A Move Made Easy

We were disgusted with this outfit. Had to pay for an hour transportation each day. Used it two days and all we got for 10 hours (actually 8 working and 2 driving) was a bunch of stickers on our stuff telling the movers what to move and what not to move. We could have told them that in two hours without using stickers. In addition it was all open-​ended without a firm price. We got another outfit and they gave us a flat price, packed us up and unpacked us. We thought this outfit was very overpriced for the service they gave us.

Sharon and her team provided superb service for my senior gentleman client from San Diego. I coordinated with her to manage the move on the Florida end. Prior to that, she gave me detailed dimensions of the client’s new house so we would know exactly what was going to fit.
Sharon oversaw the moving crew as they placed the furniture to the client’s specifications. She made sure all his art was hung and the house decorated to his liking. Her team even went back to downsize and sort through the boxes marked for storage.
Sharon worked with the realtor in FL to make sure the house was ready for the move-​in. The client was very happy with A Move Made Easy and they sure made Next Phase Move Assistance look good! She’s the consummate professional in the industry.

WE moved my mom up to NY from Sunny Isles last April. But now we had to get the apartment ready to sell, and pack up her stuff (and a lot of it). I was flying down from NY and taking off from work, so time was a factor. Thank goodness for Sharon and her team. What was a totally anxiety provoking situation for me, she made so easy. She was comforting herself, explaining how everything from packing, to moving, to deliver would work. And her packer, Kethera (not sure of spelling) was so A-​MAZING. OHMYGOD, in 4−½ hours Kethera packed up just about everything that would have taken me weeks. I was just amazed watching her. She is a doll. And the mover, Mick, also, explained everything. And the driver, Kelve, who came to take out the boxes, again, explained (and yes, I needed to have it explained a hundred times).
While I was only having Sharon take care of a small portion of this move (no furniture, YET) it was very overwhelming for me and as I said, she was wonderful. I would highly recommend them again.

This is a perfect name for this company. My mother suddenly died and I and my siblings needed to clean out her apartment. Sharon and her team made this challenging activity as easy as possible. We all lived about 1400 miles away and we had one weekend to clean out the apartment. We marked what we each wanted to have shipped to us and left the rest to A Move Made Easy. The threw out everything else and meticulously packed and shipped to us just what we wanted. Everything arrived intact and the packing was extremely professional.
As they were cleaning out the apartment, Sharon told us that if anything of value was found, they would let us know. Sure enough, they found $ 400 and a jar full of money, which they gave to us and demonstrates their honesty and ethics. The people who helped with the move her professional, caring, and very honest. Sharon also told us that if there was anything of value that we did not want, she would try to sell it for us and give us the proceeds, which would help to offset the costs of the move. As it turned out, there was one item of value that we did not want and she was able to sell it and gave us the proceeds, which was a considerable amount of money.
I have only positive things to say about Sharon and this company. I recommend them highly to anyone who needs help with a move. You will not be disappointed.

Sharon and her team at A Move Made Easy couldn’t have been more helpful. My parents needed to move to Florida for medical reasons and had to significantly downsize. I moved twice within 2 years and used this company both times. I was not physically able to do any of the packing and unpacking due to health issues. Their team came right in and got to business. I cannot believe how painless both moves were. by evening I was settled in my new home without any problems. You can be sure I will use them again and highly recommend them to friends and family.

I was thrilled when I found this business. The name is perfect, because they really did help me through a challenging process when my mom downsized and moved to an independent living facility. I recommend them to everyone I know, without reservation. That moment when we went into her new place and Autumn and her team had it all prepared was really special.

My brother died quickly and unexpectedly at his home in Florida after a long bout with lymphoma. We were able to leverage her considerable experience in sorting through his things, donating key items, placing others on consignment, cleaning out his apartment, handling the landlord, shipping selected pieces North and a hundred other confusing and niggly details.
Sharon and her team are unfailingly polite, sympathetic, understanding, helpful, professional, knowledgeable and straightforward. They saved us a lot of time and a lot of anxiety when timing mattered. They eased our burden and respected our grieving.
We would recommend A Move Made Easy without reservation and should the need arise would re-​engage them in a New York minute.

Worst mistake, these people are unprofessional, and I would never recommend them for any senior downsizing and moving. Too many hidden costs and they have an excuse for every mistake made. Our move was not easy, and 2 weeks later we are still trying to settle an outrageous bill. No rating
