I came in here since a friend told me about it. I got a gel manicure. It started off great, she (I didn’t get her name) did a great job with filing/​shaping my nails and did a really great job with removing the dead cuticles. Unfortunately, her paint job was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I still have polish on the sides of my fingers, she missed a couple of spots near the edges and I know this will lead to chipping. It looks like a DIY job and for $ 26 I expected a better and cleaner job on the polish.

i love coming to this place! Been going for there years. Crystal always does a great job on my gel set. I had one nail that have chipped polish. I went into the shop and Crystal fixed it without hesitation.

I’ve been here twice– they’re really close to my house. Today I just went for a regular mani– pedi and it was only $ 31! They gave me hand and leg massages, scrubbed my feet and really took their time to do a good job. The girls are nice and it was a relaxing, pleasant experience. I recommend it especially if u want to go during the week before 2 cuz they’re not too busy at that time.

I came in for a fix on an another shops work about 2 – 3 months ago and haven’t been anywhere else. Crystal and her girls are absolutely amazing!!! They are very detailed and will shape your nails exactly how you want them.(something very hard to find) I also love that they don’t pack on the acrylic so you don’t have these hard thick claws instead you have a thinner more realistic looking nail. Their color selection is phenomenal they have all kinds of glitter colors pastels matte colors and they’re gel colors. They even have color changing polish that actually works, and it’s gel. As you can tell I like gel. lol I would definitely recommend this shop. I don’t go anywhere else quality service and super affordable there’s no need to go anywhere else.

I have given this place a few chances and today was the last time. My nails look like a five year old did them, see pics. Uneven polish and polish left on my skin…
They are very push almost insulting with upcharges. I always pay extra for callus remover but today when I declined the sugar scrub she told me how it will get rid of all my dry skin on my legs and scrunched her nose at me. If I had even polish and a decent massage I may have paid the upcharge for it but with the mediocre results I know it would not be worth the money. Sad because it’s so close to home and open early!

I got my lashes done by Crystal, who is very sweet and takes her time to make sure my lashes look good. It took a little over an hour to complete a full set. I got the Groupon deal, but you can skip purchasing it. Just mention it and she’ll honor the same price.
I had my nails done here before, and my gel manicure turned out a bit clumpy. Hence, the four stars. I don’t remember the name of the lady who did my manicure, but she didn’t rush, and there was only one other customer. I’m not sure why my manicure turned out subpar. My pedicure was fine.

Crystal did my lashes today. For $ 95 I got like 15 – 20 lashes on each eye. Way too long and unnatural looking. Stupid me bought the fill in 2 weeks later and she will be using short lashes not these unnatural medium lashes. Lashes tickle bc they aren’t placed properly. Go to a lash specialist, not a nail salon for lashes…

Am I talking with Mike, Bette, or Crystal? I walked in at 2:20 and Crystal asked me to wait while she got the room ready. I’m assuming the first lash went on at 2:30. I took a picture of my lashes in my car at 3:22… You do the math bc that isn’t 1.5 hours.

These ladies are wonderful! Came in around 12 on a Tuesday so it wasn’t very crowded. They did my gel manicure and pedicure at the same time so I was out in a flash. They did exactly what I asked for and my nails look great! Definitely will be back!

Terrible place! I’m not even going to mention the service because it should be implied that it will be a lot of shit talking on other clients. I’m vietnamese and they even talked about me assuming I don’t understand. I have never gotten such a bad pedicure! A 15 minute pedicure! Are you kidding? Some may say it’s because it’s $ 15, but 90% of other places cost $ 15-​$ 20 and it’s about 45 minutes with real scrubbing, cleaning, massaging, and filing. This place took 15 minutes! I will never come back! The sad part is I took my boyfriend to get his first time EVER pedicure and he was not impressed! You guys at the nail corner and all go suck on a CU! Stop giving this business a «chance» because that’s what I thought too! I will now make the drive to my lady in orange for a $ 15 pedicure with sugar scrub and 10 minute massage! I learned my lesson!!!

This is normally my spot when I visit Costa Mesa. They’ve always been great. Today however, we made an appointment and 20 min later I’m still sitting with my feet in water. I suppose I’m the sucker for staying. This situation was poorly handled. They should have told us when we made the appointment in the first place.

Worst nail experience ever… Fully cut skin on side of finger not close to nail… she claimed to have done it with the nail file but with the chunk of skin missing it was obviously from the cuticle cutter… my finger continued to bleed for 20 minutes or more… She kept saying sorry sorry and applying some sort of alcohol… I went to take a photo and she tried to stop me by putting her hand in front of it.
I asked for the manager and the manager just said well we said sorry and it was an accident. I asked if they were licensed and they said yes but provided no proof.
They then said to put glue on it to stop the bleeding which I did not allow them to do as it is unsanitary on an open wound.
I informed then that I would not pay for the manicure and she told me I needed to pay for pedicure which I did.
Would never go back.

Crystal is my new go-​to nail gal! I went to her because my friend recommended her and I couldn’t be more pleased. She gave me the perfect ballerina shaped nails that look natural and thin. I wanted a little design and she was able to copy the design of a picture I saw on Instagram. She is very nice, thorough and efficient. They did an excellent job on my pedicure too.

I get why they only have 3 stars…
The normal nail shop I usually go to near by was closed. It was an hour before closing and we decided to go here. There was already 2 people waiting in the spa chairs with 3 other people getting worked on. Us 3 decided to wait to get our Pedicures done.
They estimated us about 30 mins but it really took an hour. The service was good and clean. They didn’t seem rushed when they were working on me but it was awkward cause one of the employee wanted to clean up the shop while there was one more person left to be worked on.
The employees were just arguing back and forth and I understood that they were suppose to be closed early on a Sunday and not the full hours like a weekday. However! They kept accepting walk ins! They took in 3 more! They just couldnt say no!
I felt so bad for the employees but the service was good. Lots of color selections! Nice massage spa chairs and clean work space. $ 16 for a pedicure. Good decent pricing.

I hate to give bad reviews but this was such a big fail I just have to this time …
Absolutely the worst, most unrelaxing mani/​pedi I’ve ever had in my life. Here are my reasons why:
–20 minute wait
–Extra charge for taking off gel from last visit
–slow! 2 hours, 30 min for a mani/​pedi
–Salon was busy which seemed to make my nail tech more careless — she cut me several times while trimming my cuticles (to where I was bleeding) and did nothing more than just say sorry sorry
–Filing/​buffing, scrubbing was so rough I could feel my nail beds burning
–7 minute massage was more like 2 minute massage which was actually ok with me because she was hurting me, rubbing into my veins and cutting off circulation
–Lotion/​oil with the plastic baggy left on way too long — my hands and feet became painfully pruney/​waterlogged.
–Way too many thick coats of nail polish — my nails ended up looking as wrinkled as my fingers and toes :(

Honestly… I came here because Forever nails around the corner was packed out the door and I didnt have much time to spare. So I came to Nail corner despite the 3 stars.
I sat down roght away for a gel removal and regular mani. I like that the tables each have their own LED lighting under the table so you can just stick your hands in there. Its convenient instead of carrying around that boc and moving it.
I was getting my nails done by a lady named sandy. Realllllyyyy sweet lady. Shes been doing nails for 25 years now. English is great. and it was actually her 2nd day on the job at this location. We had a great conversation which made the manicure process fun.
Total was $ 15. Place is clean. Ppl are nice. Price is decent. Multiple employees on staff.
