Mi Tortilla Mexican Grill

Mi Tortilla is an okay spot for some quick Mexican food. The décor is adorable, staff is efficient, and location is very convenient for people who live in Corona, as it is smack dab in the middle of the city. Prices are very reasonable, considering the fact that you get a fairly hearty portion. Although, the food is just okay. Don’t get me wrong, I eat here quite often, but it’s more of a convenience thing over a love-​for-​the-​food thing. I just feel like the food needs a little extra jazz to it, and then it would be a fantastic spot. One of Mi Tortillas shining qualities is the salsa and chip bar. This is the one and only spot where I’ve found a restaurant that allows you to serve your own tortilla chips. Personally, I’m REALLY trying to cut down on the carbs, so I didn’t get much use out of it. Although, the non-​dieting side of me could not stop staring at those chips. Long story short, if you’re looking for some okay Mexican food and you’re in the area, this is your spot, just don’t expect a particularly authentic experience.

Mi tortilla… More like «mi burnt tortilla»! I enjoy coming here &getting the fajita burrito but my fajitas are ALWAYS burnt to a crisp!!! I can’t stand it anymore!!! They’re not even caramelized. just straight up burnt. Please change this. Other than that i like the free chips.

Drove by this place many times, so I decided to give it a try. It’s a cute little decorated restaurant on the inside. Self serve drinks/​seating. The outside patio is nice with bulb lighting for the evening. The food: was pretty average to good. No complaints, I wasn’t wowed by it, but it was decent, and I would come back again if I was in the area.

Hidden in corona this place offers good Mexican food. The salsa bar and unlimited chips is a hit ! They make homemade tortillas with your order. I had the fajitas more than enough food for the price
Customer service was attentive… To drink I ordered a michelada which was a 8 (1 – 10)
Taco Tuesday seems to be big here so bring your appetite

It’s not like «oh my gosh» this place is awesome, but it’s a pretty good semi authentic Mexican place. Portions are a bit large and a bit greasy. Music is fun and the place is clean. Workers are friendly. The chip and salsa bar is pretty good. Hot salsa is good, but the green salsa is yummy. Outdoor eating are is relaxing.
For sure coming back.

The food is always fresh, hot and tasty. Very affordable for a family of 4.
This place is very good for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Ambience and décor is excellent. Outside seating is very pleasant aa well.
You can see that the ownership maintains this place very clean and well managed.

We love coming here, especially on Saturdays when kids eat free. I almost always get their chipotle steak fajitas. They really upgraded things when they switched to making their own flour tortillas. I could eat those all. day. long. Another great thing is their chip and salsa bar. I’m never disappointed when we go there. Thank you!

Stopped by to see if we would like! Was happy with the service and food… Shredded beef was awesome! I also ordered nachos I paid for the meat (carnitas) could have used a little more meat, otherwise very good! I will stop by when passing through again …

Fresh, and delicious food. Keith and Alma are amazing! The kitchen staff is on-​going with utilizing authentic recipes! Feels as though I’m in my mother’s very own kitchen! Delicious

We finally came into Mi Tortilla for dinner after driving by it many times. I was very pleased with the food service and atmosphere! We let the lady taking orders know it was our first time and she ran us through the menu pointing out a few of her favorites. She also gave us a stamp card for a free entrée after 45 dollars spent. (I think that was the deal) I ended up with the wet burrito and my fiancé had the Chicken Tortilla salad. She got the smaller portion and it was HUGE! The larger portion of salad would have fed us both. We really enjoyed the home made flower tortillas. The salsas from the chips & salsa bar were really good. I love spicy food and one of them was very spicy.
We ordered 2 Micheladas with 24 oz bottles of Modelo Especial with dinner and enjoyed them very much. I love the fact that they offer the tall bottles of beer! When the server brought out or drinks we asked her about the margaritas and she offered us a sample to try. Those were good also and will definitely be on the list for next time.

Love this place! Awesome chips and salsa bar that they don’t charge you extra for, and food is excellent, portions are big too!!! Décor and ambiance is nice, feels like you’re in MX! Will definitely keep coming here…

Okay peeps. Just had dinner with my kiddos and the food and service was the bomb. Saturday’s Kids eat free with purchase regular entrée. The flour tortillas are now homemade and the kids burritos are pretty big. My kids were wow daddy these burritos r so good. Then they said the unthinkable… Daddy the burritos are better than Miguel’s. I tried it myself and I agreed. Homemade tortilla kicked it up a notch. I had tha combo chix n steak fajitas and it didn’t disappoint. It came out sizzling hot and flavor was great accompanied with grilled onions, peppers and rice n beans. For the price the best fajitas in town. If you haven’t eaten at mi tortilla for a few, I would suggest give it another go. If u have kids it’s a no brainer.

I’m not sure why I never reviewed this place since we have been so many times but this place NEVER disappoint. The staff is amazing, makes you feel welcomed, and always make sure you are taken care of. The food is amazing. I love the chips and salsa bar as well. I will keep going back.

I like this place for their decent prices, salsa bar, and free chips. The food is not authentic by any means but good. The staff is alway nice and the décor works for it. I can get a taco, chips, and drink for less than $ 5.00. Always good in a pinch.

Good Mexican food I order the wet burrito and it was full of flavor and they have the best hot salsa.
My wife order fajitas plate and she said that it was delicious and she was very happy with the service.

Ordered a 3ft chile verde burrito from their express catering line. Outstanding service, very friendly when I picked up order. Great tasting burrito that came with salsa & chipa and plates/​forks/​knives. Thank you!

I pass Mi Tortilla all the time and made a mental note to check them out (liked the sign/​logo)
Finally made it here for lunch the other day and was surprised what a huge menu they have and just how good the salsa bar was!
Free self serve chips and salsa, already a winner in my book.
I had the veggie salad, it was good, nothing special.
My husband had teh breakfast quesadilla, tiny, but tasty as well as the fajita burrito with steak, also pretty small for $ 8, but tasty.
Service is nice, order at counter and they bring the food out for you.
Don’t think I would bother to come back, as nothing stood out, but also not bad either.

I use to really enjoy the tortilla salad with chicken. And my family ate here a lot. However I feel that the food isn’t as good as it use to be. The quality control just isn’t there anymore. Seems like the people who work here aren’t happy with their jobs either. I have never received a smile until yesterday (the young man delivering food to the tables smiled and said someone would be right with us) uh oh… I hope he doesn’t get fired for being kind. The employees act as if they are annoyed by having to take your order.
They use to have amazing green salsa, But it was super watery. My salad was thrown together, The half nachos was piled high with chips, very little toppings.
Also on a side note… They use to have amazing party trays in aluminum containers. The last time we had a party the containers were much smaller (same price) and the containers were plastic. Most people take their party trays home and keep in oven or warning drawer until ready to serve your meal. You can’t do that with plastic.
I will need to find a new place for my families lunch and party trays.

I don’t want to be hard on this place but I just didn’t enjoy my meal that much. The store was clean and the staff was very friendly. I got two tacos, one chicken and one barbacoa beef. Both were very greasy, I guess because of the cheese. The flavor was fine, and the chicken was pretty good. The barbacoa beef, on the other hand, was a fatty, slimy mess that I mostly discarded. There is a lot to like about this place and it’s probably just fine if you’re not picky, but I am picky, and unfortunately it just wasn’t for me. If you are in the fence about tacos, definitely go with the chicken.
People are saying that the fajitas are good, so I’ll have to try them another time. I was going to give them a 4^th star just to be fair until I tried their salsa. It was not good. The spicy one is better, though.

Unlimited chips and salsa with a very good selection of salsa ranging from hot, medium, and mild (you could do without this one).
The people working there are very friendly and helpful. My friend and I couldn’t read the menu because it was placed a little too far back for our old, weak eyes but they gave us an idea of everything on the menu and gave us recommendations.
It wasn’t busy when we arrived so my chicken fajitas and friend’s Tijuana combo plate came quickly. We sat outside and the constantly came to check on us.
