Extremely poor customer service from the employees to the district manager whom I was informed would give me a call over a week ago regarding an unprofessional employee. I still haven’t received a call after following up with customer service twice.

This store is clean, but could use some sprucing up. Customer service is great. I was looking for a zero gravity chair and the cashier looked up zero gravity chairs at several locations for me.

Clean store. Usually quiet and only one or two cashiers working. I love finding the products I use at a discount price. The clearance of seasonal items rock! I usually just buy snacks, home décor & cleaning items.

The big lots in Glen Burnie is not as clean, but the prices are a lot better. I was not really impressed with the staff either. Maybe I was just not feeling the BL vibe; I was not impressed with this big lots. All of the other Big Lots seem… better by comparison. I will go back to see if it was a bad day.

My co-worker told me about this place. I love this place. It’s like upscale dollar store…

I love this place! If quality is not an issue, then you’ll like BL too! It’s like an upscale dollar store… With furniture I mostly go there for cleaning supplies and nick nacks. I’d only buy snack foods there… I’d stay away from all other foods. I love it though and was excited when it opened!

I’ve heard a lot about how great Big Lots are in other states, so I was happy when one opened up where the old Comp USA used to be in Columbia Crossing(Dobbin Road, where the Target is the anchor). I also got a 20% off your whole purchase coupon for joining some mailing list on their website, so kids and mother in tow, off we went for some discount shopping fun. Meh, it was no good. Xmas shelves picked over all that was left were empty boxes, a lot of expired or soon to be expired food/snacks with questionable provenances, and tired, sad, stained furniture. Bought a few washcloths and some plastic bags labelled«Special Cheese keeping bags» and(in smaller letters) «Made in India». Got them home. Yellow ziplock bags, but of even thinner plastic than ziplock. Ok. For great bargain hunting(and a cleaner store), I prefer Ollies, a bit further up 175 in the strip mall euphemistically labelled«Columbia East»(actually Jessup) next door to the excellent MOMs and around the corner from the Monster Mini Golf with the horrible customer service.
