Tried this restaurant over the weekend and I’m a fan! We had reservations and were seated right away. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The pasta fagioli soup was better than most and we were very pleased with the Sunday gravy pasta and the sausage meatballs with gemmeli, which was served in a white wine sauce. Would highly recommend and I’ll be going back.

Get a reservation then prepare to wait 20 min. extra. Nbd it was a rainy evening we had nothing better to do. This place is BYOB which makes the additional 20 min wait even more bearable. The food was really good. Service was great. It’s weird though dunno if I’d come back but I’m definitely glad I came. Anyway here’s the lowdown: we got the caprese app, ricotta stuffed gnocchi, the seafood pasta & pizelles for dessert. My gnocchi was yum! Light but filling. Your entrée also comes with salad so an app might not be necessary especially considering bread is served to the table. The dessert was SO good though. Get it. So happy we decided to stuff out faces. Our total bill was 75 for 2. Give it a try. Nice date night spot for sure & better than, let’s say, a spot like season 52 of you’re getting Italian. Actually I retract my former statement, I might come back to try the Sunday gravy.

This is by far the best Italian food ever! I go here often and not only is the food and ambience amazing, but the staff and service is by far one of the most superior!

I don’t care about how big the portions are. I don’t care that the servers wear black shirts and white ties. I don’t care that they have Cento products as decoration. I do care that the food is basic my momma in law on Ritner Street gravy. I do care that the price paid is much higher. I do care that large portions do not mean good food. I do believe that even supporting the gangster lifestyle metaphorically is wrong. I do believe the food is not that good, and that people are suckers.

Fun little addition to Collingwood’s increasingly famous BYOB scene. Reasonably priced and delicious. Went here with a few friends on Tuesday night. Most of the other Unilocal reviews are correct. The service was good, if a bit rushed. The décor is corny: rat pack casino posters, mafia mugshots, etc. The dinner salad(served American style) was wilted and underdressed. Not a great start. The appetizers, however, more than made up for it. We split a delicious Caprese Salad and some prime rib and mozzarella on toast points. Based on other reviews, I ordered the Sunday Gravy: Meatball, Sausage, Braciole, Ribs, served with homemade red sauce(gravy) over pasta. At $ 28.00, it’s one of the pricer options on Haddon Avenue, but well worth the expense. I tried some of my friend’s gnocchi too — I’m not a huge gnocchi fan, I find it too heavy. KC’s were pillowy, not heavy at all. As someone who’s been going to Il Fiore and Villa Barone for years, I’m glad I tried this place. With a visit.

There food was pretty good. The owner is nice he comes out and talk to the customers at there table. He’ll even sit at your table which he did at ours. I would definitely go back. They also have specials going on most the time.

Some of the best Italian food this area has to offer and the owner is a stand up guy. KC never disappoints. The food and service are always spot on. My only complaint is to move the small circular table away from the bar or not have it there at all. People standing in that area are not mindful of the fact that people are trying to dine. Nothing like having a strangers tush in your face while you’re trying to enjoy dinner.

This place was delicious! I took my grandparents(born in Sicily and Italy) here and even they approved! We started with calamari and arancini. Both so yummy. I will say that the arancini isn’t traditional, as it’s suppose to be a rice ball filled with cheese. I couldn’t find any rice, but still delicious. I had the gnocchi and my other family members had chicken Alfredo, stuffed flounder, and pasta with clams. It was all so good, the gnocchi were so light and pillowy. And dessert, omg! We made reservations-which you should certainly do. I’ll definitely be back. Prices are reasonable and food is almost as good as my Nonna’s!

Well, my very first review here was just absolutely awesome, I had to commend the food, the friendly atmosphere, the awesome personnel, Tony, Samantha, and I certainly have to include our waiter tonight, since our waiter Tony has already been highly recommended, what a personality, and Samantha, the best, can’t say enough about, I know have to include Lon, what an absolute doll. Friendly, kind, efficient, and I could go on and on. We have never met the owner, Angelo, but our hats go off to you for creating a great establishment, food being excellent, and a fine staff. Great job to you all. Keep up the good work, I know where we will be eating quite often. Linda Novak

Judging from our experience, there is nothing bad about this place! I found this restaurant on Unilocal and decided to give it a try considering the reviews. I took my hubby out on a surprise dinner date and we were extremely pleased with the environment, atmosphere, staff, and food. We had Andrew as our waiter and he was absolutely amazing! We ordered the special appetizer, which was some ribeye something(delicious). Then we ordered our entrees, which mine was the chicken italiano and hubby had shrimp, scallops, and crab meat on vodka sauce. Lemme tell you… Mmmm…(Hope that sums it up-lol) My only complaint is that I wish I had saved enough room for dessert! Lol The«Brookie» sounded out of this world! But it would have been way too greedy from my part to order it. Definitely next time tho!

Came here the other night for a solo meal. I always listen to Mike Missanelli on 97.5 the Fanatic and hear the Kitchen Consigliere on Fridays and finally got the chance to go. I was told before to try the Sunday Gracy which was really good! Good meatball, sausage and spare ribs. The place is nice and bright and I was seated by the window which was fine. My server was very nice andouille. I got the pasta fagioli which came out hot as hell lol. They give u a nice sliced roll with butter. Soup was a good start nice and hot. The salad that came with the Sunday gravy was nice and crisp and a had me hungry for the main entrée which I wasn’t able to finish. Not because it wasn’t good but because I ate too much bread and soup lol. I’ll have to go back since there’s a lot of things I need to try like the gniocci consigliere!

Get. In. My. Belly. My fiancé and I have been here several times now and between the food and service we always wonder why we don’t come here more often. It’s a cute spot in collinswood that offers a great ambiance and delicious food. Tables are a little close together but that that adds to the feel of this place. People are coming here to enjoy a good meal with good company. The staff is extremely knowledgable. Any questions you have they know and they are quick to help you with some recommendations. Best part about the staff is how friendly and nice they are. They seem to be genuinely happy to be there. The staff is a huge part of the experience and these guys have it together. The food, so good. Fresh, made in house, flavorful, and plenty. I often get the gnocchi which is stuffed with cheese and made with a penne vodka sauce. I have tried a few other things while here and you can’t go wrong with any of it. To top it all off, it’s BYOB!

Can you still be a fan when there is little desire to return to said business? That is the question I was wrestling with when thinking about this review. In the end I decided that yes you can. Things started out poorly when we had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. But we were ushered to a nice window table and the vibe in the restaurant was uplifting. We liked the décor, kind of rustic Italian, dark unfinished wood with photos of Gumbas. We were greeted immediately by our server Andrew who fit the role perfectly with his Italian accent. The menu is primarily old school dishes, your parms, vodka sauces etc. I was torn between the night’s special pork Osso Bucco and the Italian gravy. In the end I choose the later to sample the various meats. The spareribs were good but messy to deal with, sausage was ok, brasciole was very good, and the meatball may have been the best I’ve had in a restaurant. The red sauce was very thick and flavorful and the rigatoni went nicely with the dish, though with a bit more pasta I might have taken w doggie bag home. Trish ordered a seafood in vodka sauce dish, I tasted it and thought it was pretty good, and it seemed to have a nice amount of shellfish in it. Salads came with the meal and were better than average, bread was nothing special but worked to sop up sauces. Just like the dishes, the clientele is primarily old school as well. At one point I think we were among the youngest diners. Glancing across the street we saw the young hipsters lining up for another Italian joint, but no lines here when we exited. With several other nearby options for this type of cuisine, and my current favorite being one of them, I can’t see us coming back soon. But if your parents or grandparents want a nice BYOB spot with slightly overpriced familiar favorites I think they would be fans. 4 the meatball earned that fourth star Unilocal

I’m puzzled myself why I’m not giving KC a 5 star review. The atmosphere was nice and beautifully decorated for Christmas and I didn’t even mind [that much] the 20 minute(with reservations!) wait that we had. Our entrees came with salads(nice ones w/romaine lettuce/spinach — not the junk iceberg) and good bread. My entrée was a really good pasta(homemade linguine — cooked al dente a!) with seafood — shrimp, scallops and crab meat. The vodka blush sauce was tasty too(thankfully not too salty). The shrimp were just okay — scallops — good and the crab meat, very good. Vince had the ‘Sunday gravy’ chock full of meats(meatballs — good ones!, ribs(not my thing) and braciole(not really my thing either). He really enjoyed his, which I was glad. The dish was over rigatoni. We didn’t have room for dessert. There are a boat load of Italian restaurants in the Collingswood/Westmont/Haddonfield area. I’m not sure I’d return to KC. I wasn’t wow’d but yet, not disappointed!!! IDK!

Based on other reviews, I really wanted to be wowed and while the food was not awful, it was just so-so. Service was fine. There was just nothing of our experience that would have led us to enthusiastically spread the word or long to return for another meal.

Went back on a second time with Mom and a Groupon in hand. The food was excellent Veal Lucia was a nice portion with a generous Caesar Salad and Mom had the Tilapia which they changed a bit to meet here dietary issues. Service was great. Only downside was the hostess who was not very welcoming when we arrived and barely smiled. Overall a good experience.

Tonight we had the Rustic Caprese which was a special app. Roasted cherry tomatoes, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, parmigiana reggiano, balsamic, fresh basil & toasted bread it was delicious. Forgot to take a pic, but we ate it all. Daughter had Chicken Parm which was good. I had Chicken a Sorrento, with the zucchini marinara, it was delicious. I really enjoy the atmosphere & the food.

When walking into the restaurant we thought the place was empty, ten as the maroon heavy curtains opened we saw a restaurant FULL of patrons. We knew why shortly after being sat at our table. The service was great(even got investment advice). Good was excellent!!! You can tell that everything was fresh! I got the scallop, shrimp and crabmeat pasta with vodka sauce. There was enough to eat there as well as take home. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Make sure you bring a bottle of wine with you!

Delicious menu selections, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere set this place apart! I enjoyed my friends graduation party here recently. The servers were so friendly I felt like I was visiting family. It was the best 4 course meal I have had in a long time in NJ! Even though it was a large party we had 4 entrée selections. I had the Chicken Sicilian dish that had spicy peppers, olives and tomatoes. I really enjoyed it but the Eggplant Parma that my friend ordered was something I may try again next time. I had one bite of hers and it was delicious and reminded me of my mother’s homemade eggplant.

Tessio: Can you get me off the hook, Tom? For old times’ sake? Tom: [shakes his head] Can’t do it, Sally. Ambiance: The décor pays homage to the Italian Mafia of yesteryear. I am not sure if young bucks these days even know how to pronounce ‘consigliere’? Sure, the décor is a little kitchsy but it is not too over-the-top. It is fun.(love the gun-lamps on the wall). Food: Very good to excellent. Nothing has ever been too over-salted or over-sauced. Their Sunday Gravy is not my favorite rendition but others in my party have enjoyed it(to each his own, right?). The Gnocchi is little pillows of love(especially the seasonal Pumpkin gnocchi). I’m usually a Mussels in white guy but I really enjoy their clams white, it is simplicity/bread dipping worthy broth. I once had a pork chop special here that was fantastic. Oh yah, the Polenta and Sausage is delicious! They do fish specials really well and they don’t skimp on lump crab meat offerings. Service and Pricing: The staff has always been professional and friendly. The pricing is reasonable/competitive. Complaints(minor). They will often have like 5 specials for the night(that is a good thing, I like variety). However, sometimes the server breezes through the specials too quickly and we forget what he/she said(would be nice if it was listed on paper). In the winter, the cold draft sometimes blasts through the entrance, it is best to sit as far away as possible. At your old location you served the best lunchtime Pulled Pork Panini sandwich(the ‘Colingo’), I miss him(RIP). Always looking forward to the next visit. It is BYOB, don’t forget to make a reservation.
