It’s BK so you know what you get. The fries were good as well as the chicken fries. The medium drink is plenty.

$ 1.49 nuggets just steps from the beach – probably the cheapest food you can get out on this side. Can’t go wrong with that at all.

Came in last night and was very disappointed. All I was going to purchase was a drink and once I walked in I made eye contact with the cashier and she just walked away, no hello or nothing. There were no customers inside the place. After waiting for like 4. Min for someone to acknowledge us, the same cashier came out and took our order. The workers definitely need a lesson or two on customer service. This has been the worst Burger King I have been to.

Weird that this got so many bad reviews. In general, I feel like most BK employees act like they hate their jobs but these guys were actually really friendly and fast, especially considering that I had a big order and it was 6am.

Went here for dinner last night before the Elite event nearby.
I had your standard small whopper combo with fries and a diet Coke to stay awake. Burgers here were descent. At least the meat was fully cooked. The fries were hot and tasty. Food was your typical fast food burger joint.
Place was fairly clean. It’s your standard Burger King. I didn’t see any restrooms in the restaurants. Maybe they were outside the location.

The pace of this Burger King is like molasses. The wait was just interminable. The cashier was taking and filling some of the orders for drinks. It just seemed like time slowed down in this place as I watched the cashier take out a cup, go to the machine, press the button… slooow. Some of the lights in the kitchen area were dimmed so it seemed that maybe they were operating with a reduced staff. I only saw one person in the back preparing the food. They had an ad for a new frozen orange drink posted outside so that was the only reason I came in here. The drink was good so I guess you can say it was worth the wait. But, if you’re expecting «fast» food, you are in for a surprise.

Horrible burger king. You have been warned.

One of the worst BK’s I have ever been to. Past 6am and they are not open? Time to hire a new staff at this place. If I could give no stars I would. I hope they read these reviews to better work on their service.

I usually don’t Unilocal about fast food places but I was just so shocked by the services provided by this place. First of all how can this location be slower than any other Burger King I’ve ever been to. They don’t even have a drive thru. So they only have to worry about customers that walk in. I was appalled by how slow they were. They took so long that the line started looking like a ride for Disneyland and everyone in line was speaking to each other about how slow things were moving. It’s located in a strip mall type place that is a tourist destination. I was going kayaking with my family and we needed a quick bite. It took so long that we were almost late for our appointment.
Maybe they’re understaffed? I don’t know but they have to step their game up. But on the other hand the $ 1.00 french fry burger is a great deal.

This BK comes as a conscience mainly because its the only one within 3 – 4 miles. I love BK but it sure is hard to find in my neck of the woods.
Just a few things… There’s no drive thru, which is A’Okay with me. This will prevent (10min after the fact) mix-​ups.
I can understand that it will never be jammed packed because of all the other food served just near by. The Ferry Landing is a popular area and the choice if a BK instead of Mcky D’s is an excellent choice.
Just needs a little TLC inside because it looks as if nothing changed within for 8 years. I want to see a conveyor belt with baby whopper jr’s cycling around the condiment stand.

We decided to grab some lunch here before taking the ferry back to San Diego.
First impression was that this Burger King was nice and clean. It was one of the better burger kings that I’ve been to over the years. Ordered a few things from the value menu (bacon burger, fries, and apple pie) for myself and was satisfied with what I got for the price. My wife tried a Whopper for the first time in her life. She didn’t like it. The only fast food burger that she has ever liked is In-​N-​Outs.
I’d stop by here again if we’re in the area craving fast food.

For this location being in Coronado I expected it to be somewhat prestigious. The associates that worked there probably shouldn’t be handling food. One mexican girl, long hair that was dyed dark purple didn’t have it pulled all the way back. Long bangs were in her face and was dangling around the food. One girl was sick and kept rubbing her throat with her hand and coughing into her arm. There were two mexican’s, a girl and guy on their break outside talking about smoking something and the mexican girl said she couldn’t because she was going to be drug tested by the company soon. The food as well was dry and lifeless. I ordered a small fry and it took about 15 minutes to get it. And sad enough, the fries they gave me were already sitting there prior to me ordering them…

There is a reason why this place been around for so long (at least the 14 years I’d been in Coronado)! The customer service is good, is a nice location for a cheap junk meal, and is not as dirty as people make it seem to be!!!
BTW is a Burger King what are we talking about! Just have it your way!!!

We live right by this Burger King and it has been such a delightful place for a treat or meal for after my son’s sports games. This location happens to be at the Coronado Ferry Landing and it’s close to the baseball fields and parks. Great location! Always clean fast efficient with orders. BK now has fruit smoothies as well they have Icees and 50 cent soft serve cones proving to be a big hit with the kids. They always have well perfect toys in their kids meals and on many occasions offer coupons to theme parks through out the year. BK works for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner allowing you many yummy choices to choose from. I just tried their chicken apple salad and it was delicious it was fresh and had restaurant quality taste.
Burger King now has flat screens displaying their new healthy menu options. They have listed calories for each meal which is very helpful if you’re trying to be healthy. Love this location have been here many times with my son they always have a great toy in the kids meal and have a great new and classic menu items to choose from. Carlos and Jeff are managers there and they are very friendly also Aurora and Dulce are sweet and they have impeccable customer service skills … and the rest of the staff there. We enjoy going here and always have a good experience! Thanks Burger King of Coronado!

Rarely will I take the time to rate a fast food joint. But sometimes you just got to be warned people!!! Or perhaps they will hear you and make a change. BK… you are due for a super make over (where are you Restaurant Impossible!??)
Came in just for a couple soft serves for the kids. My first impression when I walked in was «don’t touch anything». Let me remind you this is location on the water in the beautiful town of Coronado. OK, just needed couple cones for .99 cents. I asked to purchase an extra cone so I can split for my little kids. She just didn’t get it. Not once, twice, or 3 times. Very frustrating. It was a zoo in there. Eekkk! Methinks not is right.

Really? I am still standing in line. Screw that I. m going across the street!

You can find the cheapest food at this location of the Ferry Landing.
I have been visiting this location since 2009 and have not experienced any issues with the food or service.
The long wait I read about are due to the normal lunch/​dinner rushes where most folks run into issues with, due to the high volume of costumers ranging from tourist and locals.

Pricey.

When I was younger and my body was able to eat junk-​food without showing it, Burger King was my favorite. I haven’t been there for years, so on this particular day, I ended up at BK on demand of my daughter. She choose BK over a Bar B Q spot.
I ordered the Angry Whopper to let my food be in alignment with my feelings. But something incredible happened, the Angry Whopper was able to remove my bitterness and fill my mind with sweet memories of the early years when BK and I were BFF.
I need to clarify that BK will not be on my No. 10 list, just for this fact, but if I am placed in the situation to choose a fast junk food joint, I will go for the King.
5 stars for the Angry Whopper and for old times sake.
