For me, my burger was good, my beer was great, the service was excellent. 5 stars. That said, my buddy hated it, his greek salad tasted dirty and his beer tasted watered down! No stars! He sent the salad back, LOL!

I will start by saying this is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always great and the beer is even better. However, I left after this visit feeling dirty. The place is just gross. The patio was so nasty we couldn’t even eat out there. The floors are just downright disgusting. Please close down for a day, wash your tables, scrub the floors and pressure watch the patio so you can continue being one of my favorite spots!

We can’t stay away from here! Love the food and the people! Love how they remember us and always make an effort to come over and chat! Great place to go for fish on Friday even if you are not Catholic! AND, the beer is always awesome thanks to Nick Tanner and his knowledge of brewing!

Decided to try this place on a Tuesday night based on other reviews from locals. This place is pretty good, has unique beers micro brewed next door and had live music, which was a nice touch. The layout of the dining area is very tight and small, very lucky it wasn’t too busy since it was a rainy night. We ordered the buffalo chicken lips and queso to start. Both were actually really good, the lips were double wrapped/coded with something and had a really good crunch to them. The queso and chips were delicious as well. We then ordered an order of chicken finger basket, was a little skeptical of anything claimed world famous and how quickly it came out of the kitchen, the fries were crispy and hot, we kept waiting to eat the chicken because the waitress never informed us that the famous homemade honey mustard was already on the table, chicken was still really good with a good crisp, they didn’t cool down well though – tenderness completely gone, I’m thinking the chicken was overly cooked before being deep fried. The last meal we had was the patty melt, we added mushrooms but never got them. Really didn’t matter as the patty melt was basically a run of the mill bland hamburger with a slice of Swiss cheese on top served with rye bread, patty melts should be shredded beef with cheese and onions throughout so that every bite is goey and cheesy. Would def not order that item again. Everything else was pretty good compared to let’s say Applebee’s. Food: 3.5 stars, service: 3 stars, dining area: 2 stars and entertainment: 4 stars with overall 3 – 3.5 stars

The food here isn’t bad, and it’s usually fresh, but there are a few reasons that my family no longer enjoys eating at Tanners in the Vickery. One, the quality of the food and the service are extremely unpredictable. Two, expect to be packed in like sardines while you attempt to enjoy your food. Three, and what finally caused my review… They consistently play extremely loud music over the speakers in this tiny place which makes it impossible to hear what the person sitting across from you is trying to say, let alone a waiter or waitress. It’s like dining in some sort of mutant night club. Definitely a last resort for us, only at certain times of day, and because it’s in such close proximity to where we live.

Great food, nice prices, and fast service. The seating is a little tight but whenever I have been there it hasn’t been an issue.

The seating is the issue here. It is also a magnet for people coming from soccer, baseball and football fields and they come in dressed as such. That is the only problems with the place. The food is great, we have always had good service and it’s great that the beer selection is wide for your taste. Despite the seating, we will be back many times.

Was very excited to try this place. I was disappointed. My first dish was the turkey dinner meal. The turkey itself was very salty. Second time I went I got the gyro and it was pretty bland and nothing to get excited about. The best thing we have gotten there was their chocolate cake. So I highly recommend that.

I’m disappointed in myself for not trying this place a little sooner. It had a great vibe and the food was quite good as well. They serve a lot of chicken and that seems to be what most people order. I definitely want to come back and try one of their salads because everyone that came by looked so good. The bartenders were very friendly and on top of everything. Recommended

Can actually say that it was my first with them and the worst meal that I have had in about 3 years. Waitress started by telling us that they were out of 7 main dishes. First beer was great but never saw the waitress to get another beer. We had 4 people and order 2 hamburgers, a NY strip sandwich and a ribeye. In spite of medium rare/rare request all the meals were overdone as in shoe leather. I politely told and showed waitress medium rare meal was dry and was overcooked and I didn’t eat ¾ of the meal but nobody seemed to care. When she came for the check i pointed out that I have been waiting to order a beer for 30 minutes(never did see that beer). By the end my party of 4 agreed it was he worst service and food they have ever had. Friend said that the beer was great next door but the food was awful. I had no idea of how right they were.

Food was terrific! I was looking for something more than just your standard Waffle House for breakfast and I found it! Took my sister to breakfast here this morning and the omelette a were gigantic and delicious. Service was fast and friendly, Would definitely come back here.

I’ve eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here — and been pleased with every visit. Menu is reasonably priced and their brewed on site beer is quite good(haven’t had that for breakfast yet, though). If there is any criticism it is that the tables are as crowded together as a Manhattan restaurant. But weather permitting, you can always dine al fresco.

Great experience… The staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Our food was served quickly and tasted great. It was our first time dining there but we are definitely planning to go again. I would recommend the Fish and Chips.

Great spot in Vickery Village. I’ve had breakfast and lunch and had great experiences. The chicken biscuit with cheese for breakfast was awesome, and the chicken lips with queso hit the spot. Sweet tea for life.

After hearing about the famous«chicken fingers» raved by locals, me and some coworkers decided to come try it a couple months back. Long story short, we like the place a lot. Since i’m only in this area for lunch i stick to the lunch salad, which comes with the chicken fingers(delicious) and my coworkers get the chicken finger plate with fries(I’m trying to be somewhat healthy, ha!) Service is prompt and we have never had an issue. We’ll still come here once every other week. Try it out! Plus they have homemade brews on tap!

We went for brunch one Sunday and it was just what we hope for in a brunch: good food, nice ambiance(live music that was just the right volume), and a welcoming atmosphere. This is a restaurant with a bar, but the place looks much more like a restaurant than a bar — it’s clean, bright, and well laid out with décor that just works. I had the chicken and waffles and the beau had the Western skillet. The chicken was crisp and perfect, and the waffles had this amazing raspberry and maple sauce drizzled over it(and I’m not normally a fan of raspberry syrups). The skillet was solid, too, and the accompanying biscuit — yummy flavor, although personally I prefer big fluffy biscuits over more compact ones. Definitely glad we checked it out! We’ll be back; this is one of those places I could see becoming a favorite of ours.
