Extreme Pizza – N. Academy

Through the garden pizza was ok needed more seasoning or sauce. Great selection of toppings. Was better once I added pepper, salt, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Did like that there were multiple options when it came to veggie style pizza. Would have given it 3 stars but hand hygiene seemed to be a problem!

To update. The manager Carol confirmed no fraud occurred — my mom was refunded her money & given a free pizza upon her next order! She also told me the delivery people have been very nice! Thank you for taking care of this issue :-)

I ordered online and received my order within 25 mins (hotel). Unique menu + excellent pricing + very good pizza = 5 stars!

I ordered medium pepperoni which they charged me $ 13 something dollars just to find out they had special going on $ 9.99 for bigger pizza. What the heck? It would have been nice if they let he customer knows how to get the better deal. I don’t like to this

Their pizza is actually very tasty but good luck getting delivery in a reasonable time or for the right price. In fact, good luck with any interactions with anyone who works there (aside from the GM apparently).
The first time ordering from them, I went through the online ordering process only to learn that they don’t take credit cards online, you have to call the order in. So I call, the guy who answered the phone informed me that he has to multi-​task, so I had to repeat myself numerous times, and was frequently interrupted.
Over an hour later, the driver calls my boyfriend and asks about the gate code, saying he’s close by. 20 minutes later, the pizza still hasn’t shown up. He calls back, we find out that he has NO CLUE where he’s at and doesn’t know how to get to our apartment. By the time he finally shows up to our door, he states that he was given the wrong address. The pizza was good enough to make me decide to give them a 2^nd chance, which was a huge mistake.
Tonight, we placed an order online, called in to pay via credit card instead of cash, spent 12 minutes mostly on hold while the girl tried to figure out what to do and talk to other people, only to be given a different total than the one we were given online. She stated it was due to a delivery fee, but that fee shows up online as well. She’s given the total that appears on the online order and she says okay.
Over an hour after the payment is complete, we still don’t have pizza. My boyfriend called them to find out what was going on and found out that the food wasn’t even on the way yet. Approximately 30 minutes later, the delivery driver arrives and ⁴⁄₅ of the items are wrong. On the upside, we ended up with extra food but, of the 3 food items ordered, only 1 of them was correct. We received 2 pizzas instead of 1, which would usually be great except that neither of them was the pizza we ordered. Our 2 drinks were different than the ones we ordered, but at least they were still good drinks (vanilla cream instead of rootbeer). The only item that was right was the salad. This was after the order was repeated 3 different times and verified by an employee. Had everything else gone smoothly, I would have been a little less upset by the whole thing.
To top it all off, the receipt the delivery driver had was for $ 5 more than the online price and $ 3 more than the price initially given over the phone. The driver was told that we would not be signing the credit card receipt and he could just take the food back at that point. He said he would take care of it, that the charges would be waived.
Shortly after he left, the GM called to find out what happened. He is indeed waiving the charges and offered a free pizza in the future. However, no amount of free pizza will ever get me to order delivery from here again. If I’m in the area, I’ll consider picking one up.
Seems like they really need to get it together. I’ve read other reviews about wrong orders, missing items, wrong charges, false promises, etc.

We were in town for a short time and decided to try out this place! It was delicious! We has the spinach salad with the Asian dressing which was really good. We had the margarita type pizza (the first one on the veggie side) it was great! We also had the little cheese twists which were also delicious. The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Rude delivery driver, Very poor management?, no accountability for their actions. Was unable to get staff names. They even threatened me with calling the police if I ever came back, before they even asked what happened, the guy claiming to be the manager did not want to hear anything, at all.

Love the pizzas! I always eat the pepperoni and pineapple! Ingredients are always fresh and Ive always had great service from the girls who have help/​serve me!

Visiting Colorado Springs & picked up a delicious pizza from Extreme Pizza and received great customer service! The pizza was made fast and was very good! So was the salad. The employee offered me a special without me asking and the restaurant is clean and casual! Would recommend this place!

Very rude employees and awful establishment. They forgot my soda and would not give me a refund. Isn’t that stealing? I will never give them another penny.

Had a very bad experience here. Ordered a couple pizzas and they got my order wrong. The cashier girl was very rude when asked her to correct my order. Spoke with manager Jeff and he was also very rude and could tell he didn’t care at all about making my order right and providing decent customer service. Manager Jeff appeared to be inconvenienced by request to fix my order and to ask the cashier girl with tattoos and glasses to be more courteous to guests. Finally got the pizza and it was mediocre pizza with a VERY high cost. Will not be going back and will be sure to tell friends and family to stay away from this place!

We took my in-​laws over to this joint after reading positive reviews on Unilocal,however, I wasn’t impressed. The guys working were friendly, but not very helpful when we asked what they would suggest us to order (ie. I Don’t Know, it’s all Pizza), but they did get us a better price because one of the pizza’s we ordered as a medium, was the special for the day and was for a Large at a cheaper price. We then ordered two large pizzas, both came out hot and fresh. However, the pizza reminded me of a national chain, and I don’t really feel it was worth the higher price we paid for them.

My review is strictly based on the I would not order online from here ever again. I ordered online. When I received my confirmation it told me that it would be 90 – 150 minutes. I called the restaurant to cancel and they said that number was completely inaccurate, but that they couldn’t cancel my order and that I would have to call Gowaiter or
. I called gowaiter who then said they would have to call eat24. In other words, a total hassle to order online so just call. This review is not regarding the actual pizza itself.

Was put on hold for 10 minutes with no explanation. Called back a few times someone would pick up but not say anything. After calling in and speaking with the manager Jeff. He said it was an emergency. I explained how hard would it have been to just pick up the phone and say that. They were able to pick up the phone and place in on hold how hard would it have been to say we have an emergency please call back. Horrible service! This Jeff needs to work on his customer service skills.

Ordered a pizza tonight that took unbelievably long to arrive, showed up soggy and under cooked. Will not be ordering from here again.

I’ve had to start eating gluten-​free (due to celiac), and Extreme Pizza is now our go-​to place. They are so careful with their GF pizza. It comes in a box, not on a metal tray, so that there isn’t cross-​contamination, which I really appreciate.
The topppings are the same, as good as always. The GF crust is crispy, and has a good flavor. It is lighter and more airy than their regular crust, but holds up well under the toppings. It makes great left-​overs, too.
The rest of our family still orders their usual favorites (they love the «Paia Pie», which has pineapple, Canadian bacon and Mandarin oranges), and my husband and I can still share a salad together (we get the «Fresh Tracks»).
Our youngest always enjoys a chocolate chip cookie at the end of her meal, and I wish I could, too. It would be nice if they had GF desserts, but it isn’t a deal-​breaker.

Great pizza!!! BUT…
The happy hour is awesome! $ 2 draft beers every day of the week 3:00pm-6:00pm!
They have great specials to go along with your beer, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. As a proud new resident to the Springs I’m glad this place is close to home!

Pizzas is good. The service was okay, but the guy running the front seemed like he was having a blah day…

Easily the classiest pizza joint in Colorado Springs with some most excellent pizza options not only to make yourself, but to choose from.
Trust their Aveiro to be the tastiest thing your mouth has seen since the cool ranch Doritos locos taco.
Go for the pizza, stay for the game, have a beer (on tap), and love it!
