Waterford Place at Riata Ranch

Loved the look of the pool and lots of parking. Noise was never an issue. At one point for about 6months –1year they were short staffed on maintenance (which I hold only against office manager, not the guys). When Mike and Gary were running this place there was no riffraff. But since the new company took over and Mike disappeared (along with Gary) it went downhill from there. A huge change of scenery. Gym equipment was always broken (never fixed, just removed) and weights stolen. And kelly in the office was rude and another new girl as well. Rent kept going up and up. Last summer 2015 pool was green for half the summer! I lived here for 3 years moved September 2015
To bad, we use to love it before the assholes took over the office now it looks like a section 8 convention.

I brought some prospective client’s looking for an apartment. The website said that the leasing office was open until 6pm on Wednesday, so we decided to stop in at 3:30 pm. We approached the doors and saw that a sign indicated the person would return at 3:45pm. So we waited until 345pm, then 4pm and then decided we could come back after viewinganother close by. Most apartments usually have at least two people in the office so tours may be given to client’s.
Well, we returned from our other viewing at 4:30pm to find the door stated the person would return at 5pm. It is a bit weird that the sales office keeps closing for 30 minutes at a time, so we walk around and noticed people were entering the clubhouse from the pool.
We go to the front and knock on the door and lone-​behold the sales person was in there the entire time. Her excuse, «I was on a conference call with corporate.»
Conference calls are planned ahead of time. My suggestion, would be to plan to have somebody there who can fill in while you are on a conference call.

PROS: Nice apartments and enough parking spots
CONS: Maintenance takes forever to get a job done, Office staff is careless and while living here they kept changing their employees and managers. In addition, they try to charge you for anything.
I honestly, couldn’t wait to move out of here. I do not recommend these apartments.

I lived here for a year back in 2009-​10.
Pros: The apartment units are very modern with very high ceilings. There is a park right around the corner that has a lot of trails for walking or running.
Cons: There were a lot of thefts that occurred while I lived there. Someone stole my iPod from under my car’s center console. There were several instances of cars having their tires stolen and put up on cinder blocks. Someone even stole the TV out of the fitness center and managed to rip a huge hole in the wall in the process. On top of all that, the rent was a lot higher than some of the other places in the same vicinity.
