Great haircuts every time. I also like the beer and the scalp massage.
As Others may have stated, the turnover is a little annoying, however this last time I had the same gal three times in a row. Maybe they’re improving their turnover.

Great haircut and always very friendly and professional staff. My only complaint is that every time I go in I get a different stylist. Not sure why the high turnover rate, but I enjoy getting my haircut there.

Awesome staff! Awesome haircut! No complaints. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They made sure i was happy with my cut before i left. Offered me a very tasty beer which i cant remember the name. Overall this is well worth the cost. I will be going back. I was going to a cheaper end salon before which was fine but for the little extra money and all the additional extras they offer is well worth it

Best haircut place in the Springs. Sweet military/​police/​fire discounts make it even more worth the money. I dont trust anywhere else in the springs after my first trip here. Been going over a year after several years at Floyds. Anne is my go to.

I was very pleased with the haircut and the experience in general. The shop is clean and neat, and the wood-​paneled stations are a nice touch. Staff was friendly even though it was pretty busy. Ann cut my hair very well. Military discount was well-​appreciated. Would recommend over a big-​box shop any day.

When I called I informed them of the type of hair my boyfriend has, and asked if there was someone who would be able to give the cut we were looking for, she didn’t really acknowledge my concern, but said yeah they could do that. Well the proof is in the cut! It’s obvious to an untrained eye that there are sections of hair that were not «finished.» Not impressed!

This was a cool shop that I’ll definitely be heading back to. I usually get my hair cut at Carson, but was in the mood for a big boy haircut with scissors. The barber did not disappoint. You get a shampoo, conditioner, mini massage, and a drink including beer. I heard it’s good to have an appointment, but I walked in and sat down no problem. Military get a five dollar discount, which I just ended up throwing back as the tip. All in all, worth a shot if you’re looking for something a more off the beaten path.

The place looks good inside, the people were decently friendly, but I didn’t think the haircut I got was what I was expecting. I told the stylist exactly what I wanted, she cut it, I told her what was wrong, she tried to fix it, but didn’t. So I gave up. The only reason I gave this place two stars was the décor and the girl who waxed my eyebrows was hot! I went to this place based off Unilocal reviews and I think the other reviewers are a little off, or I’m just picky, but Buyer beware.

Not really a complaint, just a suggestion. Fancy place like this, given the cost, a piece of jerky should be included. This is a «guys barbershop», they need to man it up. Otherwise, very happy and they were quick.

The smaller touches made this haircut experience.
I expect most proper haircuts to be in the range of $ 20 – 25 for men, unless youre going for the fancy salon angle.
Not only did Rooster’s have a very reasonable $ 25 pricetag, the haircut included a neck shave, neck massage, shampoo, a hot towel.
Not to forget, the ever so hospitable options for beverages when you are seated for your cut. I personally went for the beer, and had a nice hoppy brewski.
And most importantly, my barber took his time with my haircut leaving me satisfied. He gave me advice for future styles and listened to all of my requests with my choice of hairstyle.
All in all, a great experience. Even the bluegrass-​ish music grew on me by the end, lol. It just fit the scene.

I’ve been here twice and both times was really happy with the services I’ve received. The extras — hot towel, beer, scalp & shoulder massage put it over the top. They take their time and I always leave feeling relaxed. One of the best shaves I’ve gotten, and the haircuts I’ve gotten have been top notch as well.

I never knew what I was missing by going to a hair salon instead of a barber! I thought $ 40 was a little steep for a haircut and beard trim; but then the hot towel came out, then the straight razor tightened my lines, and then I got a spa quality neck/​shoulder/​head massage.
Roosters combines meticulous attention to detail with caring staff (thanks Lonnie!) to provide the most authentic hair care experience around. I will be back and I will be telling my friends to shell out a few bucks and treat themselves to a vacation like haircut!

I’ll start by saying that I didn’t actually receive a haircut, as I had to leave for work and had not made a reservation. I’m in search of a local barbershop that evokes the feeling of a good men’s grooming experience. The environment is every bit that, from the music and books to the booths themselves. What dissapoints me is only 2 barbers staffed on the Saturday before Easter. I was told 45 minutes (ok) but at the mark they had 2 more names ahead. And no male barbers? I’m gonna give this place another shot and will update my review but for now I am leaving a little disappointed in the 1st impression.

Great Service! My groomsmen and I went there for a shave on the morning before my wedding. They had snacks and beverages ready for us. Would highly recommend.
