There are great, unique pieces here; it’s a «must-go» if you decorate with vintage style. There are also interesting pieces of art, yet slightly overpriced, but can be negotiated through the artist. I was able to get two lamps with shades for a fraction of the price I would have paid at Arhaus or Resteration Hardware.

This is a cute little pseudo-vintage store in the Short North. I say pseudo-vintage because while it looks like all of the furniture here is vintage, all of it has been restored or revamped to look more modern. Chairs have new upholstery, and a lot of the vintage wood pieces have been repainted in bright colors. So you still get the character of vintage goods, without the worn-in feel. This looks like a great store to go to if you aren’t a typical vintage shopper. However, if you’re a vintage purist or prefer old furniture to have that worn-in look that comes with age, then it may not be the place for you. As for pricing and customer service, I was slightly less impressed and that is why I didn’t give it 4 stars. While I was there, the associate in the store greeted me shortly but spent most of her time chatting on the phone and didn’t really acknowledge me at all. Some of the pieces weren’t price marked and I was unable to get her attention to figure out how much they would be. In addition, I felt that some of the items were a bit overpriced– granted, you’re getting very high quality items, but they’re still used furniture, and any vintage value they might have had is generally wiped away in the restoration/revamping process. However, I will say that *most* of the prices seemed reasonable, and this is a cute little shop that I wouldn’t mind going back to if I already happened to be in the area.

I’ve never really been a fan of vintage shopping. I always find myself scratching my head thinking: «Now why would I pay triple the price of something that’s used, when I can get something brand new for less?» I’m happy to report this place does not induce head scratching! What reasonably priced gem of a vintage shop! The customer service is prim-o. Getting greeted with anything less than a huge smile and a «hello» just won’t happen and it’s so easy to get lost in all the items here. You’ll find mainly large furniture pieces like a dining room table & chairs, shelves, bookcases, couch, etc. but they do have other table-top items like lamps, candle holders and smaller housewares as well. They also have a home made toiletry section with lotions and such, which happen to smell fantastic! I can’t say enough great things about this store! It’s not huge so don’t go expecting to find everything you’re looking for. But if you are looking for vintage piece(at a great price!) to add to your collection, do go in to at least get your smile!
