Well in my personal experience, I think you have to know someone in there to get good service. I sat there waiting for 15 minutes there was nobody greeting you or taking names. I finally took of after a guy that came after me and got service within 2 minutes (he could of had an appointment who knows) maybe went on a bad day. Oh well… the place look great tho.

I wish I could say I was impressed, but it was basically a big let down. Based on the other reviews I thought taking my boyfriend here would be a safe bet… Unfortunately the best part of this experience was the fact that we were a walk in and he got a seat immediately. My boyfriend got a haircut and a beard trim, the haircut was fine, but her attention to his beard was frightful. I know I could have done a better job, and obviously that’s a problem. (There were a couple of areas on his neck that she completely missed, and stray hairs that should have been trimmed up along the jawline.) She was also texting while working on him… I don’t understand this behavior. Attention to detail should be at the forefront when doing hair, facial and otherwise, and sadly this barber missed her mark. We’ll be going elsewhere next time he’s due… Sorry Aguilar’s, I wanted so badly to love you!

Pros: Was able to walk in. Lots of barbers to utilize. Good products that I enjoyed walking out smelling like. Several tvs in waiting room, but also a zillion magazines. Good vibe in there.
Con: really my only disappointment is pretty across the board with most barbers. I don’t need a style, it’s just a buzz cut. So I never understand why I’m paying the same as my full hair-​headed counterparts.
Cost: $ 17 (unless you’re under 18).

Found them on Unilocal.My son needed a haircut before leaving town. The shop is clean and contemporary. Everyone was friendly. They were very efficient and my son loved his hair cut.

I thought of trying Aguilar today. After a long wait Tony waved me to a chair. Then he took a call on his cell. For four minutes he chatted about inane issues while I waited. I got up and left. What happened to the customer is number one, or even «I’ll call you back»?. Poor customer service from Tony and Aguilar. They don’t even have seats, they have sections of old bleachers!!!

I took my 12 year old son into to Tony after a HORRIBLE haircut and Tony made his hair look GREAT!!! Sweetest man, best barber in Colorado Springs! Definitely going to make this our barbershop! Couldn’t be HAPPIER!
