orangey color(I got it on the side). tasted it was fine, the tamale itself was dry and slightly bland on the inside. The rice and beans though were amazing. The beans were super good and not watery at all. The rice was super FLUFFY! and had a good amount of flavor. The iced tea was stout but was super refreshing cause of all the ice and it being chilled before hand. I didn’t know if the waitress would give me my bill or if I had to go up to the front to pay. So paid for the food and left a tip. Anyway was decent next time will get the burrito. The prices are slightly on the upside cause it was $ 8.00 for a tamale with rice and beans. Overall paid about $ 12.00 for my meal tip included.

The food is good. This is a small town so you may be able to find better Mexican food but it’s not going to be near here. I think you will be happy with this restaurant. I recommend giving it a try.

I was not sold walking into this joint. It was hot, and the Wahlburgers was playing on the TV in the background. However, there are ceiling fans, it’s impossibly cheap, and the Super Tacos are ostensibly the best tacos I have ever laid lips on. Do it.

The food and prices are good(A-), but the customer service is below-average(D). From being placed on hold then being hanged up on when trying to place a phone order, to not being acknowledged for up to 5 mins when I go to pick up orders, hence the non-5 star rating

I read all kinds of reviews about this place both good and bad. But honestly, even though I do like to read the reviews before making a decision to try somewhere, there is not a whole lot of options in a small town like Coalinga, so regardless, I was going to try this place. The only bad thing I could say about this place is NOT really a bad thing. They are very busy, so you do have to wait sometimes. BUT, again… a Friday night… what do you expect? So let’s get to the good. I ordered the veggie burrito. It was pretty good. The proportions were pretty much standard for most the places I go(which is usually too much for one feeding). But the price… was incredibly low. $ 3.25 for a burrito. You won’t get that price where I currently reside. More like twice that much. I ordered to go so it was just a brief encounter, but the staff was very nice. I will definitely come back here the next time I am in the lovely city of Coalinga. Good food, great price. I was satisfied.

Their food and service is good. One of the best mexican places in Coalinga and there are several.

Came in at lunch time and the place was ¾ full and filling quickly. Ordered a $ 2 Horchata and was blown away by the huge volume of deliciousness(see pic). Ate some nice thick tortilla style chips(not lame corn chips that are like pressed powder) and dark red non-watery non-chunky salsa that, for me, had a perfect level of heat: spicy enough that you can feel it but not so spicy that you kill your drink So far sooo good! Next up was my tried and true test: Can you make a good chile verde chimichanga? YES! They actually took the time to fry it till it was brown like a crispy waffle!!! The chile verde wasn’t the largest chunks nor the most moist but taken together it was legit. Since they passed my initial test I’ll be sure to come back and try some of their seafood! Two complaints– its loud inside, and they aren’t quick. Try them :)

We are on a long road trip and enjoyed our lunch here so much! Amazing chile relleno, good horchata, and our son loved his beans and the great rice. I’d definitely recommend it!

After several visits and to-go orders, I will definitely say this is the best Mexican restaurant in Coalinga. I LOVE their horchata drink, even though I know it isn’t freshly home-made. what really makes this place good is that their rice is SOO good. Soft and fresh. I usually get the kids menu since it’s the perfect portion. Love their burritos and enchiladas. Their salsa is REALLY good too. The best I’ve ever had I think. The only reason why I keep back a star is because they take a long time(of course, this means they’re freshly made and b/c they’re so busy)… otherwise, really great food. I think I’m gonna go here every week :)

Came here for lunch over the weekend and had their chile relleno and soft taco. Bf ordered chimichanga which was decent(good size for the price). Perks: –their mexican rice if fantastic! very fluffing and flavorful –beans were great as well. I don’t usually like refried beans but it was really tasty. –prices are excellent: SUPERCHEAP –salsa was pretty good… had a nice kick to it. but not chunky enough Pitfalls: — it was kind of smelly… it smelled like seafood in a hot mexican joint

Food was good the fresh corn tortillas where delicious the only down fall is that it took too long to get two bowls of menudo it took about 30 – 35 minutes when you figure its already done.

There were 10 of us who visited on a Sunday. The place was packed but they had room for us. The service was quick, the chips were hot(a must), the salsa was a wet type and just the right temp, and they had bottled Coke! Prices are reasonable and there was not one complaint in our group. I’ll return the next time I make my way to Coalinga.

The man and I spent the morning in King City and had lunch here on our way back to Clovis. He ordered a shredded beef burrito, and I had huevos rancheros. The huevos rancheros are pretty hard to screw up, but the sauce can be. The sauce on these huevos was delicious: spicy without lighting my world on fire, a little sour from lime juice, and not too salty. The man described his burrito as, «You know, good.» I wouldn’t know; he inhaled it before I could snag a taste. The appetizer chips were warm and salty, and the salsa was tangy and a smudge spicy. I suspect the food was authentic as we were the only English-speaking patrons supping, and we had to wait to order because the first waitress went to find someone who could speak English better than she could. The only downside was the place smelled slightly of bleach. It was exactly overpowering, but it was definitely noticeable when we first walked in. Two great-tasting, filling lunches, sodas, and unlimited chips and salsa for $ 13. Not bad at all.
