Royal Cleaners

I don’t expect my clothes to smell like roses when I get them dry cleaned because I understand dry cleaning uses chemicals, but I’ve had two separate occasions where the clothes that I’ve received back smell disgusting like awful rank body odor. The first time I took the sweater that smelled bad back, and the female owner smelled it and thought there was nothing wrong and that was how it should have smelled. I told her that it needed to be cleaned again and she begrudgingly took the sweater. The sweater smelled fine when I received it back. The second time was months later and it was a dress I took. I keep wondering who around me smelled like B.O. only to realize it was the dress I was wearing. I’m not sure what their process it in cleaning their clothes but the fact that when they are «cleaned» they smell worse than before means there’s something wrong. Yes, they are cheap, but it’s not worth it.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now. Have always been satisfied. The people who work there are always friendly and helpful. Their prices beat out other cleaners I’ve been to. Jackets are 3.50 a piece. They cleaned a pair of my heels that got really roughed up at a club event and they looked brand new again (and they were suede!)
