Vegan’s & Vegetarians DON’T GO!!!
What can say…
I recently came to Waba Grill to purchase a Tofu Bowl. As I told the cashier away from anything meat please. She said any Avocado… Sure thank you. Then soon after I see ppl who order after me. Pick up there food. Especially a couple that new the staff. Really!!! Soon after picking my bowl. I came home. Open the bowl, and it looked good as soon as I’m going to bite into it. I noticed pieces of Chicken on the Tofu .
When I spoke to the members of my PETA GROUP. We went to go check how they prepare the Tofu. We noticed they cook the a Tofu on the same place the chicken was. The tofu was cut with the same knife, and same cutting board. Worst Part… It was not clean, and it just recently cooked, and cut chicken.
When calling to make a concern complaint. I was hanged up twice, and laughed at. Instead of muting the phone. I could hear everything they were saying. HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS!!!
They don’t follow HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS!!!
How many of my fellow Vegans, and Vegetarians unfortunately ate, and disgusted meat!!! Think about.

Never coming to this place again it is dirty and the quality of the chicken was not there. I have tried Waba Grill in other cities and have not been disappointed This location is close to my work which is in Montebello but I would rather drive elsewhere

I am a big fan of waba grill but this location is the worst I have been too. They lack the customer service and they deliberately ignore you. I came in and the lady at the counter was talking on the phone ignoring the line of fresh customers walking in. The back of the house had four employees doing who knows what. After, several minutes one person from the back canoe out and started taking orders. Great food, horrible service.

its really good, i love heir salmon bowl. but they raised the price of their avocado.

The steak plate was great but when I asked for the vegetables they tasted like they just pulled them out of the fridge. Also the service was horrible

the best food ever, I love the fact that I could call my order in and they have it ready for me in 5 mintues, I wil recommend there chicken bowl with veggies and white rice and there amazing hot sauce, u got love the species on that. staff are really friendly

Brown rice is really good
What’s not great is the customer service… been many times and the cashiers always seem to have an attitude of act like they’re doing you a favor.
The place is ALWAYS COLD
I don’t understand them serving you warm food only to be cooled by their AC

Took them 20 mins to get my order after calling five people after me AND they give me white rice instead of brown?

Bottom line is they skim on the chicken and beef, I’ve been to other waba locations and noticed the difference, will never return to this location again.

Daily 2 chicken bowls for $ 8 special! You can not go wrong with that! The servings are enough to fill you up… They also have combination bowls that include steak, shrimp, salmon, or veggies. Staff is friendly and they get the order down right.

This place needs better arrangements in seating. Too small and high traffic to the cashier during lunch hour and cluttered. Just go order and get out.

Aargh, I don’t wanna give this place a 2 star rating, seeing as I come here all the time. But when the staff doesn’t even know how to properly charge a gift card and you have to end up paying out of your own pocket, there’s a problem. Why issue the damn things if your location doesn’t accept them or if the employees aren’t trained to use them? It might be time to switch to flame broiler or just head over to Yoshinoya.

The girls are very nice and they get you out of there fast, especially for those of us who have limited time for lunch. The food is very good as well. Recommend to anyone who needs to eat something fast and good.

Small place, better for take outs, workers are nice, it gets too packed and a little sketchy but good food

Well, where shall I begin? I know accidents happen, but today there was broken glass in my chicken bowl! They replaced my bowl and said they’ll be more careful next time. As a precaution, I left my job for a doctors visit. Had some X-​rays performed on my neck area which came back negative. Thank GOD! But maybe they’re in my stomach already? Anyways, I sent them an email with my issue just in case I have issues later on. It’s for documentation purposes. Maybe they can compensate me for lost wages, mileage reimbursement, and my copayment for my X-​ray scans? Still waiting for an answer…

Food is really good and is healthy (as long as you don’t smother your food in sauce, but who are we kidding!) They’re house teriyaki sauce — A+. It’s just the right amount of rice vs veggies & meat. And it is fulling! Very nice!

I Love This Place.
I come here at least twice a week usually for dinner. The girls know and call out my name as I’m walking in the door making me feel very welcomed. When they get a chance, someone will usually come over to my table to ask how everything is going, not only with my meal but with life in general.
I have no complaints at all about this place and will continue to stop by regularly.

As I am writing this review, I am eating my fav combination bowl. Chicken and steak on brown rice with green onions, jalapenos and extra teriyaki sauce. I have yet to be disappointed by eating this lunch. Hits the spot every time. You can get the bowls with white rice, but to me the brown taste better. It’s gotten so that the girl that takes the orders remembers my name and order! I like to call my order in and it’s always hot and ready for me when I arrive. To side you can fill little cups with hot and teriyaki sauce. And there are little paper bags to fill with the picked jalapenos and carrots. The case of cold drinks have a good selection. WaBa Grill is definitely one of my favorite lunch spots.

So much better than flame broiler or chop yaki. This location is a tad small, but you can take it to go, so it’s all good :)

We love it here! Food is always tasty, fresh and healthy for you. the staff is great they are always in smiles and welcoming. its a small place and feels full of comfort we love the spicy chili and teriyaki !
