Employees/owner are ultra nice and helpful. Great deals. Probably the best liquor store I’ve been to.

Stopped in for my first time today although I’ve driven by it numerous towns. Great shop, super friendly staff and I think the owner war the one that walked me back to the wine section. Love the layout and they have wine tastings, I just missed today’s nu a few hours. I love that they’re green too! not sure exactly what all they’re doing, some sort of harnessing of sunlight is obvious if you park against the building.

Visiting from out of state. This is an outstanding liquor store with a huge selection of local beers and Colorado distilled spirits packed into a small space. Quality over quantity. Great and diverse liquor selection, strong on rye whiskeys(which is what I wanted) but also on gins and other whiskeys/bourbons. Best part about it was the owner/operator who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly — took a lot of time to talk about the different Colorado distilleries and liquors being produce. Excellent business, A+. Thanks!

The only liquor store my wife and I will go to. The owner and staff are the most helpful and always take time to show us deals and really cater to our needs. Prices are unbeatable. Literally no one has better prices on every form or liquor.

I received the worst customer service here from the owner Greg Huesgen. I purchased a 6 pack of Mikes Hard Lemonade, my girlfriends & I thought it was way too sweet/not good. I’ve never had a bad experience with alcohol so I went back into the store just to see if they would possibly exchange it. Greg said he didn’t know what it tasted like so he tried a drink(which he’s lucky I don’t turn him in for that). He could have simply said sorry we don’t do refunds or exchanges. But he went on & on how it’s not his fault & they only charge 10% more unlike 40% at other stores. Which is a lie! He said he would be at a loss, well no kidding but instead of having a happy customer you now don’t have a returning customer but also a bad review :/

We live on the southern end of downtown where good liquor stores are basically non-existent. This space seems to go on for days and boasts a HUGE selection of fine wines, spirits and beers — impressive local selection as well. Prices are super competitive. Don’t see what you want? Just ask — they’ll special order anything you want! Greggor, the owner, is usually around to point out what’s new and offer suggestions. He’ll even box up your bottles and carry them to your car. Great prices, selection and service!

I visited Downtown fine Spirits and Wines with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. Not only do they have a FANTASTIC selection and prices but the décor… AMAZING. I was in awe looking around at all the fancy furniture they had beautifully displaying their bottles. It was like being in a museum! The place just goes on and on, way bigger than it looks from the outside. It is set up unlike any other liquor store I’ve been to and was a breath of fresh air. We spoke with Greg, the owner for several minutes upon checking out, very friendly, outgoing, personable guy! I highly advise checking this place out!

After bemoaning the loss of Tejon Street Wine Shop, I was excited to read about a new wine store opening up in the Springs. I went into Downtown Fine Spirits and Wines hoping to find variety that is lacking elsewhere in the area. I was blown away. DFS&W has a monster selection, and it’s all beautifully displayed. As I was walking through the store, it felt like it just kept going… and going… and going. One entire room is dedicated to liquor, another section to beer(LOTS of GREAT beers), and the wine selection fills the remainder of the sprawling establishment. I saw everything from Bota Boxes to pricey Barolos, Montepulicanos to Malbecs, and everything in between. I found everything I was looking for, and lots of stuff I wasn’t. And, best of all, the prices are beyond reasonable. I picked up my favorite Torrontes for the same price I can usually find it at larger discount outlets, like . Downtown Fine Spirits and Wines is a welcome addition to the area, and I’m excited to see them grow even more as they finish unpacking boxes. I’ll certainly be adding them to my list of regular haunts in the dowtown area.
