Dave and his team were very helpful in our search for a home. They were very personal and took time to get to know us personally, what we were looking for in a house, and not pressuring us into buying something that we did not feel comfortable with. When we found the house we wanted, they stepped up and got everything done that needed to be in a timely manner and took care of everything to ease our minds.

What can I say? Dave and his assistant Ben are the cream of the crop!
Dave is a sponsor of my cycling team and was the natural choice when it came to selecting a realtor for our home purchase. I knew that an absolute beast on the bike would be an absolute beast of a negotiator.

I worked with Dave over the course of the last four months on buying raw land in the Santa Cruz Mountains, which closed just last week. At every step of the way, he was absolutely on top of the situation. Astoundingly so.
Directly due to Dave’s expertise, responsiveness, and professionalism, and fluidity at negotiation, I was able to get nearly 10% off the asking price, had contingencies on our offer that completely protected my interests throughout the purchase process, and successfully navigated the maze of Santa Cruz County Planning Office procedures to the point of having my well drilled and septic site evaluation approved. Even then, while I was struggling under insane workloads at my job to allocate enough time to the process to keep things moving, he expertly negotiated escrow extension, balancing my costs with the sellers’ desires with thoughtful care. And he took up the torch with my contractors, getting them moving even while I was chained to my desk: a service I wouldn’t have expected from anybody.
His many former years in the general contracting business provide him unique experience that made him absolutely the best choice I could have made when it came to buying my lot, and I can’t speak highly enough of how this all panned out. The way he executed for my purchase leaves me 100% confident that he would be an absolutely excellent choice for any real estate transaction.
Moreover, he plans to continue to provide guidance to me as I continue with my building process. Having his knowledge at hand has proved to be invaluable, and I can only expect that fact to be continually reaffirmed.

Dave is an extremely professional and knowledgeable agent. He was always very timely in getting the documents done and the place ready. He helped tremendously in sorting offers to help get the best deal. I was shocked how much he ended up getting for my condo and even more shocked when he got the highest bidder to pay a little more. I would not hesitate to have him handle future real estate transactions.

Dave is a very friendly, caring, and a knowledgeable person and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him in our home buying process. It took us close to 6 months to find our «perfect home» and Dave was very patient throughout, in any kind of questions/​concerns we had and you know there are tons of those when it comes to first time home buyers :) He made sure we «fell in love» with the place we buy and that is all he cared about.
Dave was really kind enough to drive us around multiple locations in the bay and see what each had to offer in terms of price/​sq ft and we finally settled to niche our search in Mountain View where we’ve always rented. We ended up going for a flip-​townhouse and were really nervous on getting into it. After having moved-​in for a few weeks now, we are very happy with the place and really, thankful to Dave for getting us this good deal!
A few other details I love about Dave is he is a perfectionist and very detail oriented. Given his experience in construction business every single open-​house we went he gave us very good information on fixing-​up minor/​major things which helped us understand the cost estimate we may have to invest in future. Dave would often take us to properties prior/​after open house just so we had enough time to check out the property at our own pace.
He was very accessible by email/​call/​text or in-​person and has worked with us as late as ~2am in a situation where we made up our mind put an offer on a property last minute!
I could actually go on-​on about Dave :) but I’ll stop here and just say he is an awesome person and is more of a friend than an agent and I would recommend him to anyone who wants to buy or sell.

Realtors are easy to find but ones that are thorough and knowledgeable are hard to come by. Dave stands out because he is not just a realtor but he has a background in contracting/​building, knows MV like the back of his hand (he is a long time resident), and his research methodology is like an engineer (detailed and thorough). He’s helped us look at areas from along the peninsula down to Santa Cruz and would be on point with us as we are doing our research as well. He is great to work with and has been patient with us in finding the right place. I couldn’t be any more pleased with him. he’s just awesome!
