LINA IS AMAZING. I came in with box-​dyed burgundy hair and left with BEAUTIFUL chocolate brown with blonde lowlight hair. Didn’t know much about her before I came in but it just so happens I came to the right girl! She’s a curly hair specialist! If you have curly hair, you know you can’t just trust anyone with your hair! She made my hair so beautiful and smooth! She’s super young too so she knows all the «in» trends! I’m so obsessed with my hair! Thanks again Lina, see you in 5 months!

I went there on a whim because I lost track of my regular gal, but that’s another story.
Anyway, I was greatly satisfied and happy with my results. I had two months of growth, grey, no less. I was going to let it grow out, but with my daughter’s wedding fast approaching I needed to do something.
Anyway, Lisa listened to me and I got the color I wanted and it was beautiful.

I’ve never written a review on Unilocal before, but I was really happy with my experience at Uptown Image Salon & Spa.
I was nervous to try a new salon, because I have been unlucky with past hairdressers. Stephanie Saenz was really friendly and made me feel comfortable. She knew what she was doing and my hair (I came in for a haircut) came out exactly how I wanted it to. She will most definitely go the extra mile to help you achieve the hair you want. Five stars for Lina.
Lina is an amazing hairstylist. She has cut and styled my hair on several occasions, and she has done an incredible job! I love that she works with me to know exactly what I want and she takes her time to do an amazing job. However, she is so great at what she does, that I have trusted her to do my hair that way she thinks is best, and I have been equally impressed! My sister and I have also been getting our eyebrows threaded by her for several years, and Lina is the BEST! I would not trust anyone else to do my eyebrows, so that is why I have followed Lina from her previous salon. And will continue to follow her. Finally, her customer service is on point. She is always sweet and accommodating to my crazy and unpredictable schedule. She always finds a way to fit me in her schedule, and i always friendly. Thank you Lina!

5 stars for my favorite hairstylist Carrie Moody! After one of my mother’s coworkers recommended her, I decided to try Carrie out. The haircut was perfect and remained in good shape for weeks — and her work is consistently excellent. I have been going to Carrie for my haircuts every couple of months for over a year now. In addition to being extremely competent at her job, Carrie is very pleasant and friendly. She is quick and efficient with her work: a women’s haircut will take her about 45 minutes to wash, cut, dry and style. People like my hairdo and I am happy to tell them that Carrie was responsible for it.
The salon itself is large and a little noisy, which ordinarily I would not care for. But with Carrie doing my hair, I do not mind.

Followed my hairstylist Lina to this salon. Lina is great and I love the atmosphere at Uptown Image. Everyone is professional and friendly. Check out Lina’s work.

If you’re looking for someone who can give you a fun and playful style, see MandiJo! She clearly loves what she does, and it comes through in her care for the client and in her attention to detail. She’ll take her time making sure your color is how you envisioned it. I’ve had a hard time finding a stylist who can get my colors right every time (my hair is fuchsia and purple). Mandi is the first stylist to get my hair right every time! If I want a subtle or even a drastic change, she’ll mix colors until it’s exactly what I like. She’s always so eager to try new colors on me, and the outcome is always on point!

Started going here about 8 months ago when I moved to the area and I fell in love. Mandi Jo is amazing at both giving me amazingly colored hair and keeping me entertained while she fixes all I put my hair through. She can pretty much do anything you want and in my eyes this lady can do no wrong. See what I mean and go follow her on Instagram @mandijo_hairdesigns The salon is full service and does all types of salon and spa type services. It is such a casual comfortable environment. All of the stylists are nice and friendly (especially Mandi!!!). This is definitely not one of those places with the stuck up stylists who turn their nose at you and make you feel like you don’t belong.

Peter Vargas is awesome that I’ve been his client for 14 years now! He’s always done a fabulous job with my hair! Everyone always gives great reviews of my new do! Gotta love Peter!

I just visit this nice location for the first time and I was so happy to get my hair done by Lina again (I followed her from her previous salon because she’s amazing). Salon looks huge and so clean ! Lina is an excellent professional and an amazing person! I’ve done my hair extensions with her before and it looks like I have all the hair naturally, seriously she is the person to go ! And now the challenge was to go from almost brunette to blond and she nailed!!! Got the color I was looking for and my Brazilian blowout. The best part is that she is honest with you, I always had the best time doing my hair with her ! Her products is high quality and she make sure you have a good experience with her. I highly recommend Lina to everyone who is looking for a good and quality hair stylist .

This was my first time with Irene and it won’t be my last. She is amazing. my nails have never looked better. I usually get them done in NYC when I go every 8 weeks but I won’t be waiting anymore.

I’ve been a loyal client with Lena for several years now. She’s just as professional today as she was the day I first walked into her salon. I have curly hair and go in for color at least once a month and no one can hold a candle to how she transforms my bushy dull lifeless hair into shiny beautifully straightened and healthy looking hair using only a blow dryer. She is an expert colorist and knows just the right combination of hair products to get my hair into shape! If you’ve lost hope of ever having healthy shiny beautiful hair go to Lina. Not only is she a great stylist, but she also threads eyebrows and facial hair! Her customer service skills are impeccable and I always feel so pampered and spoiled. I promise you won’t want to go anywhere else after your experience with Lena! She is truly a miracle worker!

Of course Peter comes through again! I love my hair it’s the perfect blonde I’ve been wanting. I used to have jet black hair. And he managed to always take care of my hair and turn it into the color I’ve always wanted! He so sweet we always have a blast! He’s the best !

I don’t know where to begin, but over all fantastic. Jarred was extremely helpful and fast. I made an appointment the week prior (due to holiday chaos). I went to the beauty salon recommended and picked up a pack of Elegante virgin Indian remy 22 inch bundle, and headed to Uptown. My appointment was at 1:30 and I was out by 2:15. I only needed two rows but my hair looked amazing! Jarred is the blending King. I couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to go back.

I highly recommend Stephanie Saenz she has done my highlights shes really good & doesn’t charge a arm & a leg she’s so sweet & she has beautiful hair so I felt comfortable going to her she just did my Brazilian blowout yesterday so of course I wanted to rave about her so make your appointments

Peter Vargas is the most amazing hair artist I’ve ever met, and I was raised by a hair stylist! I walked in as a red head and wanted blonde. He was super professional and worked with me, not only taking into consideration what I wanted, but caring enough to do what was right for the health of my hair.
Two sessions later, and I am beyond ecstatic about my new look! I got so many compliments after the first session, I can’t wait to show off my hair this time! Thanks Peter! You are now the only stylist I will ever go to for color!

I have never been so upset in my life! When it comes to my hair i am very picky and i let that be known when i sat down in the chair! Peter Vargas was horrible! he did the exact opposite of what i wanted! i wanted a chocolate brown and the color came out horrible!!! I wanted long layers in a Vee and i made it know that i DID NOT WANT SHORT HAIR! as soon as i seen it i was upset and when he told me how much it was i cried because i didnt want to pay that much for something that came out so horrible. As soon as he seen me upset he came at me with an attitude and acted like an asshole. Instead of trying to fix the problem he just made it worse so at that point i did not pay! DO NOT SIT IN HIS CHAIR!!!
