I’ve been here before. It was good then, now I brought my husband here… we spent 40 dollars on a walk up to the counter order. On two combos and two drinks. I wish I would have went to rancho

First time here and had the chicken burrito and thought it was really fresh. Lots of lettuce with fresh hand picked chicken. Will have to try the breakfast burrito next!

This place was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted to go out to eat where locals would go and not pay $ 20 a plate per person. Inside and outside seating No more than 1 mile from downtown Coeur d’Alene Crispy warm chips and good salsa Food came out fast, friendly staff, good prices(spent $ 44 total on two fried bean burritos, four taquitos, enchilada style burrito, three cheese enchiladas with beans and rice, two beers, chips and salsa!) Thank you from California!

I have only ever had chicken enchiladas from the Mexican Food Factory and they have been ‘okay’, every time. The flavors definitely scream ‘Americanized’, as far as Mexican food goes, but that isn’t what stops me from giving this restaurant more stars. This place is dirty, rundown and over priced. It feels like no cares, like it lacks heart and soul. I would like to see the actual restaurant itself, be cleaned up and some love be put into the place. If that happened, I would be inclined to eat here on a more regular basis.

Absolutely delicious! And hands down, the best breakfast burritos in town! Clean and friendly!

Friendly, helpful staff and the portions seemed to be good size but… 1. Food was far from authentic… Ameri-Mex maybe 2. Overpriced

Dumpy and hot and small inside. Door going to restroom looks like it was at a jiffy lube covered in grease very gross. No waitress have to go to counter and place your order, over priced very average food at best $$$$ for what you get fountain drink $ 3.00. Go to another for sit down dinner.

Best breakfast burritos in town; go for the chili Colorado! I’ve been a regular here for over 20 years and always enjoy the food. Prices have risen a little, yes, but still cheaper than the typical sit-down restaurant… and the portions are bigger here! Fast, friendly service too.

This WAS a great local Mexican food joint in Midtown area of Coeur d’Alene. What it is now is expensive, so-so service, crappy food, and no local vibe. The owner has recently talked some crap about other local businesses, that has turned me off of this once cool place. The Midtown area is growing and getting a cool local setting, but unfortunately MFF is lagging and the price you pay for food is not worth the quality you get. Bummed to give a low score to a once awesome local place.

I stopped to get my wheels aligned at a shop next door and asked where I could get some breakfast. He told me about this place and I was pleasantly surprised. For breakfast, they do a build your own burrito. Yum!

May be the best bean burrito I’ve ever had but their prices are too high. I also love their rolled tacos w/guacamole but again waaay too expensive. I would eat here so much more often if their prices were a little more reasonable.

The food at Mexican Food Factory is always delicious when we have the chance to actually dine there. The last 4 times we have tried to go they have been closed at normal week day hours. Their website also says they are open and we will drive all the way downtown and they will be closed! The hours are hit and miss but the food is always excellent.

I really like this little place. You can see them preparing the food. The flavors are good and the food comes fast. The patio is nice in the summertime. Cool midtown CDA location.

Although it may not be the most authentic Mexican Food Factory does justice to quick Hispanic food. It’s essentially your favorite taco truck on crack.

Not impressed at all. The salsa boring, the beans soupy and lacking flavor. I had a chicken enchilada and chicken burrito. All I can say is that it was edible. I’ve had much better salsa in other places along with beans in the North West. Coming from Southern California I’ve had great Mexican food. This place just made me miss one of favorites, Miguel’s in coronado. Still looking for a good place in this area.

This is a GREAT place for Chili Colorado… The best burrito in town, whether it is Breakfast or Lunch, you get friendly service and a smile from the staff. The business has been around for years and they KNOW good food. Thank you for your great service.

I ordered the veggie burrito with chicken and a negra modelo. Chicken was bland and very watery. Rest of the burrito was ok. I guess when you live in California you’re just used to better than average Mexican food but i dont know why this place has such rave reviews

Tacos include your choice of spicy ground beef, chicken or the craveworthy shredded beef, with the meat itself going for a dip in the deep fryer whilst tucked inside a gently crisped corn tortilla, then topped with finely shredded cheddar, icy cold thin strips of lettuce and topped with tomato chunks. The enchiladas and tamales are unimpeachable, smothered in twangy Colorado sauce and a hot lava flow of melted cheese. Burritos are a specialty here, with fifteen available options including nearly every combination of beans, meat, cheese, and rice possible. Personally, I have a fetish for the Shredded Beef and Cheese Burrito, which is the only burrito on the menu to hit the hot oil before being served, an act which creates a cosmic fusion between the meat and cheese, causing glazed eyeballs and burrito nirvana to overcome this particular diner. The Chili Rellanos are listed on the menu as a seasonal item, but I don’t recall ever having a problem ordering the exquisite red-sauce covered, pan-fried, omelettey egg and spicy green pepper treats. Combination platters are served with fluffy seasoned rice and homemade refried beans, which are sinfully lardy and fresh daily. Read the full review:

Simple and fresh food with great friendly service. Inside seating is limited but during good weather there is a lot of tables outside. The more I stop here the more I like this place. Everything is noticeably fresh and the portions are such you shouldn’t go away hungry. Daily specials are dirt cheap. Only downside is they are not open on the weekend, so you need to get your fix during the week.

The best Mexican food I’ve ever had outside of California, and much better than most Mexican food I’ve had in California. It is a small hole-in-the-wall, family-run place, with a drive thru and counter ordering. The ingredients they use are super good quality, simple, and delicious. The tortillas are so fresh that they leave flour on your fingers. The salsa is also very good – not too hot that it masks the taste of the food, but just right. I dream about their rice and bean burritos. Since it is family run, the hours do sometimes vary, and they’ve been both unexpectedly closed and unexpectedly open.
