The owner needs to explain what is happening. Are they going bankrupt? Did they change owners? Last month, I noticed the lack of care of the employees. They became lazy and showed up to work in dirty hoodies. Then all of a sudden, the new girl was the only one still working. Also, they were still selling pastries that were at least 4 days old. Last Saturday, I came around 9:30 and it was closed. I miss the Asian girl with the short hair. She was on top of things.

Okay, I’m just going to say. If you come here to study, I think this place is 5⁄5 stars. — I literally came here for two weeks in a row — from opening to closing to study for my exam. And it’s the quietest little café ever. Their wifi is super fast, it’s nice and sunny with plush chairs and enough outlets. There’s not a lot of customers so it’s a good place for you to focus on whatever you have to do. If you come here to drink or eat, I think this place is 1⁄5 stars. — I’m going to say, this is NOT a fault in terms of the service. The people there are extremely friendly. I love how when you order tea or coffee«for here» then they serve it to you — which I find really sweet. HOWEVER. in the two weeks that I was there, you know all those fantastic pictures you see on Unilocal?Yeah, those menus are just not available. At one point, they even ran out of house coffee. HOUSE. COFFEE.(Although that one they did manage to restock a day after) Not in the middle of the day, they ran out, from the time they opened. — They serve the same sandwiches and pastries — I actually don’t think they are fresh either. I just found it odd. If they had two sandwiches the day before, they only have two sandwiches the next day when it opens even though there is space to put three more. I’m actually a little scared for the people who eat the sandwiches because it sits out in the sun all day. and then it seems to get served the next day. — I understand that there is a renovation going on in this café, so maybe it’s undergoing some changes. but I don’t think that still can validate some of the things that happen in this café. OVERALL Love the place if I’m there to study. But not somewhere that I would come if I want decent coffee or pastries. However, I do appreciate the workers for their friendliness.

Skip the ugly boring looking pastries(for that you have always Paris Baguette not that far away) and enjoy a good cup of coffee at Beija Flor Café while checking how some people do some drawings in their sketchbooks(me included) and also you can get your Edible magazine and savor what is going on in the Bay Area farm-to-table movement. I liked this coffee shop, I could recharge my phone(as someone mentioned there are plenty of outlets) while enjoying a me + unknown others time. Maybe people who start talking more as it is kind of quite place, but it also makes it a good place to go and read or do some studying.

I love their Hot Chocolate! We bought the hot chocolate for our kids, but I ended up drinking ‘em cause it was so good. It was not too sweet. And it had a Rich and Full chocolate flavor. Too bad the place was under renovation when we went. They had a limited menu. So we contented ourselves with Tea, Iced Tea Strawberry, and Hot Chocolate. We did get their Mango cake(sorry I can’t remember the actual name). My hubby and kids liked it. We also had these custard or crème filled chocolates that looked like cupcakes. I was shocked to find out that these tiny things cost about $ 4.50/each. But both our kids finished them and even licked their hands off of the chocolate that melted on their fingers. Hopefully, we can still go back when they’re fully operational. Both servers were very helpful and polite.

My boyfriend and I got a iced vanilla latte and 2 tiramisu bites. The coffee was delicious, but the tiramisu bites… they were the bees knees. They were so good my boyfriend went back up and bough the rest in the case. And they are only a dollar each. Such a steal. The chairs were comfortable and the baristas were extremely friendly and welcoming. They even let us keep the bites in the fridge to pick up later because we had an appointment to go to and didn’t want them to get messed up in the car. It’s very cute inside with quotes all over the walls. Wishing there was one in north bay where we live!

I’ve came here a couple times and I’ve always loved the drinks at this place. The wifi is wonderful as well and I have never found it slow or neither has it ever lagged. I am giving Bejia Flor 3 stars today because of a particular employee. She has Shoulder length black hair and looks either Native American or Mexican. Upon giving her my order she did not look at me once. She was looking down while I was talking and then turned her back to finish making a bagel when I was still telling her my order. She then told me to hold on so she could switch the music playing and then came back to finally write down my order… There was another older woman employee loading down tables and asked her for something and she ignored her as well until the employee told her to look at her in the eyes. I’ll still come back here no doubt, but this woman needs an attitude check.

I come here to study all the time because the noise level is really low and plenty of light. The drinks are also good! Nowadays, it’s all about the pearl milk tea hype, and people tend to forget the beauty of a latte every once in a while. Beija Flor’s green tea is also refreshing and lets me focus while I do my work. If you want something sweet, they have many sundaes. As I mentioned before, the environment is very quiet and calm, which is great for studying. However, the desks are pretty small, and the space is a little cramped. However, I still like studying at Beija Flor as opposed to Starbucks or such because the drinks and food here are so much better and less pricey. Overall, I definitely recommend at least trying this place just to explore different menus and places to hang out or go on dates at.

Beija flor is a nice name for a coffee shop. The name in pôrtuguese means flower kiss or something like that. Small coffee shop with little less than 10 tables next to the merlion restaurant. The owner is a native of brasil, from what i last heard(super beautiful country btw), but unfortunately, there are no brazilian snacks. I’ve only had their iced peppermint mocha at $ 4.25 after tax. Little bit sweet from the chocolate, but ok. No complaints here, but why not play some brazilian music with a brazilian name and owner? Or serve a bit of brazilian snacks? I just miss running around exploring brasil ok? Closed sundays and restroom next to entrance. Cards accepted.

I don’t ever really order fruit teas, but for some reason Beija Flor’s fruit teas are really good. Usually, the teas are too sweet and too superficial tasting, but not this one! The inside is good for studying or working as well, they have several tables and comfy couches too.

On the smaller side and is very quiet. Good study location, but if you’re looking for a place to talk and catch up with a friend, sit outside otherwise whisper. It’s definitely a quiet café. CURRENTLYREMODELING! so VERYLIMITED menu. Try to call before you go to check if they have their desserts and such back. The current stuff up in pictures aren’t actually available right now :(

The coconut latte here is sooo good, and I’m not even a fan of coconut! It’s sweet and creamy and definitely tastes more like a dessert than a coffee. I’ve recently been trying to cut out dairy from my diet(and am failing), and this place offers soy milk and almond milk(not as good as real milk in lattes …) The internet speed here hits over 15 Mbps, making this the café with the best internet that I am aware of. Plus, there is also an outlet for every table pretty much! And two TVs playing the sports of the day. And Sublime is playing in the background right now! And they accept Five Stars!(Last time I came, some old man had like 230 five star points for this place and refused to use them). I consider it a good day when I come here, order a medium drink, and watch a movie using the nice WiFi. :-) The only thing I don’t like is that I have to drive like 25 minutes to get here from Milpitas. This café has tons of potentials. What is evident here now is the warmth and coziness that I so admire in a café. The student population frequents this place. Not the teeny bopper kind. It’s the overachievers that would like to run the world one day. Cozy. Warm. Outside seating if you’re so inclined. I tried their Lemon Mint Tea. It was amazing! Thanks Vu! The chairs are so comfortable! We had a really long day that wasn’t even half done. I could’ve passed out then and there! Great staff. Strong wifi. Just needs more colors. They serve wine by the glass. I wouldn’t have known if the information wasn’t shared by a friend. I’ve only known of a place that’s both a café and serves wine too. Unfortunately that place is gone! So with this in mind. B.F.C should display their bottles of wines. I’ve spied some really good ones but they’re hiding behind the bottom counter. Why??? Show it! Do it!

Who the heck travels 1 hour and 20 something miles to a café to study? It’s yo girl Chena. But to be honest it’s also an excuse for me to eat all the amazing food in SJ! At least I’m honest?:) ~.:Bread(Pros):.~ –free wifi(pretty good connection might I dare say) –plenty of plugs –very quiet atmosphere, which is why I come here to study for dayyyyys — you have your range of ice tea, latte, expresso, smoothie, macchiato, etc –there are baked goods and pastries, breakfast sandwich and bagels –supposedly there’s desserts??? Like banana split, affrogato, and fondue… But I guess since they are remodeling they aren’t serving it? –MORNINGSTAFFONLY: great service! Very friendly –nice bathroom! –I sit there for 8 hours straight sometimes and they never give me looks or kick me out –they have SHADES so if it gets too sunny you can lower it down! –ample parking in the parking lot ~.:Crumbs(cons):.~ –I sit there from 10am to 8pm on most Sundays and I see the staff transition. The ones from morning to about 2pm are probably the MOST friendliest people I met. But once they leave and these two guys take over it’s like a whole new vibe and it’s not a good one. They aren’t that friendly and they’re lazy to make anything. They’re always in the back so when I want to order something again after sitting for so long I have to wait 15 – 20 minutes until they want to get back to the counter. The other guy is constantly talking to his friend or his girl, still trying to confirm their relationship(girl instinct) haha –limited seatings! On busy days you probably won’t get to sit. Other than that, great place to chill, catch up with a friend, go on coffee runs with yo significant other, whatever floats your boat!

Very soothing and great environment to study. The coffee is good! I got the coconut latte and friend got hazelnut, both were very good and delicious. The café is small, quiet, comfy and not as loud as chromatic. The coffee here is by far better as well IMO. They also have snacks and food here for your choosing. Overall, it you want good coffee, quiet place to study then this is the place for you! They have nice comfy chairs, tables and some outlets. Seating is mostly 2 people or less, not good for groups! Will come back to study. Recommend for all studiers!

This place easily became a favorite of mine. It’s located in the same plaza as daiso, wingstop, verde, beard papa’s, etc, but is easily missed because it’s towards the front, next door to the pot sticker place. It is where it’s a grind coffee used to be. One of my go to study places. Fondue-I first came here for the fondue which was over priced, about $ 20 for the big size. The chocolate wasn’t too sweet, the fruits were all sweet and not mushy, although everything was good, I don’t know if it was worth $ 20 because you could easily cut up your own fruit/bread/pretzels and me chocolate at home, but it’s definitely worth trying once and it’s nice and convenient to have while catching up with friends or something. Iced tea– I think this a place has the best iced tea, in my opinion. It’s refreshing and full of flavor. Not to mention pretty decently priced for big to go cups. My favorite is the peach, but I’ve tried them all and would recommend any. There are real peach slices inside and they use the pebble like ice instead of cubes of ice. Ice cream sampler-4 scoops of ice cream, depends on the avail flavors. We got chocolate, banana, green tea, and strawberry. The chocolate is really rich, banana tasted exactly as banana and personally I don’t think it should be an ice cream flavor because, the green tea is okay, and the strawberry was really good. As much as I love ice cream, I probably wouldn’t get the ice cream sampler again because there isn’t anything I could say that makes it special or worth wanting. Affogato-highly recommend! The vanilla ice cream and the espresso complimented each other really well and it’s a large enough serving that you can share with another person. Coffee cream-I saw on Unilocal that they had some kind of dessert drink that included coffee, whip cream, and ice cream. Different from the affogato because it’s not straight espresso shots. When I went, they only had strawberry and green tea ice cream, the cashier(who is wonderful and smiley and nice allllllll the time) said she wasn’t sure how those flavors would mix with the coffee, but I said I would try the strawberry anyway. Note-don’t ever mix anything with coffee unless it’s vanilla or coffee ice cream. The flavors did not mix. The strawberry was so sweet it made the coffee taste bitter and they did not harmonize at all. I checked my bank account and noticed she didn’t charge me for it, so unexpected! But very nice.

I love this place! It’s been in my hometown for a while, but I didn’t notice it until my sister brought it up. This place needs to be more hyped up because it is definitely more fancy than your ordinary coffee shop! My sister and I purchased an Affrogato with vanilla ice cream and a Chai Latte. She heightened my expectations for the Affrogato, as my sister explained how a bunch of reviewers before us gushed about this delicious dessert and I can definitely vouch for them. The vanilla ice cream was delicious, and its quality was much more pure and flavorful than what you could buy in a carton from Safeway. It was actually rich-tasting ice cream that was very satisfying with every bite. The coffee syrup inside of it was a bit bitter to my liking, but I’m pretty sure that’s how it was supposed to be made. This dessert was still nevertheless really tasty, but I’d like to try the Espresso Cream next time. Also, the Chai Latte was good, as it had a bit of a kick to it with each sip and it wasn’t watered down or flavorless at all. Employees are super nice here, and the place is super organized with not many people in the morning. I recommend it as a great, litted coffee shop to study at. If I weren’t graduating soon, I would have came here years ago to study and grab a coffee on the side! PS. They use Fivestars here, yay! :)

I stopped by on a hot day to get some studying done. There aren’t many seats or tables inside so it can get really crowded but we were able to grab a spot. Their fruity iced teas are super refreshing and flavorful and I love how they take the extra step to put small slices of fresh fruit inside. This is probably my favorite place for fruit teas now around the area. The smoothies are on the sweeter side but still really good. During my afternoon here, it was fairly quiet especially when the music was not on in the background. You could definitely hear a pin drop which weirdly enough is a quality I love in cafes. I much prefer no music on. Beija Flor is one of the few places in Cupertino that haven’t been completely overtaken by high schoolers, college kids, or mobs of people chatting loudly. Will definitely return!

Seriously though, my heart skips a beat every time I think«Coffee and Wine». My two favorite things in life! The service is especially attentive and efficient. The wifi? Great. I got an Americano($ 3.25?) and it took me by surprise how smooth it was, almost to a point of sweetness. One of the most round espresso blend I’ve ever tasted. Wines range from $ 5-$ 12 a glass, with bottle options. They don’t have a wide selection of whites though, and most whites are on the cheap side $ 5. I was staring at the tiramisu and marscapone coppa($ 4.8) but I’m saving it for next time… and the soy chai latte too… I love the atmosphere too, people chatting but not too loudly, half of the crowd on their computers. Workers greeted numerous customers by their names, which is always a good sign. Great place to check out.

Spring break calls for random hangouts at cafes like Beija Flor. Got the strawberry iced tea with a coppa mascarpone dessert. The tea is super fresh with a nice a subtle sweetness to it. There’s also strawberries in it, yay! As for the mascarpone dessert, damn son, that was good. Super creamy, smooth and light. It wasn’t overly sweet too. I want moar now. Coming back here for the tea and dessert soon. PS: Employees here are awesome!

Came by for dessert the other night as this place took over It’s a Grind. My friend ordered a latte and it looked meh… the latte art looked like a mess… Ordered the tiramisu and it was okay. …apparently it was brought in and it wasn’t super fresh. The staff was friendly and they were making burritos behind the counter at 10 pm at night?!?
