Service at the bar was excellent, and the food was delicious. Will definitely eat here again.

Everything I’ve had from here has been delicious! I order their 4 cheese ravioli and ask for pink sauce instead of the pesto and it’s incredible! The eggplant parm is also fantastic! The service has always been friendly. I just wish that their curbside carryout was a little faster and that I could prepay to make it even smoother.

Appetizers were profoundly good. The pasta was surprising just very normal. The ambiance is great for business or family dinners, and the service was beyond! A tad on the expensive side but willing to go again.

Hubby and I went here on a Friday evening — our second date night at this location. We had a last minute change of plans and booked a reservation on opentable. Not sure it made a difference because we had to wait, but only 10 minutes which was fine. The vibe was great, vibrant, just as before. We were tucked in a booth with a view of the bar. I ordered the shrimp fra Diablo which was great. My husband had a special of risotto which he enjoyed, and even better, it came with a take home classic pasta. The food came quickly, but not before we filled up on the bread — we were so hungry, and those ciabatta rolls were warm and good. But I’m really giving this 5 stars for the service. Our server Natasha was the best! She was attentive without being pushy, and took really good care of us.

Well, «semi-upscale» says it all. While they can substitute veal into the chicken saltimbacca upon request, that does not mean they can master one of the easiest Italian dishes around. Meanwhile, the two other dishes sat near the freezer waiting for the veal to jump(for the uninformed, that is a cross language pun). However, they seem to be gracious about it, and accept that a few in every hundred actually know the food and expect a close approximation. Given the vast number of uninformed in the restaurant, I would estimate our dissapointment is but a small cost. Also, only a few in here read Unilocal. Risotto is slow cooked by the way, in a pan with constant attention. Just sayin. We also arrived early for a reservation and were seated 15 mintues late.

Initially disappointed in the wait time, however as you can imagine this is a popular restaurant management acknowledged oversight. Review increased from one star to 3 stars as the restaurant is genuinely good.

This is the smallest Maggiano’s location Ive been to. So plan ahead for long lines and a wait. Service is decent. Food was just ok. I liked the Rigatoni D. The bread was stale that provided. Didnt like the Eggplant Parm and the Primavera Pasta. Wine was overpriced. 3⁄5 I like the Tysons Corner location much better,

Tonight was great. I had the catcher in the rye which was a perfect cocktail with one large cube of ice. The chopped salad was phenomenal. Tons of crispy prosciutto and a great dressing to Boot. We had the tenderloin medallions with mashed potatoes and the pasta with chicken and ricotta meatballs. Both dishes were great. The only downside is… this place serves heavy food. Like high in caloric intake heavy. The restaurant knows this which is why they happily serve lighter versions of the dishes. Granted the Lighter fare my not be as divine but we are still talking great food at a reasonable price. Our waiter ryan was too notch tonight, truly.

This place it’s amazing I think it’s the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been. The staff is very nice, polite and price is affordable. Me and my husband had a great time spending our date night there. Thank you

It’s a chain restaurant, and an over-priced one at that. All of their food, like all other chain restaurants, comes from Gordon Food Services. Then it’s microwaved. I ordered take-out, everything was lukewarm, tasted very microwaved and bland, and they also forgot one of my entrees. Side dishes were tiny, and a ridiculous $ 5.95 each. One of the side dishes I ordered was the mashed potatoes, and they were literally instant mashed potatoes without any seasoning. I would definitely not dine here, even if it was free(I had a gift card).

Dining facility — Huge size dining room and extremely clean. Has a separate to go order & pickup counter. Food — A wide variety on the menu. Food was delicious! I ordered the veal parmesan w/regular noodles(pic below). 3 generous pieces of veal w/a good amount of spaghetti pasta. Definitely and expensive menu to choose form next time. . Service & Staff — Very friendly, and professional, and attentive staff. GRADE — A

Maggiano is over rated Italian. Price is much higher than Olive Garden. At other Italian restaurant you can pay low and get the same Italian food.

Came here for lunch for the very first time and had a wonderful experience! My waitress was on top of her game and the chef even came out to give me some complimentary fried zucchini with lemon aioli! The lemon aioli was sooo good that I googled the recipe before I left! I’m addicted to bread, oil, and balsamic so that was a plus. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms which were pretty good as well. For my entrée o got the lasagna which came with another pasta to take home and I chose the baked ziti. For dessert I got the sample size of the tiramisu and the butter cake. It was a lot of food that I couldn’t finish and had to take home! Such a great deal for your money. And it all tasted amazing! Great job and next time I’ll be sure to come back with a large group for all that food!

I generally dislike chain restaurants. Magliano’s is an exception. I’m no expert on Italian food — but I do know when I like something. I LOVE their food. Every time I’ve gone, the service has been spot on. The manager stopped by to check in — and it wasn’t a «fly by» — we enjoyed his visit and noted his genuine concern for our experience. This time — we ordered Bruschetta and calamari for the table. I could have been happy eating those just as my meal. Filling, LARGE portions, and very flavorful! I ordered the Rustic Chicken and Shrimp Al Forno. OMG … so well prepared, flavorful, and wow — what a large portion. Enough for two meals! Shared cheesecake and lemon cookies for desert. Perfection. We gave a corporate office in the same neighborhood. Looking forward to a trip back!

An update: the atmosphere is semi-dressy casual = while they will serve you in flip flops, you might feel more comfortable wearing pants. I love all the details. as soon as you step through the door the tiles are retro, then you walk into the dining area and are transported into an old school, classy restaurant. The décor is like an old, classy family establishment… Large scale photos on wall, Frank Sinatra esque music & low, yellow lighting. Service is good and friendly as always

I’ve always felt that Italian restaurants were a bit overpriced and have the tendency of picking other dining options over Italian ones. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Maggiano’s and did not regret my decision to give that restaurant a chance. Like most other Italian restaurants, Maggiano’s strength lies in its décor. At the time of my visit, its interior was nicely decorated for the holidays and had very comfortable seating. I would consider it a cozy place for a romantic date cozy dinner with family or friends, if it was a little less crowded and noisy. After being seated, we were presented with a complimentary dish of tomato topped with mozzarella to welcome us as new Maggiano’s customers. The tomato mozzarella appetizer was simple, yet surprisingly delicious! Wanting to get the most value for our money, we decided on the Marco’s Meal for Two, in which we were able to choose any appetizer, flatbread, or two side salads, two classic pastas, one dessert, PLUS two classic pastas to take home. Four dishes of pasta, an appetizer, and a dessert was such a great deal for $ 40! We ordered the crispy zucchini fritte as our appetizer, which was fried to perfection. The fresh zucchini provided a perfect balance for the crispy, fried exterior. We ordered the fettuccine alfredo and the baked ziti as our main pasta dishes. Unfortunately, we made a mistake while ordering — the fettuccine alfredo did not come with chicken, while the light fettuccine alfredo was the one that came with meat.(How is it possible that the less calorie, lighter version of the dish has meat while the heavier version doesn’t?) However, both dishes were tasty nonetheless. I probably wouldn’t pay full price for the two dishes, but considering that the deal came with appetizer, dessert, and pasta dishes to go, it was pretty worthwhile. For desert, we settled on the double chocolate brownie served with a side of ice cream. A perfect ending to a perfect Italian dinner! The service was helpful and attentive throughout the dinner. Ordered the filet mignon to go as I was working late and the mall was the closest place that had an abundance of food options. The steak was great and cut like butter(as expected) — I wouldn’t say it was Ruth’s Chris tier, but it wasn’t too far from it(though the price was similar). The garlic mashed potatoes I ordered for a side could have used a touch more garlic — they were rather bland — but not necessarily bad. The service was very polite, but a bit slow. They ushered me into a carry out room to await for a person to look up my order, but after about 10 minutes, no one came, so I went back out to the hostess and she personally checked on it for me. After this, the food came out. All-in-all, a decent carry out experience. I’d give it a go again and maybe try sitting down next time.

Took my mom here for her birthday last week and we were not disappointed. From the time we got there until the time we left the staff was amazing and made our trip enjoyable. The menu is the perfect size with a ton of selections. If you get a classic pasta then you get one to go. Can’t beat two pastas for $ 13. I got the Alfredo with shrimp and my mom got the ziti. Both serving sizes were huge! When we got our goodie bags it was like we left with 6 meals. I would def recommend going here. Definitely a few steps up from Olive Garden.

I went to Maggiano’s Little Italy as part of a bachelorette celebration on 10÷23÷15. I had been to Maggiano’s before but never in Columbia, MD. The atmosphere and food was what I have come to expect with the brand. If you’ve been to one Maggiano’s you been to them all in terms of ambiance. Although, the food was good; it was not excellent and to be frank I have had better food at Maggiano’s in the past. The reason I am bumping up my rating from what I would generally give a three stars(in terms of the quality of food) is the service at this Maggiano’s was outstanding. The staff from the moment we arrive to taking pictures at the end of the night made everything seem special. I never felt rushed. I also have to commend the staff for being able to give everyone in our party of 8 separate checks without any trouble. In a nutshell if you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion in Columbia, MD Maggiano’s is a solid choice in terms of consistent food and outstanding service.

It’s been more than a decade since I dined in any of the restaurants in Columbia Mall!(Tomato Palace for high school homecoming!) I had no idea so many new restaurants had opened since — Season 52? Zoe’s Kitchen? Since parents were craving for something more traditional, I decided to take them to Maggiano’s. Although we came during Howard County’s restaurant week($ 15 prefix lunch — sandwich/salad, lemon cookies/chocolate bites, and one pasta entrée to take home), we decided to share Marco’s meal for 2 aka one of the best deals ever! Appetizer + 2 pasta entrees + dessert + 2 more pasta entrees to take home for $ 39.95. In addition to their infamous generous portion, what normal two ppl really eat that much food in one sitting? After sampling their zucchini frittes in a Springfield brunch Unilocal event, I was excited to make my parents’ taste bud sing. But instead we were given calamari frittes. Since my parents love calamari, we decided to avoid the trouble and kept the dish. Although the appetizer was good, it was not memorable and definitively didn’t come close to the zucchini. Crispy, juicy parmesan crusted zucchini with lemon aioli — I’m sorry I allowed calamari to take your place(in my stomach). Mom’s lasagna — still as good as I remembered! There was no question that we would order another to take home with us! Fettuccine Alfredo — somewhat flavorless to be honest. Wasn’t particularly crazy about the chopped asparagus in the sauce — it left a strange after taste. I would skip and get another mom’s lasagna instead. Apple crostata with vanilla ice cream — throughout my lunch date with my parents, my husband was texting me expressing how jealous he was to be missing out on the Maggiano’s apple crostata! If I were my husband, I would be jealous too — even the crust alone was worth mentioning — out of the world delicious! Service was outstanding — Elizabeth was friendly and attentive — took her time to explain the menu, refilled our bread basket 3 times!, and even reminded us of the $ 10 Eclub offer! Overall — would definitely check out Maggiano’s again especially with a larger group(their ayce family style offer sounds like another ridiculous deal!) — zucchini frittes — have no fear, my stomach will return!
