I rented out a tuxedo for a black tie wedding that I will be standing in this Saturday. The fitting process went relatively smoothly, however significant problems with the tux surfaced when I went to pick it up.
I arrived and was handed the bag so I could verify the fit, I went back into the dressing room and opened it up to find the entire garment with the appearance of the one that had been carried around in a gym bag. The shirt, cummerbund, and jacket were horribly creased. The shoes were also badly dented.

Unfortunately the woman at the store seemed very dismissive, making comments like «it’s a rental» when I pointed out the issues.
Thankfully one gentleman there, Nathan, stepped up and was very helpful by attempting to press out the majority of the wrinkles from the garment. Sadly, there are still small issues there unable to be pressed out.
From what I was told, this is now representative of the way in which all Jos a Banks locations transport their suits. I strongly recommend anyone looking to utilize their rental service to consider other options. I also recommend anybody forced to rent a tux Cito from them to go well in advance to verify the garment is actually ready for wear.
Given the issues and the blasé attitude of most staff I’d go 1 star here. Nathan’s pleasant help was the only thing to somewhat salvage the experience.

I got fitted for a brand new suit by Ray the other day. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and amazing throughout the entire fitting. I am 100% satisfied with the service I received, and the stunning suit I was fitted for and purchased!

One of the best places in town for Men’s suits. They are pricey but the quality is second to none. It’s best to catch them on their sales that they have which is very often. I recently came in and bought 4 suits for a little over $ 800 and that included the ties, shirts, pocket squares, and alterations. I also was able to get the camel hair blazer that I patiently waited to go on sale for for $ 137 (retailed at $ 550). You can’t beat it. The staff is always courteous and you will get great quality suits and ties here. See my pictures for reference.
