Teriyaki Experience

HORRIBLE food. My friend and me ordered spicy chicken and pineapple chicken with brown and white rice. The chicken was totally dry and tasteless, it was stale. The rice was undercooked and tasteless.
Above all, there were no spices… Waste of money… It really deserves ZERO star.

I had a good experience. The food tastes pretty good and the lady working at the time was nice.

great japaneese food .when I always come to cupertino I try food here in teriyaki .I have tried in all japaneese restaurants but if u want real japaneese taste try here .One of the best japaneese cuisines in the bay area .I always try famous teriyaki, yakishobha noodles and udon noodles these are too good. The lady over there cooks so good.

This is the saddest food court in the world. It’s always eerily empty and depressing. Needed a quick snack while running errands in the mall. None of the restaurants in the food court look appetizing enough to eat at. So I got a plate of Gyoza. Seemed more palatable than the offerings from Burger King or Subway. 1.99 for a plate. Not too bad, they did the job. I don’t think I would order a full meal here. Or at any other establishment in this food court… Everything is so empty, I can’t imagine the food being fresh.

This place is a disgrace on so many levels.
I ordered the spicy pork… Got about 4 pieces of dry, overcooked pork, a pile of overcooked veggies…
For some reason I was dumb enough to also have ordered 3 wings. And of course they were ice cold and looked like they have been sitting around for weeks.
I ended up throwing everything away. I hate wasting food, but this was barely even food.

If I can give this place a negative star, I will. This is the worse place I have ever been to. The meat are dry and the fried rice is just dry brown rice and charged me $ 18 for 6 ounces of meat each. Do not go here. Waste of money.

Super bad. I think one of the worst teriyaki fast food in the Bay Area.

The taste of my chicken teriyaki plate was horrible. The sauces were disgusting and the bottles were dirty /​slippery.
The eggroll was fried, soaked with oil.
The mall it is located in is a bit creepy as well. Kind of desertic, one day before Xmas: a lot of shops were closed. Not because people decided to be reasonable and not fall into the consumption world — but because the shops, I guess, are boring and maybe pricey… I don’t know.
I don’t like to write bad reviews… but I felt kind of obligated to share my opinion when something is really bad.

this place is horrible. i paid nearly $ 9 for a noodle soup and it was horrible. The beef tasted like plastic and the noodles were microwaved. I’ve never tasted food this bad in my life. The only good thing here was Coke Zero and that’s just depressing. I would never recommend this place as it doesn’t even deserve a 1 star review.

Yes, there is a worse place than panda express and its called teriyaki experience. period.

I am surprised this place is open and not shut down. Placed order fast and then waited 20 minutes for food when there was only 1 person in front of me. The food itself she made in two sessions so the first half was cold. Not sure why she did not make the size portion to begin with. The looks of the food was so sad. It was pretty much saying I am too pathetic to eat. Small and just so unappealing. Totally not fresh, not that I was expecting fresh, but at least presentable. Don’t go here. Go to the Burger King in the Food court instead.

I came here with my husband after work to watch a movie at the theatre inside the mall. We were both hungry so we decided to explore the mall food court to grab a bite. We both decided on teriyaki experience, the pictured food seemed decent and healthy. We should have taken the fact that we were the only ones ordering there food from here as a club.
To begin, we found it weird and inappropriate that the cashier that took our order was also the cook that cooked my noodle dish and my husbands rice bowl on the hot plate.
I got the spicy chicken yakisoba noodle bowl. The noodles were definitely not yakisoba noodles by any extent of the imagination, they looked more like over cooked linguini noodles. To make this worse, the chicken was very dry and tasted old, and the sauce was so bland and disgusting. My husband got the spicy chicken over steamed rice, he also dislikes it very much, because of the bland flavor, and dry old tasting chicken.
I will never go back to this awful place. The fact that an establishment with such poor quality and stale food stays in business, is mind boggling. If I could this place would and should receive ZERO stars!!!

My first time visiting this fast food restaurant. The menu looked good but not in reality.
I ordered #8 which clearly stated that $ 8.89 comes with brown rice, broccoli, mix vegetables and teriyaki Salmon. As I was paying, the wife/​owner put on additional charge for brown rice. I asked her why did she charge me for brown rice, she showed me #1 combo says so because #1 comes with only white rice, but that wasn’t what I ordered. She then just said «you want your 50 cents then?» I took it but that was just not a very honest business with bad attitude. Of course she already charged me tax on top of my 50 cents and didn’t offer to return. When I received my meal, she mixed white rice with brown rice on my plate with so little of vegetable with a piece of dried salmon. I paid over $ 10 and got a disgusting plate of food.
This was the worst experience I ever encountered. They certainly did not care about customer’s feeling and just wanted to snatch your money.

GROSS!!! I came here on Sunday– no wait, no people in the mall… really not too many choices at Vallco for food. The staff was friendly…
I ordered my food and received my cup– went to the fountain drink station and it was sticky and gross… A small cockroach looking bug dropped into my cup when pouring my tea. I immediately told the guy who was at the grill cooking my order and his response was to throw the cup in the garbage– he handed me a new cup.
??? Wow. I am in the food service business and I know that if the dispensers are not cleaned and soaked every night– bugs make home in there and that is exactly what happened. The black dispenser nozzles as well as the whole back panel were sticky and dirty like they have not been removed for months. Once I noticed this– I started looking around and this place must be violating a dozen health code violations. The sauce/​condiment tray was dirty and sticky as well. The food was very overcooked and just horrible. I threw it away. Really really unsanitary and disgusting.

Food is really good! And the family working there is really nice!

This is my first time giving 1 star, and I am not even feeling bad.
Came here when I was starving before the last Batman movie première. Waited for AN HOUR with several other annoyed customers. It is a couple running the place, and both people seem incompetent and confused about how to cook. They are inefficient, slow, and spend most of the time yelling at each other in some other language.
So basically… I waited an hour for them to microwave some unappetizing soup costing $ 6. Pretty sure the plastic wasn’t supposed to be microwaved…
I lost my appetite from being so pissed off that I didn’t even eat it.
At least the movie brought up my mood.

Bad food!!! Zero star. I have never been so pissed by any food service so many years. This is the first time I’m so pissed. DO NOT COME HERE! You have been warned! And why the xxxx I can’t leave a zero star? Unilocal you better do so something about this!

Stopped by Monday night to get some food. Pictures looked appetizing so I thought I would give it a try.
Ordered chicken wings. The guy at the counter kept wanting me to leave while he is making the food — not a good sign.
3 minutes in the microwave and 1 minute on the grill. Your chicken wings are ready.
They looked terrible. When were they cooked– by the look of them not recently. They were basically boiled chicken wings. I decided not to risk eating this.
I just left the chicken there for the owner. I wish I had read Unilocal reviews before stopping here

This place is so dirty. The grill is caked on with geasy dirt. It really
makes my stomach hurt after everytime i eat it. As a vegan i ordered
the tofu veggie rice bowl and it had old shrimp on it from the last guys food.
I couldnt believe he didnt even wipe off the grill between orders. There counters
are really greasy and there sauces are spilled everyhere. The man is friendly
but god is this place dirty. The is black food all over the grill because it hasnt been cleaned.
I went back last night 1÷28÷12 just to see if it was any better, and might I say
maybe the FDA came through or something because it was way cleaner… The food still wasnt the best but it was way cleaner! Good job on that part.

I really don’t want to write this review. But in the spirit of being a TRUE BLUE UnilocalER I am going to.
I hesitate about writing this kind of review because Unilocal is too powerful of a tool. Unilocal can either make or break a biz. SO be mindful of my review and try the food and service yourselves.
FV and I decided to try this small biz since we figured we both want something that resembles a real meal where someone cooks the food for you.
This is the only food other than Burger King or Subway. We thought-​yay! Something smiliar to Sarku in Valley Fair!
Far from it! For starters we noticed after paying the guy handling the cash register was screaming at the guy cooking. How rude! The guy cooking does not seem to know what to do with his stuff. He kept on giving him instructions on where to put things and how to present the food. RED FLAG**
Our food was announced as cooked and ready for us. We picked it up and noticed that my rice was plain when I requested for fried rice. Company asked for brown rice and was given white rice too. The cashier said sorry and to give him a few minutes. Done!
We sat and we stared at a bowl of white rice slathered with Teriyaki Sauce. There were very few chicken and vegetables. DO NOT GET THE FRIED RICE or BROWN RICE. They’re both just covered with teriyaki sauce and masks themselves as BR or FR.
Our food wasn’t even warm. Was their stove not on?
I’m giving it TWO STARS because they’re a small biz trying to survive and maybe this will help them somehow.
Price! For two with sodas total was $ 16+. Worst food in a mall ever!
