I had dinner and drinks with a friend who lived close by. The drinks are amazing and so creative! They have an extensive menu with a wide variety of fruit based drinks, beers, wines, and other mixed drinks. They even have adult milkshakes that are incredible — try the adult root beer float, trust me — sooooo good! The atmosphere of the place is super chill and eclectic. The décor is interesting and one of a kind, which I always enjoy personally. It has a lot of room so while I am sure it can get busy on the weekends, they definitely can handle it. The food was excellent! They have a lot of cool breakfast options that are different and tasty as eff! Their bacon options are insane — I got the black pepper and it was so so good! The staff was friendly, helpful, and great. They were a bit slow — meaning it took a while to get their attention for things and it was definitely not busy in the place — but other than that, no complaints. Great food, great drinks, great environment, friendly staff!

was here with my bmw club. we had the top area and was great. i had the porky omelet. was well made. my only advice is put some onion and pepper in the home fries. the coffee was typical farmer brothers and the service was speedy. they moved the naked picture from the front to the back … hehehe

WOW this place looks great considering what it use to look like before. We finally made a b-line into this place this weekend and it was worth our time. We came here yes ago when it had a different name and it was a shit-hole. Now they have cleaned it up. The food was really good for a bar. I had chicken-and-waffles and the only other place that was better was Phantom Canyon. And the Canyon has been around a long time where this is a newer business. I look forward to hitting this place up in the future.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The doorman asked to see all our ideas and we gladly handed them over, when I saw he was playing chess on his iPhone I told him lets play a game, he said umm absolutely not, I jokingly punched him in the arm and said awwww you meanie, he said get out of her immediately or I’m calling the cops. I was like wow over reaction, «I’m sorry I punched you in the arm, we love this place and connected with the owner last time we were here and I was just being playful, I’m sorry if I offended you but we’re out for my birthday and would like to have a few drinks at your establishment.» The doorman acted like he was frightened and stuttered that he was going to call the cops again. I again apologized and said were on our way. Please don’t try and joke around with the doorman as he does not have any sense of humor whatsoever. I hate to give this place a bad rating as we love the owner but this behavior was absolutely unacceptable. Please lighten up.

This place used to be so cool… Now it looks like a lame warehouse space. Went there yesterday looking for some lunch. Server said hi, then went on to two tables completely ignoring me. I left and went across the street. Lame.

Not a great experience, even with a gift certificate that covered our tab. Went for sunday breakfast, seems like a sad leftover of what this bar/restaurant used to be. They took out all of the booths in the front and replaced them with cheesy tables and uncomfortable metal chairs, and moved the Ms Muffins painting into the back bar area. Now for the food/drinks/service-I had read in different reviews how awesome the bloody mary is, so I ordered one. Not so much. How you could go wrong with simple ingredients(tomato juice+vodka+worcestershire sauce+tabasco) is beyond me, unless you are using a bottled mix and almost no vodka. All of the food(again simple ingredients-eggs, potatoes and bacon) tasted like it was cooked in old canola oil, on the dirtiest part of the grill. Had to ask for a single refill of coffee. Still cost almost $ 25 before the tip, with the bloody mary being ½ price.

Stopped by for a leisurely lunch after window shopping. Ordered the BLT just as the server(Rich) recommended. Wow. SO good. Fried mushrooms had just the right amount of breading and the perfect dipping sauces. Super yummy cocktails, including a big selection of champagne inspired cocktails referred to as Bubble Juice. I can’t wait to come back!

Just had the wheat beer they have on tap(forgot the name, but it’s like blue moon) and the BBQ Bacon Burger. Awesome combination! It has a great a sop here as well. The front area is more resturant then bar and the back part is more bar than resturant, but both areas serve food and drinks. I would completely recommend this place! Go there!

Mother Muffs has half price apps for NFL Sunday! They have all the games and great service. The drinks are poured well and the apps are great. Just be careful with their hottest sauce. Wow, our waitress was nice enough to bring me a spoon of ice cream to help.

Great food, great prices, great atmosphere! The reason I came here was because after quick Google search and found that they had stuffed French toast, one of my favorites. It’s hard to find good stuff French toast, and theirs hits the mark. I got that, my husband got the cinnamon roll(pretty good sized) and we split a bacon bowl. It came with toast and hashbrowns, and was the perfect amount for us to split plus our sweets. We didn’t partake in any of the drinks, but we were told there’s a rewards program that does include drinks. It’s definitely a place that should be tried!

Didn’t get waited on. My husband and I only had 30 min. We entered, we’re greeted but no service. The restaurant was not busy but servers were just talking with each orher. Disgusted with poor service. Walked out.

We are visiting the area today and came on by chance. My wife and I ordered different bloody Mary’s and they both were excellent. The morning after breakfast was big enough for both of us and was exceptionally delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in town

What a great place! We had awesome service courtesy of Jason, who recommended a beer that we LOVED and helped us order food that was really really good! We happened to come during Saturday Happy Hour(it had a different name but I can’t remember it now.) So we had the wings, which were great, but sadly did not come with carrots or celery. Which I find important if only because you want to believe there’s something healthy about ordering Wings. I had the pizza which was different, in a good way, kind of a zestier sauce, my husband had the green chili slopper type burger and the green chili was surprisingly tasty, not quite as hot as we like, but very good. Anyway… Great place! Very pleasantly surprised and we will definitely be back!

Pricey. $ 7 for a handful of bacon strips in a plastic basket? Also home to the dumbest choice of name ever. Who names a restaurant after their mom’s hoochie? They pride themselves on their Bloody Marys, so I ordered one and it was a huge letdown. The glass was full of ice, so there was not much else in it. Tasted very watered down. I’m not sure if there was any tomato juice in it. And for the price, I’d rather go to the make-your-own Bloody Mary bar at Over Easy.

Mother Muff’s catered to a large group of more than 30, and from what I understand, without a deposit or down payment. The service was excellent, offering a separate gathering area with its own bar, and recreational activities like billiards and shuffleboard. I was pleasantly surprised they even offered an abbreviated menu to the group in order to keep service efficient and smooth for everyone — and that menu included Chicken n’ Waffles, which, if you ask me, is pretty baller. Plenty of options from the taps, and very affordable compared to similar establishments I’ve visited. The place has a great saloon feel without overdoing it. Our server, Lance, was spot on with the orders and timing, constantly offering suggestions and friendly attendance. He made a big difference, and it was greatly appreciated. For having plenty of competition in this part of The Springs, MM’s delivered seamlessly.

Hit the re-opened Meadow Muffins for lunch. I know it has a new name, but every one I know still calls it Meadow Muffins. The place is definitely cleaned up and brighter some how. The décor has changed a bit, but still retains most of the funk-i-ness of the old place. Wife and I both had a ½ order of chicken wings. Mine hot, hers mild. They came to the table smelling hot and fantastic with a great vinegar aroma. Only problem I have with them is they are heavily breaded. I would like to see a choice between breaded and not. I had a 1554 and the wife had a champagne drink of some sort. The service, by the way was excellent. I had the slopper with green chile, jalepenos, and habanero cheese. It was good, not great, but I would order it again. The wife had a chicken sandwich she liked a lot. We looked at the breakfast menu and I am surprised there is no version of huevos rancheros, but the array of bacon meals cancels that out. I would like to return just to try some of the several Bloody Mary’s they list. It is a bit pricey, but not overly so. Mother Muffs is not Meadow Muffins, but that is entirely not a bad thing. We will return.

Strolling through OCC and saw that the old meadow muffins is now Mother Muffs. Thought to myself, self, let’s check this out. WAY cleaner and more open than the old establishment. Walked in and recognized familiar faces. Suzie behind the bar. Friend for a long time, love her! And then, Rob, the owner, walks out to my surprise. Haven’t seen him in a handful of years. Very cool. Rob gives us a tour of the place and it’s so much cleaner than it was before. I had come here several times when it was meadow muffins but now, way more clean, open and inviting! Service. It’s Rob’s staff. They’re great. Very attentive from the moment we walked in. Matt, always a presence and walking around checking on all the tables. Very friendly and helpful with explaining the new menu. Great selection of beers and champagne drinks. Didn’t know champagne was so diverse in the options of creating signature drinks. Well, they’ve got lots. A special menu for drinks and stuffs. Food. Where do I start. Recognizable pub fare on the menu, however, there was an INCREDIBLYCOOL surprise, BACON!?*%#%*!! Many different kinds of bacon. Who doesn’t love bacon?!? Even chocolate dipped bacon, SERIOUSLY!!! I had the Extreme BLT. Ingredients, a full half pound of bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle, mayo, Swiss cheese, on a jalepeño cheddar bun. So the description sounds good right?! WAITFORIT… it was CRAZYDELICIOUS!!! Thick cut bacon, lightly toasted/grilled bun, fresh produce and I ordered mine with FRESHCUT fries. Where do you get fresh cut fries at a pub?!? All reasonably priced at $ 9.99. I had to get the Chocolate covered Bacon. WOW! WOWI! One thing, present it on a white dish with a mint garnish and maybe some strawberry glaze on the plate. Presentation too, baby! Atmosphere, clean open inviting and still rustic Old Colorado City. Family friendly lunchtime. It seems as though the new place is rocking it out!!!

Really good breakfast food. I had a breakfast bowl made of bacon. Yeah, the bowl itself was made of BACON and it was smothered in gravy… Yumtastic! The kids had pancakes which were good. My wife had an omelette with hash browns. All the food tasted great. Service was friendly and prompt. The place was rustic but clean. The only knocks on the place were: 1. A little pricey at over $ 50 for the meal I described 2. Tables were slick(not dirty/greasy slick but the lacquer itself was slippery) so plates slid around when cutting food We’ll go there again. Did someone say BACON bowl?
