I won’t be coming here again… it’s just not for me. The food was okay — but I think the prices are for the 50’s décor, which is very ‘corporate’ and un-inspired. I didn’t recognize any of the songs playing over the PA, and the staff doesn’t dress or act like they’re in the 50s — so what’s the point? The burger was greasy and unseasoned… and the cooks need to learn something about proportionality(just because I asked for pickles, doesn’t mean I want 9 pickle chips on my burger.) The sweet potato fries were good and the service staff was nice.

Cheeburger is a burger restaurant that I will visit not because I am a burger fan. It’s because I enjoy eating the french fries and onion rings from this place! The half basket is probably my favorite menu item and usually I get myself to order a burger as well. The menu items are cooked to order so there usually is a wait but its worth it. I enjoy the batter on the onion rings so much I purchased some from inside the restaurant but they didn’t turn out the same at all. I tried multiple times, but kept messing up somewhere. Anyhow, the burgers at cheeburger offer a plethora of toppings and various pattie sizes from thin to XXL. The restaurant also offers tasty fresh machine spun milkshakes. The seating inside has that old pre 1960s feel with aqua blues and bright pinks. It may be out of tune for 2016 but it definitely creates a distinct feel. Each time I go, the server is always good and the food is too. Except, the restaurant itself is never really packed. That could occur because the prices tend to be a little bit pricier than other chain style burger establishments. Cheeburger doesn’t have to worry as long as they keep my half basket on the menu and don’t decrease the portion sizes or change the recipe. I will definitely find myself stopping by from time to time.

The staff is super friendly. The food is good diner style burger food. The environment is friendly and bright. Service is quick and portions are on point. The small shake is big enough trust me. The medium fries can easily serve 3 or 4 people. Kids love it.

I come here about once a month and my kids really like it a lot especially the milkshakes. The food is ok nothing special but they do give you a lot of fries in there large order which the whole table can share. Very reasonable in price.

I’m not a big fan of the food, but I bring my little one here for the peanut butter milk shakes. Stopped by yesterday and sat in. The waitress was super friendly and the shakes were amazing as usual.

Service was great. Burgers would have been great if they were cooked to temperature. Ordered two mediums, both came out well-done and dry. Diet Pepsi also tasted off, kind of weak, kind of flat. In the end, I left pretty disappointed.

Ordered two mediums burgers because i didn’t see a Medium Rare option. First burger showed up medium rare, so I thought there Mediums were actually medium rares. Second burger was on the medium to medium well side. So they don’t take temps. Even with a very pink burger it lacked any kind of flavor. The burger looked to be preformed by a factory. The grind is very fine, not a good sign. With a very fine grind, well done is really the only option, but if its well done then it should at least be smashed which it’s not. Advice to owners, change the source of the beef. Grind in house course and hand form, if that’s too much trouble then at least smash the burgers to bring out some kind of flavor.

One star for their service. But for their food. I wouldn’t give anything. I’ve heard some pretty mixed reviews about this place. But I wanted to give it a try. We first walked in and was a little whelmed with the whole menu. So many toppings. Too many choices. So we decided to get the pounder. And a classic burger. Pounder(which I told him not to get because it sounds so ridiculous) very dry. Lacked favors. Way too big. Classic burger. Extremely dry and burnt. Everything was falling out of the burger. I got the«sautéed mushrooms» no favors at all. Matter of fact, didn’t even looked sautéed. It looked like they chopped up a bunch of mushrooms and threw them on there. I also asked for guacamole on the side. Guac tasted so fake. Not fresh at all. Fried mushrooms. Lacked even more flavors than all of them. Again, seems like they just straight fried some mushrooms. No care for the batter or anything. Wasn’t even crispy. Loaded fries. Probably the only thing I enjoyed. Fries with chili cheese and jalapeños. Chilli was pretty good. Jalapeños spicy. Def recommend. Root beer float. YUMMY. Their ice cream was delish! Def recommend. I personally like Coke floats more. Overall. Probably will only go for the shakes. And nothing else. Sorry!

I had reservations for a party of 20 following a birthday celebration at Sky Zone. Everything was confirmed with Joe and the Owner, Aaron. To my surprise, we arrived on time and the Owner had given our table away 15 minutes prior to our arrival. I was Levitt! to say the least. The Owner didn’t try to correct his mistake and the place was packed. No accommodations were made for us and due to the large number of guest in my party we couldn’t find reservations on such short notice anywhere else. Half our party left and my 9 year old was very upset. This place has poor Customer service and Poor Management Skills. We drove all the way from Waldorf Maryland and this was such a waste. I would never recommend this location with the Owner Aaron Benjamin to anyone. I wouldn’t have given the one star if I didn’t have to.

This place looks like a quaint little throwback to yesteryear diners oozing with personality. From the outside at least, inside it is simply a small fast food type chain with lackluster food and little personality. This was my first time eating at a cheeburger cheeburger. I can’t say I left feeling all that impressed. The oreo shake was delicious, but the cheeseburger was a huge disappointment. When you include a product in your name, it better be the best or close to the best product you serve. These left a lot to be desired. And why does it seem weird to have ketchup and mustard placed on my burger? Thanks for including them on the table, but any self respective burger joint should know how much ketchup and mustard most people want. Somehow they know the correct proportions for 20 to 30 other toppings, but the basic staples of ketchup and mustard eludes them? Seriously?! Fries were bland and unremarkable. I was happy to see that they offered a 50⁄50 basket of onion rings and french fries. Great for people like me who want both. Another small gripe is the menu setup. You can order your burger a few different ways with fries on the side for more or a platter with a standard sized burger for a set amount with more food. Why can’t they have a combo setup where you pick the burger, fries, and drink for one price? No need to make it more difficult or expensive than it needs to be. I left cheeburger cheeburger enjoying the shake but thinking I’d rather visit a five guys for a quality cheeseburger and fries experience for around the same price.

I was sort of disappointed with my experience here, to be honest. I had heard of this restaurant for many years and my parents seemed to remember it fondly. However, after eating there, I am not certain how they have lasted as long as they have. The food was pretty bland, and while it wasn’t BAD, it wasn’t something I would return for either. I give them props for offering lots of options to top their burgers and lots of different sauces to dip fries in, there was something to be desired when it came to the beef patties. It just tasted like something you might expect from a barbeque where the meat is of below average quality and the seasonings are few.

This is a cool little spot that has extremely delicious milkshakes! However if you are looking for a delicious burger this is not the place to seek it. My wife and I ordered semi serious burgers and was asked how would we like them cooked, we were surprised to be asked this in a little burger shop like this, but o well since you asked medium well! Welp we didn’t get medium well to say the least, we got more than well done of meat that taste like it had McDonald’s quality. The quality of the meat is poor and they should do better, especially if you are going to ask me how I would like it cooked. The loaded fries were good and the fried pickles were slightly better than ok. We will return here for the milkshakes. O and the waitress was pleasant and attentive!

I visited this location for the first time tonight at 6:30 as part of a group of seven girls and 10 adults. Having never eaten at Cheeburger Cheeburger before, I was under the impression that it was a fun cross between Johnny Rockets and Silver Diner. I envisioned lots of chrome everywhere, peppy servers, old school diner food, and an upbeat mix of 50’s and 60’s music. Yeah, not so much. Cheeburger Cheeburger is boring, almost painfully so. Seating is pretty minimal, so we were seated at two tables because there was no single table large enough to accommodate our group. Totally understandable, but problems arose when the server couldn’t remember which orders belonged to which table. Mass confusion reigned for a few minutes while we sorted out the burgers, fries, onion rings, and drinks. For a restaurant with the word«burger» in the name, the burgers are so uninspired and dull. The beef patty itself is crumbly, thin, and strongly resembles Burger King in taste and appearance. All of the condiments are sparsely applied with the exception of the onion, which comes in the form of six or seven overwhelming, thick-cut rings that completely dominate the supposed main attraction. The fries are the best part of the meal. I got a good look at at least 10 orders of fries at my table and they were uniformly brown and reasonably crispy. Service was virtually nonexistent until the time came to pay the bill. Drinks were refilled once, only upon request, so it was a thirsty evening. Fortunately, the gross stickiness of the bathrooms will allow you to appreciate the lack of drink refills. I don’t expect a four-star dining experience at a suburban shopping center burger place, but it’s called Cheeburger Cheeburger. It needs to at least do burgers right.

Ordered cheeseburger with grilled onions, lettuce & tomato. Fries for the table & a medium order of onion rings. Burger was just OK. Meat was crumbly & bland. Very poor quality of beef. Fries were average but onion rings were pretty good. Overall the food is over rated…5 Guys does it much better.

The service was great but my burger was terrible. I love cheeseburgers and waited patiently for my cheat day to try one from Cheeburger Cheeburger. I am so disappointed. My medium burger was overcooked and had no taste or seasoning. The only thing I could taste was my fried onions which should be chopped more and my jalapeños.

Cheeburger used to be a great place to go for a shake and burger, but after my most recent visit I’m not shocked they’ve all pretty much gone out of business. We were seated relatively quickly at a well worn table and our server stopped by to say he’d be over in a minute. Shortly thereafter the server came over and introduced himself and proceeded to hover and smile fakely at us. After explaining we needed a few minutes as we had JUST gotten our menus, he said okay and then walked away, glancing/beaming at us from a corner. It was a bit uncomfortable with him staring as he was. After a minute or two, we were ready to order, so we tried to flag him down, but he kept avoiding our table. It took over 15 minutes to get him to come back and take our order, even though he wasn’t actively serving anyone else/taking orders. I ordered a burger and a shake and my friend ordered a salad. The waiter then made passive aggressive remarks about her not ordering a shake for several minutes until I curtly said«She doesn’t want a shake, no thanks.» I get the upsell, but the guy was borderline menacing after we said no, not cool. The food came and it was mediocre at best. The shake was pretty good, but the burger was small and overly greasy and really not worth the price when I’ve had better from fast food joints. The salad came out pretty good I’m told. Don’t bother stopping by here unless you want a mediocre meal and a smiling server threatening you if you don’t buy his shakes.

I was having a big milkshake craving last night and then a light bulb went off in my head — Columbia has one of the remaining Cheeburger locations in Maryland! I used to really enjoy Cheeburger back in the day, but slowly their popularity seemed to wain and eventually the Owings Mills and Hunt Valley locations closed. Hungry for some easy food and a good shake I convinced my fiancé to check this location out! This Cheeburger had everything I love about the chain — quick, easy, no frills American food and an adorable 50s theme! I am a sucker for retro themed places, so I’m all about the cheesy décor! They really specialize in their burgers, although the menu was getting a little«fancy», now offering things like fried pickles and breaded mac & cheese wedges. I opted for the smallest burger on the(adult) menu, which was ¼ lb. It was clearly a handmade patty which was seasoned well, and because I asked for extra pickles they brought me a little cup of sliced pickles on the side(yay!) You can customize the burgers to whatever you’d like, and almost all of the toppings are no extra charge above and beyond the cost of the burger. The burger doesn’t come with a side, though, so fries or onion rings are extra. My fiancé got the«fringles», which are a combination of both. I tried a bite and I will say I’m not a big fan of the onion rings — they taste beer battered and greasy and there was very little onion actually involved. Also on every table there’s a signature Cheeburger zesty seasoning which is good, but is very clearly just a mixture of salt, pepper and garlic powder. The milkshake menu is expansive and overwhelming. You can combine flavors and some of them are pretty intense. I opted for a Snickers milkshake, which was awesome and had lots of Snickers pieces which made my gluttonous night a happy one! My milkshake was definitely a little bit too thin, though, almost as if it had melted in the kitchen or was sitting out for just a little bit too long. Come here for a fun night if you care more about the fun atmosphere(or milkshake selection) than the quality of your food! A great place for kids!

Came for a milkshake and left full and delighted after said milkshake! The restaurant was upbeat and fun. My biggest gripe was the filthy bathroom. The sink had funk all around it and it needs a good cleaning overall! The location was very cold, many customers asked for heat to be turned up. The servers were fine but not overly friendly.

One of my favorite places to eat in Columbia. Great food. Great music. Family friendly. This place is popular on Saturday with all the kids and you had to wait but we’ll worthwhile. Friendly staff. The manager stopped by to see how it goes on. Overall worthy of a stop. One last thing. The French fries are spot on here.
