P.F. Chang’s

The food is just… kinda whatever. Nothing special and way way to over priced. The waitress we had was very friendly and warm. That’s about the only thing going for this restaurant. And the atmosphere is great as far as the candles. The food… just doesn’t add up to the rest. Bland and boring. The stars I give it are for the waitress

Amy loves P.F. Chang’s. Aaron; meh, in big groups it’s fun. We almost walked right out of this one. The smell was none too pleasant. Amy had been really wanting P.F. Chang’s, so we endured. The service was mediocre at best. I’ve heard it doesn’t always smell that way, so I bumped it up to 3 stars.

Just got back in town and had to stop in for Chinese food. I like This location for the parking, great for those of us in recreational vehicle or towing a boat. Quality of food and service was excellent. $ 14.00 for small lunch plate is at the high end of a lunch menu, that’s soup plus rice and Mongolian beef. Eat here for atmosphere and quality not quantity.

I ordered the Peruvian sea bass plate, I found the fish extremely fishy tasting. The manager came by, l told him about the fish. He stated that fish was soaked overnight in olong tea which contributed to the strange flavor. I really think that the manager should review the rescipe, maybe it could be improved? Other than the quality of the food being served, the service was excellent.

Normally I don’t review but I feel compelled to review PF Changs Corpus Christi. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any restaurant. It took them 50 min to get the food to us and it was not our order. It was brought out by the manager too. When the food actually got to us, I asked for gluten free soy sauce. And asked again to two more people including the manager and finally when I got it, I had no need for it. And to top it off I told the server that we were now in a hurry for an appointment, another 30 min went buy before we got to leave, because he had to stop and hit on some girls at another table instead of getting my check.
So if anyone is going there to eat make sure you have at least 2 hours to waste.

Visited this location yesterday. The food and service was good. Ordered the jicama tortillas tacos with lobster and shrimp and they were very tasty!

Honestly, I never knew what the hype was for PF Changs Restaurant chains, mainly because it is an Americanized-​Asian restaurant, much like a panda express, but in a sit-​down restaurant version.
Their food here was average in size, not too large and not too small, enough for a single person to finish, which is well-​appreciated.
The manager and staff are always well-​engaged with the customers, which is also very nice for the facility.
The food was moderately good, and there was a nice variety of asian dishes.
Being Asian, however, my taste buds are highly acute to true, traditional, and flavorful Asian foods, thus this restaurant does not quite do my expectations justice.
Other people really seem to like it, though !
the interior and exterior of the restaurant is creative and dimly lit for a nice ambience.
Wait time was average.
Overall, an ok experience with PF Changs.

Rude Ass Host Named Melissa, And one of the Waitress Is Rude As F**k Too. For sure won’t be coming back

Sorry… We went for our anniversary dinner and regretted it the entire time. The waiter insisted that we have the popular chicken lettuce wraps. He should have noted «assembly required». The smell of the dish got my husband nauseous and it was downhill from there.

This was my favorite place until my last visit… My waitress came to my table high as a kite!!! She could barely keep her eyes open, was speaking extremely slow couldn’t focus on us and smelled of weird strong burnt smell. I don’t even think it was even weed she had smoked. We told the manager and he seemed upset and apologized and then disappeared. Never came back to check on us. Will not be dinning here again

Changs has tons of ways to eat vegetarian. Kudos to PF Chang. This location has a great server named Alex. Great guy. Ask for him

I like that they often have deals on Facebook when you check in. I have taken advantage of those several times. The food is rather good. I’m just disappointed in the bar here. It’s always slow every time I go. Last time, it took 30 minutes for my beer to arrive. I already dug into my food when it arrived. Not sure if they’re short-​staffed at the bar or the bartenders are inexperienced, but it’s a little out of hand.

I and my wife have been many times to the Corpus location with great service. That all changed last evening (New Year’s Eve). The bad experience was due entirely to the waiter/​server. Very slow service along with an attitude that conveyed he was not interested in even being there ruined our time at the restaurant. When he did talk, he mumbled and had a slightly angry look. Both the manager and assistant manager came by and we told them about the poor service. After management spoke with him, he kept apologizing. He gave the excuse that he was real busy. The restaurant was half empty. Even if it were full, still no excuse for the attitude and very slow & poor service.

Our food was perfect as was our dirty martini’s
We had summer rolls, yummy. As well as egg drop soup, Korean bbq chicken and Chang chicken

One star only because I can’t give «0» stars. My family and I went for our weekly get together. I ordered an alcoholic beverage, which arrived about 20 minutes later. We had two items left at our table that were not ours. Three of the eight people in my party received the wrong meal! While we were eating, we noticed the manager visiting almost every table comp’ing customer’s meals because of the horrible service. Our glasses were empty for most of the night and we stopped ordering alcoholic beverages because it was a 10 – 15 min wait. All in all, I won’t be back to P.F. Chang’s. There are too many other options for Asian food where the food is not only great, but the staff can get your order right.

Lunch time and I was very impressed with the speed of service and choices for lunch! I had the sesame chicken with white rice. Our server, Jorge was great he took our order immediately! our food was hot and the rice was cooked right. I was skeptical about not getting in & out quickly for lunch. Great service by Jorge and enough time to have lunch at a favorite!

We love eating at PF Changs. We use it as a family reward when we are celebrating.

Food was wonderful and atmosphere is always pleasant. Our server was good but very emotionless, no personality or warmth. A manager is always walking around checking on tables and helping where necessary, that’s always nice to see.
Favorite dishes:
Chicken lettuce wraps (most peoples favorite)
Dynamite shrimp (as the name suggest, it has heat)
It is actually an appetizer but I order it as a meal and get a side of white rice with it.

Our experience today was just major BS! So extremely frustrating.
Sunday night. Almost 7pm. They are ¹⁄₃ full.
We get greeted and seated right away. Everything looking good so far.
Our waitress disappeared after giving us our drinks. When she shows up we finally place our order (dinner for 2 for 40 $ that included soups, appetizer, 2 entr and dessert) Our waitress disappears again. No drink refills. Nothing. In 15 minutes we get our soup followed by appetizer. Pretty bad sign when your appetizer comes in 15. And then we wait and wait and wait… meanwhile it’s 8 pm, my 1 yo gets fussy and everything is getting ridiculous. One hour after placing our order the waitress just casually mentions there’s 2 large parties in front of us… so…it may take a little longer… WHAAAAAAT??? It’s been ONE HOUR and they haven’t even started working on our food! WTF???
So apparently they had those 2 large parties and they are understaffed… so it became a huge clusterfcuk.
Why didn’t they tell us? WHY? Did they think we d be ok sitting there for 1.5 hr (or whatever it would have taken)?
We told the waitress we are leaving. She brought us our check (they took our appetizer off the check so we just paid for the soup) Manager didn’t bother to show up to apologize — way to go!
I can see multiple ways how it could have been prevented and handled better but it just didn’t happen.
Not sure when if ever we will be back. Thanks for nothing, PF Changs!

Sunday April 26^th
I love PF Changs and have never had a bad experience UNTIL last night. Terrible service, a mess from entry to restroom, cranky hostess, arguing with manager about pay, she felt after 1.5 years her terrible attitude somehow entitles her to a raise — I mentioned to them the topic really wasn’t appropriate, in public at the hostess stand.
Ordered food to go, via phone, was told pick up at 8:25, food was finally ready at 8:50, no plastic ware, no napkins, no sauce typically accompanying entrée.
Food is good, not good enough to eliminate bitter taste of uncomfortable atmosphere, lousy service and the long wait for $ 42.00 for two meals. Did I mention, there were only four parties seared
In the entire restaurant???
Sadly disappointed with the South Padre Drive, Corpus Christi location
