It takes a lot for me to get going when it comes to working out. I found studio cycle by chance and decided to try their free class. I was blown away by their excellent service and helpfulness. The class is so addicting! I wear a polar calorie counter and burn at least 600 calories per class! Love the laser lights and the heart pumping music. The ambiance is everything, after class they have eucalyptus towels that are such a nice added touch. And to mention some super cute athletic wear. I would recommend this place hands down. Prices are also good. The list just goes on and on as to why I am hooked. And I’ve lost weight.

Not an indoor cyclist, but at the suggestion of a friend tried my hand at spin class. So glad I did, it was a blast! Alli led the group and even though I had no clue what I was doing, it was easy to keep up and stay in sync. And she has so much energy it’s impressive! The whole studio was friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Nope. Nope. And nope. This spot trys to compete with the other cycle studios, but they don’t cut it. The instructors here, are wack, out of shape, and they are ditzy to me. I took a class. They try and pump u up and then turn on crazy strobe lights. Felt like I’d die, when they completely turn off lights. Thats dangerous! Dim is fine, but pitch black? Unable to see my hands?! OK stop the gimmicks. Dont go. Go to soul cycle. Or la fitness or 24 hour fitness. Way better there.

FANTASTICEXPERIENCE. It was only my second spin class ever so I didn’t have a lot to compare it to, but even if I did, I’m positive Studio Cycle would have exceeded all expectations. The woman working the front desk was very cheerful and friendly — helped me get situated, set up my bike, answered all of my questions, etc. Instructor(GI Jess) was unreal, in the best way possible. SO motivating, energized, and encouraging, all while pushing us to try as hard as we could(and then some). The studio looks small from the outside but is super cute and well set up on the inside. There are free towels, a great Alkaline water dispenser, and restrooms/a changing area. Parking is a little tricky — street parking on PCH, free parking in the lot immediately adjacent for morning classes, or paid parking in that same lot later in the day. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Awesome experience. The instructor was very energetic, the room is set up like a disco club with high volume music and lights(all the time dark with some light). I loved it! The place is very small, but in the end, I entered, wore my shoes and then left so no need of extra space for a spinning class. There are no showers so that is sad, but I can live with it :) Just I wish it was cheaper… a regular class is $ 20 and there is nothing in the facility other than a towel and water, I pay the babysitter less and the responsibility on a 1:1 ratio with a child is not even comparable… just that… I will go only if I get discounted classes :)

LOVE Studio Cycle CDM! Great«Boutique» spin studio. The instructors are fabulous as well as the clients. It is such a friendly environment for what could be an intimidating workout. I have been spinning for 6 years and I still remember my first spin class– I just wanted it to hurry up and be over. At Studio Cycle they do a great deal 5 classes for $ 50 for first time clients. This encourages you to keep coming back because it gets better by the 5th class. BEWARE– it is a HIGHLYADDICTIVEWORKOUT!

I work in the wellness industry and pretty much have my pick of fitness classes with amazing instructors. It just doesn’t get better than Ali Suter. This woman is authentic and real and says stuff in one sentence that will have you thinking all day. In 45 minutes, she will change your day, your week and your life.

I’ve been taking spin classes in Southern California for over 10 years and Studio Cycle is by far and away better than any other spin gym I’ve been to. The instructors are incredible! All classes are different and contain their own specialty and flair. My favorite instructor is G.I. Jessica. Her combination of music, instruction and motivational coaching encourages me to push myself beyond limits I normally would not think attainable. I’ve played for HOF coaches in the NCAA and NBA and none of them possess the spirit and passion she has. I look forward to class everyday and leave with a great sense of accomplishment. Also, the bikes are super sturdy so I never feel off balance. If you want a real experience and to get in shape, go to Studio Cycle!

Today was my first class and it will not be my last! I took Taryn’s class and it was so much fun. Love the music and her upbeat attitude. Also, the cold towels provided after the workout are wonderful :)

I’ve been going to Studio Cycle for about a year and love the workout. Went to another place before, Studio Cycle has better equpment and super friendly staff who truly care about what they do. So, this morning i tried Soul Cycle, also very nice but(even though i’m a local) it was SOOOO Newport Beach. I’ve never seen so many implants in one place, it was like a fake boob convention. And bad hair extensions, plumped up lips, etc etc. So i will continue at my fave spin studio, Studio Cycle and the REAL people who work and work out here!

I’ve been getting pretty obsessed with spin lately and I think I’ve taken classes at almost all spin studios in the OC area so I’m getting a good grasp of what studios I like more than others. To be honest, I think a lot of it really comes down to preference. Studio Cycle CDM offers cheaper pricing than other studios(Soul Cycle being most expensive at $ 30 a class at Fashion Island) and their location is cute and convenient for anyone living in Corona del Mar. However, I’m docking off points because parking is atrocious and I’m usually always late because PCH has an onslaught of traffic at so many different times of the day. You can park on the street or pay for valet in the lot directly next door. I think they let you park in that lot in the mornings but close it off to valet after a certain time. Parallel parking is sometimes a must if you’re running late or what a closer spot. Now where this studio really shines is the inside — despite it being pretty small, there’s a lot of space and they use really nice Schwinn bikes here. The staff is excellent and really friendly and there are small lockers, a bathroom, and small changing area for you. I did the $ 15 new client for 3 classes and your spin shoes are free the first time around and are $ 2 or $ 3 after that. I forgot the name of the instructors I had but they were awesome and unlike other studios, played a good variation of hip hop, pop, and dance music. I got a good workout and definitely felt the sweat afterwards.

I really love this spin studio. I’ve been spinning for 20+ years and have tried several studios and styles and this studio is now my new spin home. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had in a class. I’ve taken classes with Maddy, Ali and GI Jessica and they each bring their own style of inspiration, motivation and fun with a real passion to their classes. They lead by example. After every class I walk out completely drenched in sweat with my stress level at a zero. There is a sense of «we’re all in this together» and a great energy you can feel throughout the room. The music is fun too and gets you going! I love that I have become one of the people yelling out«woohoo and yeah!!» after a tough sprint or for«you made it to the last song» announcements haha! The studio is clean and well maintained and I like the inspirational words on the walls. I’m the one focused on «you can, you will» written above the instructors bike. I need it to make it through the sprints without stopping. Also, Brittney at the front desk is super friendly and helpful. Thank you! I look forward to my 4 – 5 x’s a week sweat as much as I look forward to red wine on the weekends. That’s saying a lot if you knew how much I LOVEMYWINE. If you like high energy classes, fun people, a good sweat and a great challenge, then you need to come in and experience a Studio Cycle CDM spin class. I’m so thankful I did. Cheers and keep on spinning!

I’m pretty sure this is the devil’s exercise. By that I mean I was praying for death about 15 minutes into my first session here. The music was bumping and the skinny chick teaching kept yelling set your intention. My intention is to live through this class. My intention is to wear tiny jeans. My intention is not to faint on the bike. I’m so happy my brother was in the class with me because if I died, he could tell the family how I died. I spent most of my class trying like hell to stay up the whole time and fantasizing about what he’d say to my dad when he said what happened? She died on a bike? Objectively speaking, I’ve never tried spin before. It’s kind of a brutal workout. However, they had bumpin music(although it was a little bit hip hop for me.) And they had towels and water for me. The shoes are weird and funny but they apparently keep you on the bike. Of course, I didn’t exactly trust them so I was sure I was going to fall and split myself open on the bike. The next day, I was sore. I knew I had done something new and challenging because my muscles were screaming at me. My arms burned from the little weights(2lbs) we used to exhaust our arms in a complex set. My thighs and my booty hurt from the exercise. But I felt good. All in all, I’d do it again. I just need to go with a buddy or I might chicken out and stay home with a glass of wine.

I came this morning for Ali’s class! I was greeted by a super sweet girl that showed me around. The bikes are great, the studio was clean. Ali was awesome! Fired up music, dark room, motivational words and I was DRENCHED! The class was 45 minutes long but I swear it felt like 15! It was over so fast which means I was having fun! Great workout.

Love it love it love it! I’m very active and enjoy exercise, but I never thought I would get in to spin. My aversion began when I took a class at Full Psycle in Costa Mesa last summer. It was likely the worst 45 minutes of my life — I was being constantly embarrassed and berated by the instructor who read on the screens at the front of the room that I was doing the worst in the entire class. I had painful flashbacks to 10th grade Chemistry… but I digress. Studio Cycle is a revelation in the area! I got really in to Soul Cycle in Chestnut Hill, MA during my last semester of college in Boston, and I was sad to leave knowing there isn’t a Soul Cycle in OC. I passed by Studio Cycle a couple times since it’s so close to my house, and when I went online I found they give all new clients a free unlimited first week! Score! The teaching style reminds me a lot of Soul Cycle — they focus on your personal goals and a feeling of fulfillment rather than trying to push you beyond your physical limits. They are encouraging without being condescending. I am addicted and I miss it when I can’t be there! I’ve yet to take an overly crowded class, which is nice. It’s given me a chance to meet the instructors and feel more a sense of community with my fellow riders. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area and you want to feel good both physically AND spiritually!
