Great Mexican food at good prices. Many Mexican restaurants are more dimly light even in daytime but this one is well lit inside.(Good cost savings on flipping the restaurant from its originally intended purpose as a department store is my guess) There are smoking vs. non-smoking sections last I remember and they serve beer. There is actually $ 332 ounce Bud Light last I checked. I certainly like the booth style setup although it is pretty open in the middle. For the middle tables, some dividers from the ceiling or floor to give it a personal feel(less cafeteria-style) might be nice but it’s a small town atmosphere where people certainly enjoy seeing one another and catching up. Great place for lunch or dinner any day of the week!

El Paricutin is a Mexican restaurant located within a strip mall. You’d almost miss it. Don’t let the location fool you — it’s a hidden gem in a small Kentucky town. … with DELICIOUS raspberry margaritas! Sooooo good. Inside, the restaurant opens to a large dining space with splashes of color. A little bar sits off to the side. The menu bosts many traditional mexican dishes at reasonable prices and huge portions. You can dine in or order your food to go(which is what we did). As usual with Mexican food, the vegetarian selections are pretty limited, but I ordered a veggie quesadilla. It wasn’t that impressive, but my ‘aunt’ had a spinach quesadilla, which was amazing. The men in our dinner party were impressed(and stuffed) with their meals, as well. At this moment, I don’t think there’s anywhere else to get Mexican food in this town. Thankfully, this one is good! We’ll be back again(and I’ll get the spinach quesadilla).
