Great beer selection. The servers are very attentive and it has a hometown vibe to it.

If you’re looking for a friendly bar that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time, this is the spot. The bartenders and Brewers are always willing to chat beer, life, whatever your fancy may be. There are certainly regulars here, just as there are at Tanner’s, but they will always throw you a smile and never give off the too-local-for-you vibe. In general the crowd is older, I’d say 40+ on a weeknight. I’m 24 but I still feel like I fit in. They have free wifi and I like to come work evenings here while I sip the amazing Dylan’s Dubbel. There always seems to be a new seasonal beer on tap and ask any Brewer or bartender and they’ll gladly tell you the process and ingredients of your drink. They let you sample before you order a glass as well. The outdoor space is great if the weather is nice and they bring out space heaters in the winter. There are also a good amount of weekly events and live music throughout the month. Check out the Johnny Awesome band that one of the Brewers, Amos, plays drums for.

Just what the area needed. Excellent beers and a great whiskey/bourbon selection. You can’t go wrong either selecting your own palate or letting the bartenders select for you.

We really liked this place. We sat at the bar, which is apparently the most fun. Bartenders were cool, beer was unique and, aside from having to order food from next door, it was a great experience. They’ve got a wide range of beers to choose from, all of which were fun to try. I think we spent over $ 80 for two people for food and drinks, but we stayed for about three hours. Anyway, it was fun. We’ll be back!

With 20 or so in-house beers this place is a gem. While there are a handful of apps on offer, along with wine and hard liquor, it’s the beer that is the main draw. And the variety runs from lighter German ales to barrel-aged stouts. All are well made.

Been a fan of Tanners since we moved to Georgia in 2008. However when they opened up Cherry Street it became truly something special. Great food and now great beer. Beer varieties brewed on site that rival the best The US has to offer. This is a gem and one day they will be known along side with Georgia’s other top brewers. Go for the beer but you will also love the food. Good steaks and prime rib. Roasted chicken is their speciality. In a great area, family friendly and laid back. Live music is a plus. Need more space as it is always busy.

Really a good place with loads of potential. Like the other reviewer posted, they have a great variety of quality house brews. Very cool thing in they are committed to giving back to the community via proceeds from various menu offerings. Today, I tasted the Tail Waggin Pale, Coconut Porter, and the Hefeweizen to span the spectrum of my pallet and really get an idea of how the brews are made. The pale ale was a bit underwhelming with regard to the hop aroma and character of the beer. The malt profile was very nice, however it seemed like the brewer may have cut a corner or 2 when hopping this beer. While tasty and drinkable, it was a disappointment in terms of what I look for in a pale ale. The Coconut Porter was my favorite of the 3 brews, which is surprising considering porter is one of my least favorite style. Well made and the coconut did not overpower the chocolate character. Very drinkable and demanded a full pint. The Hefeweizen was also very tasty and provided everything I want in a Hefe. It was just an all around solid beer. Will order a full pint next trip up. The down side to this place is while they have a great selection of house beers, they will only give you the flight price for 4 beers they select. So in order to taste the beers I wanted to taste(None of which were high ABV brews) I had to pay $ 2 each which seems high. Why they won’t let customers pick the 4 beers for a flight is beyond me, as it is was a serious let down for my first impression. Also, the servers could stand to be more attentive to their tables. It took about 5 minutes after sitting down to get a drink order and probably another 5 after to get our food order. The place it worth a try and I will re-visit at some point. They have a good thing going and certainly room to improve.
