This is place is ok. $ 35 a night and has bathrooms and showers. I would never recommend someone going camping here because it’s more of a trailer park set up. If your in a tent you will hear golf carts, karaōke, and couples fighting at 3AM.

My husband and I have been coming to Monroe Bay for the last three years and LOVE it! We have our 33 foot trailer parked here, hooked up to water and sewer, electric, even Direct TV… ready for us every weekend with only 1 hour commute time. The community is very laid back, boaters, fishermen, crabbers, and just people looking for a quiet get away. It is a golf cart community and the Paradise Bay Restaraunt has delicious and affordable meals. All of the owners at this park and the restaraunt are fantastic. So if you are looking to keep your trailer, camper, pop up or whatever close to home this is your place! Come join in the fun!

This year they are putting some money it looks into the bath houses. Thats great! Some long timers have pulled out with many spots open. If you can get them to stick at a set price for 5 years, it is a good deal for somewhere semi-local you can get away to every weekend. The people who come here once or twice a year and just pull up and camp tend to be the ones who dirty the place up. Compared to any other campground along the Potomac that has quick waterside access to great fishing, this place would be my first pick.
