A quiet, little, family run coffee shop on College Point Blvd to grab a nice breakfast, lunch or weekend brunch. If you like soup any time of the day like me, check out the list of soups of the day on the counter. Sopa de Mondongo? Mmmm, beef tripe soup! A big bowl of it, too, makes for a meal by itself. We had stopped in on more recent trip for brunch after Sunday morning shopping. The french toast was very good, along with my side of home fries. What surprised me was that I’d never seen 8″ long breakfast sausage before and they were longer than my hand. My wife’s roasted vegetable panini was pretty good as well, stuffed with roasted red peppers, onions, tomatoes, oozing mozzarella cheese and accompanied by a giant scoop of potato salad. Next time I’ll definitely have to grab me one of those monster blueberry muffins on the counter, the ones with the 6″ square muffin tops that you can eat for 2 days.

Had a terrible experience with over cooked food and the owners attitude was very disrespectful and nasty My cousin and I went for lunch and told the waitress that our burger was over cooked she told us to inform the owner I told her I didn’t want anyone thinking I could not pay I simply wanted to inform her that is lacked taste and was over cooked The owner snatched the receipt and said we didn’t want to pay I was so offended and upset that the owner was under the impression two African American women didn’t want to pay STAYAWAYFROMTHERACISTOWNERANDNASTYFOOD

Spanish omelette is off the charts, the inside has a sweet tomato, carrot and celery stew type filling and the home fries a good as well. The place is not crowded and definitely has a straight up dinner feel to it. Prices are also very reasonable and staff is friendly.
