I stayed here for a week and loved it. Good Cleanest room I’ve had in a long time. Spacious rooms. Nothing was cramps and the desk/work area was far better than most being a full desk with overhead cubbys and storage area. Adequate parking. Never once came back from work after 6 and not easily found a spot to park right by the door. Extremely friendly staff, probably the best I’ve experienced. Rosa from house keeping was awesome, so far above and beyond it was incredible. She always had a smile and asked me how everything was. She made lots of recommendations about the local area. Never had this level of service. Pet friendly. They had dog waste baggies in the walking area. Fair pet fee. I was charged $ 50 for an entire week. That’s a great price. Bad — These are just me nit picking as I always try to find something that could be improved. Black carpet in pet friendly hotel not ideal. Breakfast was just ok-Toaster didn’t work but was fixed/replaced the next day, muffins removed from wrapper and chilled making dry and hard, very limited options. On weekends the muffins were usually left in the wrapper making them far fresher, however if you didnt get there early they were all the same. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I hope that the management knows what a tremendous asset Rosa is.

This hotel is very nice if you’re looking for a place to stay close to Garden of the Gods. The PROS: The young man at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful when checking in. The rooms are clean, modern and have fully equipped kitchens! The bathroom looks like my college dorm room bathroom with a cute blue dot shower curtain and they give you all the small amenities! There is an outdoor pool: we came here on 4⁄25 and it wasn’t open so I can’t comment on it. The breakfast has a number of things to pick from: B&G, Hard boiled eggs, Yogurt, muffins and a variety of cereals! The CONS: Bed is small and hard as a rock. The AC in our room made the craziest noises throughout the night(a consistent tapping noise), you can hear the people above you — it’s def. Not a sound proof place. Previously I had rated this place at a 4 now I will gladly give them 5. So here’s why: In addition to my review: I forgot a very expensive necklace in the room we stayed in. The maid, Summer, found it and the hotel immediately called my husband and told him. First off honesty is hard to find these days! To have a genuine staff and honest people working for your business truly makes up for a hard bed and a crazy AC! Thank you so much! I’d definitely stay here again & recommend it to anyone staying in Colo Springs overnight.

Really nice studio with a kitchenette. Couldn’t ask for nicer staff. Really convenient location close to the University Center Village shops and restaurants and UCCS.

Our room was great! The new appliances really made the room shine. Also, the housekeeping staff was simply amazing! However, three concerns with the property… 1) Having to walk through the«smoke pit» every day to get to the lobby/breakfast was completely unacceptable. When I pointed out that it was also against state law and asked them to kindly move it away from the door I was told«that’s where the owners want it.» I don’t appreciate having to cart my 4 kids(to include a newborn) through the clouds of smoke just to eat breakfast. The attitude was complete crap too. 2) The breakfast nook was a joke, especially for a hotel of this size. You should not advertise breakfast as being included when one can barely get in and out of the room. Once you get into the tiny room, you’re lucky if you don’t have to wait forever for them to restock the milk… or bagels… or pretty much anything you might like as the room is so small and the crowds are so large, the food is gone almost instantaneously. This hotel’s breakfast area is dire need of a redesign/expansion. To accommodate the two buildings(3 floors each), it needs to be at least 3 – 4 times the size it is today. If Marriott is not willing to properly invest in expansion, they should immediately stop claiming this hotel comes with free breakfast. It’s only free if you are willing to wait… and you’ll most likely have to take it to go as there won’t be any seats available. 3) One luggage cart for 2 buildings… each with 3 floors. Really? We stayed at the Residence Inn in Durango… there were carts everywhere. This property mgt should take a trip out to Durango to learn a few lessons. Breakfast there was amazing! Luggage carts were plentiful! You didn’t have to expose yourself to cancer just to enter the building. Bottom line… rooms at this Garden of the Gods location are great… very nice. Housekeeping staff was amazing. Breakfast gets an F. Overall hotel mgt gets an F.

During our road trip to Colorado we stayed here after booking on Priceline. The room exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we were looking for. Because we were traveling in a group of 4(my Mom, sister, husband, and myself) the 2 bedroom suite was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. In the morning we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with make your own waffles, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, coffee, and juices. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is awesome! It’s like having your home away from home! The front desk staff is especially kind, and since they are all locals they can help you plan a great day-trip to any of the local attractions. The rooms are all suites(either studio, one bedroom, or two bedroom), and they all have kitchens(with refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, dishware, cookware, and flatware) so you can travel with children easily. There is a pool(no jacuzzi), and a outdoor eating area with a BBQ so you can entertain if you are traveling with friends or family. I really enjoyed everything about this hotel… like I said: it’s like having your own home/apartment in Colorado Springs!
