the selection of wine is good and the place is clean — the guy there is such a troll its not funny.

This place has a very nice selection of wines and beer. Their prices seem to reflect current prices and do not seem to be overly inflated. Occasionally on Thursdays they also offer wine tastings. The only complaint I have is the odd customer service that can be a little bit off, or — strange I will say — the salesgirl is very out going and courteous though and knowledgable about the products at the store.

Convenient, friendly, neighborhood wine, beer & spirit store. Knowledgeable about their inventory, national brands and local. Military discount and no fuss about the servicedog or helping you to the car with your purchases. Excellent !!!

They have great wines reasonably priced, but terrible customer service. The owner appears to always be on some form of drug. This store is not worth going to, unless I have no other options.

Amazing wine selection. Excellent beers. Liquor that you want and some you should want. These guys know their stuff and can help you find something awesome. Try their own single barrel bourbon, but leave some for me.

I love this place! They have expanded and now have a great beer selection. The people who work there are all very cool and the guy who does the ordering will order you whatever you want, provided he can get it. I used to go to Cheyenne Trail because it’s closer to my house, but I haven’t been in there in months since I started going to Sovereignty. Definitely worth checking out.

This little strip mall has two gems, one on each end. Canyon Coffee on the South and Sovereignty Wines on the North. Came in looking for a sweet wine, sparkling wine, a good red wine and absinthe. They are finishing up a remodel and after coming off South Nevada and scary Jerry’s liquor store I was not expecting much. The man and lady working were helpful and friendly but even better — they know their wine. Prices were reasonable and they had some special wines. We were just visiting my home town to celebrate my Fathers 78th birthday but we managed to find two great spots I would visit often if I lived in the Springs. I am used to employees in California wanting to help in a wine store, which is usually code for sell whatever isn’t moving. Not in this case and I was trumped in my attempt to let the guy know I know wine. Visit and make a new friend, I have a feeling that relationship will lead to some great wine discoveries.

I felt the need to update this since Sovereignty’s expansion. It remains a great place to pick up wine or beer, and they still place a premium on customer service. The wine selection is still great, and now there’s an even better beer selection. This is always my first choice.

This wine store is located in a non-descript strip center on South 8th street. It carries a nice variety of wines from all over the world and the owners are very friendly and helpful in assisting in the selection of a wine.
