Still love the chicken wings! It’s worrisome that so many stores are closing, i.e., Irvine a couple years back, then Oceanside, and it looks like Costa Mesa may be next. Russell G.

So gave this place a second chance. I thought«maybe last time was an off day. Maybe they’ve changed their slow ways». I thought wrong. It took a little long to get our first order but our second order took a little over 20 minutes. Seriously. And my wings were room temperature when they got to the table. DONOTGOHERE. This is the slowest location ever. I’ve been to a lot of hooters and never has it been this slow!!!

Had a craving for wings last weekend, so my husband and I decided on Hooters. Walked in the door and wait almost 10 minutes to be acknowledged and seated. Wanted to sit on the patio so we sat at a table that needed wiped off. Sat there 10 minutes, no waitress, no nothing. So we moved into the bar. Order an appetizer that took almost 30 minutes to come out. Then when our wings finally came they were horrible, totally over cooked. At one point when I asked the female manager what the issue was she just replied with a snotty, «the kitchen is backed up» No sorry, nothing.

I really want to like this place but I just can’t. As soon as we walked in the hostesses were very friendly, but I had to hold back my laughter as soon as they tried to open their mouths for a semi decent conversation. Poor girls. Our actual waitress was such a sweetheart. She had long black hair and semi-covered up tattoos which I don’t think she should have to cover up at all because of the amount of people who have tattoos nowadays. She was really fast and got our orders correct. We both had the ‘Wingsday’ deal with 10 boneless wings and fries. Both medium buffalo sauce. The fries were greasy and cold like they’ve been sitting under a heat lamp all day. The blue cheese dressing had so much flavor I could barely taste the chicken. The buffalo sauce was absolutely disgusting. There was a pool of oil at the bottom of the basket, but the sauce was really watery as well. It soaked into the breading of the wings like water would and had absolutely no flavor or heat. The worst thing was that the size of the chicken wings were way smaller than the average chicken nugget. It was like popcorn chicken kind of. Really terrible food. I would never come back here, although the hospitality was amazing.

Disaster after disaster. Came through with my boys from work, it was 8 in total. They have a special on wings all you can it for $ 15 on Tuesday, plus we wanted to watch the basketball game also. It was packed for 6 pm, our waitress was name Mel. Im gonna skip all the details and get to the point or Im gonna be writing a book. I order bbq wings bone with tater tots, everyone order theres also. The guys wanted to drink so pitchers were order. Pitchers came first it was 5 mins to bring. Food came about 10 mins later and it was wrong, another server girl with blond hair brought it. So another 10 mins food came and this time it was right. After that it was slow motion, pitchers took 20 mins to come out. They forgot our order, and it was just water. Like what the? I felt like they were mistreating us from that moment on. One of the guys ask like«Bro they dogging us, they probably think we ain’t got money», from that moment he gave the waitress hell. Bill came and they automatically add there tip if its more than 8 people. Like after all that and they have the nerve to do that. I’ll never come back here again, your lucky we even payed.

2 Stars for service: Place is half full. Yet it’s sllloooooowww service. Not necessarily the girls fault. They had too many tables each. Jennelle is great until they switch servers on us. 15 minutes wait for extra ranch and was about to charge us $.50 each, fried pickles came not piping hot but almost lukewarm. The girls looked overwhelmed, no busboys helping. For food: My boys enjoyed the bacon wrapped lemon pepper wings and beef sliders. Hubby enjoyed the Cajun wings. Fried pickles was subpar compared to other Hooters I have been.too. Washington apple shooter was great, but a little watered down. but hey $ 3 is not bad.

This place changed :(old managers used to be cool. The new managers with the glasses has changed the whole vibe in the place. Girls seemed pissed. Angry not as fun. Sucks. They all voice their opinion to us, but he’s an overbearing micromanagers, has killed all the fun here.

Never had any issues with this Hooter’s before but last week’s visit was a disaster. We tried to order FOUR different beers and none of them were in stock. The manager even came over to intervene because he saw the waitress leaving over and over again. He apologized and said they were changing things out but made no offer of giving a beer on the house to make up for the debacle which I thought should have happened. How do you not have FOUR of the beers we were asking for!!! Next issue was our food. The appetizers came out fine but it took FOREVER for the bone in and boneless wings to come out. We were completely finished with the other appetizers we ordered. Timing was definitely off. To make matters worse, they messed up the order. The waitress apologized and said we could keep the wings that were wrong(great…they’re wrong because we didn’t want to eat them that way… now what are we supposed to do with them???). We had to wait even longer for the right wings to arrive. These wings should have been taken off our bill, which did not happen. I know that it’s Hooter’s but man… it was just too much all in one visit. Not sure we’ll be back.

So decided to surprise the boyfriend with an early dinner at Hooters, boy oh boy was he excited!!! We got our favorite waitress Sissy! Love her smile !! Very attentive, friendly. We don’t even have to ask for refills on drinks or wings! Food was great! Hot and juicy wings lots of sauce. I got a crispy chicken sandwich very juicy piping hot! Mozzarella sticks and boneless wings lemon pepper very flavorful. Hey Lorenzo! Give Sissy a raise! We’ll definitely be coming back especially since Tuesday is all you can eat wings for $ 14.99

It is Hooters. Of course it is awful. Well, I finally know what Kenny G. in Silverlake feels like as I finally had a review clipped and to add insult to injury it was for a Hooters. So be it. I can spit out another so here goes… You pick the Unilocal review cliché beginning and we will go from there: 1.) «I really wanted to like this place» 2.) «What can I say that the others haven’t» 3.) «I hope the owners read this» All three are relevant. The crowd is Bro-tastic. The servers are Stripper-ific. The Wings are BLEH-worthy. Some would say«Aaron — the Wings aren’t even the point!». I would reply«If that is really the case then go to a real strip club you cheap and immature cretin». Others might claim«I love it as a sports bar.». Okay, I believe that as much as a crack fiend telling me that he only goes to skid row to people watch. Come now people. Hooters Costa Mesa — where the wings are so terrible people should pray after they eat it rather than before.

I got some wings to go because I love spicy food. I don’t need to sit and eat here because I have better eye candy at home. Yes, my wife is hot. As soon as I got home I started devouring my 911 wings but right away noticed something wasn’t right. My wife had some less spicy wings and then she points out that there is a foul smell about the wings. I stopped and smelled mine and although there was a dominant smell from the sauce there was a really pungent smell like rotten chicken. We stopped eating and sure enough got food poisoning later on. Never going back here again. Really, how can someone serve food and not be trained or not care to know they are serving spoiled meat?

Been reading the Unilocal reviews, but so far so good. Our waitress aka hooter girl, Megan is super informative and nice. She keeps coming over to check up on us. What does she want? Probably more tip! Smart chick. She even gave us some tips and happy hour info. Megan is the best. When our fish and chips came out. She opened the tarter sauce for us. Made us a ketchup heart on a plate. Handed us napkins for our laps. Man I feel like I’m at a high class restaurant. The fish and chips were not bad. Hot and extra crispy. Came out in 4 large pieces. The best fish and chips in oc I would still say is at the auld dublinger in tustin market place. 5 stars for Megan. 3 stars for the food. So Hooters gets a 4 star. Happy Hooting!

«Breasts, wings, and thighs» — ‘Along with the obvious, the HOOTERS girls, I’ve heard a lot of good things about the food here… ‘More specifically, the buffalo wings. «Hello, AYCE buffalo wings!»(Mon/Tue only) Don’t get me wrong, I love eye candy but I can’t be a gluttonous devourer of wings & try to multitask @ the same time… I’m not that talented.(‘But I am HUNGRY!) I wonder if someone made a hot dog franchise with a 95% male staff & called it «Peters,» if it would be equally successful… — «Would you like some horseradish cream sauce to go with that 100% Angus Beef Dog?» After all this time of living in SoCal, I finally made it to a HOOTERS…(Well, now that I was moving back to the SF Bay Area.) I was in the final stretch of my move, «Back to the Bay — 2014,» and after all this time procrastinating, I finally made it… I said the same thing about the Lake Forest HOOTERS but sadly in that case, procrastination won. The Lake Forest location closed up shop before I made it in.(Now, it’s a Slater’s 50⁄50.) «HOOTERS» from the 405 — The wings were pretty good… ‘After all it was $ 12.99 — AYCE«Traditional Wings» Tuesdays so that kinda gave me an idea of what to expect.(Mondays — AYCE«Boneless Wings) We arrived around 6:45pm, perfect timing because shortly after, it was packed! The crowd was mixed, groups of guys, couples, a few families, girlfriends hanging out… ‘Nice mix. Front Dining Area — Outside Seating — Our order: Long Island Ice Tea x2($ 7.75) — Very good; tasty Photo — Tokyo Tea($ 8.50) — Okay; tasty; could be stronger Photo — Adiós Mo’fo($ 7.50) — Okay; tasty; could be stronger Photo — Western BBQ Burger w/Curly Fries($ 10.99) — Good Photo — AYCE Wngs w/French Fries($ 12.99) — «ALLYOUCANEAT!» Round 1: Spicy Garlic & Original Hot«Breaded»(10 pieces) Photo — Round 2: Samurai Teriyaki(5 pieces) Photo — Round 3: General Tsao(5 pieces) Photo — Overall, I was very happy with the wings, the sauces were tasty… ‘Think my favorites were the Spicy Garlic & General Tsao. The saucier the better! Let’s get sauced — Caramel Fudge Cheesecake($ 5.99) — Good Photo — Grand Total(Incl. tax): $ 66.39 It adds up pretty quick… I blame the adult beverages.(*Hiccup) It was 8:30pm by the time we left & the place still had a good crowd of customers coming and going. My waistline was @ maximum capacity but that’s usually the norm when AYCE is on the menu…(‘Especially sushi!) It seems that the closest HOOTERS to my current location,(Vacaville, CA) are in: * Rancho Cordova * Sacramento * Rohnert Park We had a fun time! Our server was very friendly & helpful, she pointed me in the right direction, since it was my 1st time. If I was still in the area, this HOOTERS would probably be my default AYCE buffalo wings spot!(Well, Buffalo Wild Wings @ Lake Forest is a good contender. However, the other BWW locations in the area are lacking in customer service.) — Big Aloha! Food: 3+ Ambiance: 3+ Service: 4 Value: 3+(AYCE Wings)
