I was a regular here until my last visit. The cashier was outside talking on the phone when I walked in. I was the only customer in the place. While inside, I stood at the register, ready to order. The guy who cooks the meat stood there and just stared at me. He did not once greet me. There was another girl in the kitchen too who made eye contact with me. Again, no greeting. They started to speak Spanish to each other, debating if they should help me. Little did they know, I could understand everything. I stood there for 15 minutes. No one said anything to me. The cashier comes back in tears and says«None of the others helped you? Everyone here is trained to ring up customers.» Apparently the cashier was on the phone with the owner, who was chewing her out about some nonsense instead of letting her help customers. TERRIBLESERVICE. To me, good service is worth more than the food itself. I work nearby and all my coworkers come here too. None of us will come to this location again. The cook in the back should be fired. Not only did I wait 15 minutes for someone to even talk to me, it took another 15 minutes before my food was ready after I ordered!(My order normally is ready within a minute) Hey cook, what the hell were you cooking the first 15 minutes you stood at the grill staring at me in silence?

Ordered a tofu bowl with brown rice and no veggies. Portion of tofu was a joke. I’ve ordered this at other locations and had a decent serving of tofu. I’m going to include a picture. When my bowl was ready, the cashier quickly threw it together after wiping down dirty tables with and not washing his hands.

I always come here to eat because it’s close to my work, but definitely not coming back on Wednesdays again. Whoever the girl is that was working the front today 1÷13÷16 around 4:00pm, was very rude. No smile, no niceness whatsoever and when I didn’t get veggies on my CHICKENRICEANDVEGGIE bowl she acted like it was my fault when I had told her that exact order. Very disappointed. This place looks like it’s going to lose business seeing the other Unilocal reviews I’ve read on it as well. Service is a HUGE part of keeping customers. I hope they get it together and hire more pleasant employees

SOCHINSY I CANTBELIEVEIT. It was fresh and tasty but the server Elizabeth was weird. Never go back. The place was dead. Wish owners would check who they hire especially with Competition all around. Also found a bone.

Sorry Flame Broiler but you’ve lost me as a customer. I LOVE the food and typically eat from this location about twice per week. The staff and service are great but the new portion sizes are a complete insult. Don’t insult my intelligence by posting a sign telling me that the bowl size is easier to eat from. YOU’VESIGNIFICANTLYREDUCEDTHEPORTION! It’s not my fault that you’ve signed leases in an effort to have a FB on every corner like Subway or Starbucks. I feel bad for the about to be unemployed workers who will suffer from a piss poor business model.

Best food! Try the chicken veggie bowl with onion, brown rice, and white chicken. Place has 2 TVs and seats awesome for groups.

They have the best chicken around, however they have terrible service. I took my mom there and she was yelled at and pointed at by the cashier, she gave her onions when she said no onions and she had beef when she wanted chicken and yet the cashier was really rude and said it was our fault even though she had sold us a chicken veggie bowl. Other than the service, the food is amazing.

Worst service and speed of any flame broiler I’ve been. I have come here multiple times since it’s a convenient location to my house. Every time the service is terrible. Also, they are not consistent with their hours and close an hour early sometimes. I will go out of my way to not go here anymore.

I do not recommend this flame broiler. You don’t get what you pay for. I bought a chicken bowl with the smallest portions I ever seen. This is not the first time this has happened at this location. I didn’t know rice was was so expensive. Never coming here again.

I’m having serious doubts about returning to this location again. Typically, on Fridays and Mondays if I visit this location on my way to work, I will call ahead to place my order so as to beat the lunch rush crowd of people working in the area since I work in Los Angeles. Previously, I called ahead to order and was asked to hold. I was holding for so long that I could hear myself on the restaurant’s own phone when I arrived nearly 7 minutes later. This last time I ordered by phone and was able to give my order. I was told my order would be ready in 5 – 10 minutes. I arrived ten minutes later and my order was not ready. In fact, people who ordered after I did were getting their food before me! Seriously, what’s the point of ordering ahead of time if you’re not going to have my order ready in the time you promised? Furthermore, with this continued lousy service, why should I keep coming back to your establishment? Keep up this service and you’re going to be out of business before long.

It’s Flame Broiler. They’re all the same, and u have no complaints, it’s always fresh, and it’s always good. This one has a pretty big seating area, lots of parking, not outdoor seating though, kind of a bummer in SoCal. It’s in the same parking lot as f&e, so I usually stop here before I go grocery shopping so I don’t buy their whole bakery section. All in all, it’s good and you can always count on it.

Worst customer service EVER!!! They screwed up my rice order with meal and couldn’t even fix it. How hard is that?! Food quality not great and small portion for $ 9. NEVER going back. Do NOT recommend! Zero star if I could!

I can’t believe some of the negative reviews here. This is the best Flame Broiler I’ve been to. The chicken is delicious and always fresh. I drive further just to come to this location!

Pretty standard flame broiler however they take way longer to make your food. I walked in with only one person in line in front of me. The wait for the food to be done is the longest that I have waited in any flame broiler location.

The food is basically good sometimes you get a whole bowl of burnt edges and a couple good pieces of beef or chicken. The last time I went was last week and both the chicken and beef was cooked very well but it seems like the bowl is 80% rice 5% veggies and 15% meat. The hot sauce makes everything taste better without it I wouldn’t be able to eat it. The teriyaki sauce it just too overwhelming. The price is way to much for what you get. But it is better than beef bowl.

I gave them 3 stars because I went to another branch and everything is way better. This is not a ghetto area. I expected a better service.

Poor customer service. Offered a $ 5.95 chicken bowl and drink combo but does not designate that it will not be honored with vegetables. When asked about it after I paid, the worker exclaimed, «oh no, you can’t get it with vegetables.» Also, chicken was dry and over cooked. Perhaps I should have checked Unilocal and all the other similar reviews before I considered eating here for lunch.

This is the new location next to the Chick-Fil-A on Harbor near the 405. Smallish location with decent amount of seating made up of two person tables. I like this setup as it makes it easy to accommodate bigger or smaller groups. During lunch it can get a little busy around here so parking might get tight. They have the condiments awkwardly placed in a center island partially blocking the way of the cashier and seating. They’ll probably need to address this in the future. The food is about on par with the other flame broilers I’ve been to. Quality healthy-ish food(Watch out for the sauces if you’re really counting calories). Overall they seem to do a fine job here. Nothing so remarkable that you should make it a destination to target, but seviceable lunch time fare. This location is super convenient to my work so I’m giving them a little star bump to 4, otherwise 3.5.
