Zaxby’s

Fairly typical of this chain.
Minimal wait to order and food preparation.
One plus is they offered to substitute for the slaw my son never eats with his order.
This seems to only occur at some locations.

Seems they are now serving shrimp sized chicken strips. See photo posted in pictures.

Well my first time here was really good. But i came here last week with my boyfriend and his chicken fingers werent even warm so he had to get them to remake them. We came here again tonight. Fyi dont get the new spicy honey bbq sauce they are advertising. Its not that good. I got boneless wings with the new sauce. The wings were so small and looked super crunchy. Well i ate one and it was so hard it hurt to chew it. Well i asked them to remake it. And they looked a lil different. But when i ate it, it wasnt any different. And i have had the boneless wings at lots of zaxbys. They never looked like this. I just ate it cause i was tired and hungry. Side note my boyfriends chicken fingers with sauce were good. I dont think i will be gettin boneless wings for awhile

Good Food. I went here and my grilled cheese was very good. The best was the fries. They were seasoned well and tasted delicious. Next time I go to GA or a diffrent state that has this, I hope I get this order.
*They also give you fruit snacks with the grilled cheese.

I love Zaxby’s everywhere we go but this location has gone downhill big time. Each time we come my daughter watches everyone before her taken care of and she waits. It’s a simple chicken sandwich & many tines her same sandwich is given to another person. Our last trip they gave her no honey mustard sauce & after waiting 15 min she took what she got and left. When we got home it was too late to go back.
The fries are the best part of Zaxby’s…this location has yet to put seasoning on their fries. We usually wind up throwing salt on it at home.
Save yourself the frustration & go to a different location!

Food was delicious. Service however, was terrible. 3 out of 4 meals were wrong, and the large order of fried pickles was minuscule at about 17 pickles. It took a while to get our meals, and to have them wrong was disappointing.

When I ate at a Zaxby’s for the first time several years ago, a friend of mine had told me that he liked their chicken wings. So I had taken his word for it and tried the wings, but didn’t think they were a big deal. Once I discovered their Chicken Finger Sandwich with Zax sauce, I never ordered their wings again.
This particular Zaxby’s is a little out of the way but the closest one to my house, so naturally I come here most often. It’s also a plus that this one offers various specials on «Zaxby’s Dayz»:
— Wednesday is Zax Kidz Day — «99 cent Zax Kidz Meals with adult meal purchase.»
— Thursday is Nibbler Day — «99 cent Nibblerz all day.»
— Sunday is Bulletin Day — «Bring your bulletin in for 10% off your entire order.»
I’ve only taken advantage of Sunday’s «Bulletin Day,» when you can bring your church (or other religious organization’s) bulletin and hand it to the cashier when you’re ordering to get 10% off the total before tax. Apparently not all Zaxby’s restaurants have «Zaxby’s Dayz,» so be sure to ask about it when you go to your favorite Zaxby’s restaurant.
I always order the same thing at Zaxby’s — the Chicken Finger Sandwich meal with the Zax sauce on the side and NOT in the sandwich. This way, you get more sauce for no additional charge since it costs extra (I believe 50 cents each) for Zax sauce, UNLESS you ask for it on the side and the chicken fingers in the sandwich are not served covered with sauce.
* Chicken Finger Sandwich Meal ($ 5.29) — Depending on the location, this meal can cost more or less than $ 5. I’ve seen some locations charge $ 4.99, but perhaps the costs have gone up due to inflation. The meal deal comes with a 22 oz. drink and crinkle fries. Sometimes, they will give you a LOT of fries, and sometimes they don’t give you much. But I like the seasoning on the crinkle fries, which tastes even better dipped in Zax sauce. The Chicken Finger Sandwich itself is always served hot and delicious, but I have to give a lot of credit to the Zax sauce. The unique flavors of their signature sauce, which looks like Thousand Island dressing, is definitely my favorite thing about Zaxby’s.
Overall, this Zaxby’s gets 4 stars for their *usually* fast and friendly service, great food, and their special Zaxby’s Dayz during the week. I have gone in on a few occasions when the restaurant was PACKED on Sundays and the wait for my food was probably over 30 minutes. However, it usually isn’t that bad. And in this economy, I love getting 10% off just for bringing in my church bulletin. (*NOTE — They will actually take it from you, so grab an extra one if you usually like to keep yours.)

SInce my last review– the manager of this location addressed my concerns (I filled out an online form) and is buying me lunch on my next visit. He said he printed out my email and posted it up front as a reminder to the workers to be more careful. :)

Seems like every zaxby’s I go to, I do have issues with the order process. I went in, hoping it’d be a quick process but there were a group of girls ordering all kinds of food. There was another cashier just standing behind the counter, and took a couple minutes before she’d even get to her register. Absolutely, you can’t blame them for the amount of customers, but when you have a free person just standing there, help out!
As for this particular store, it looks fairly new, very clean and worth sitting down to eat if you like this food. What else can I say about zaxbys?

It’s a Zaxby’s!
The place is generally clean enough to sit, but dirty enough to wipe your table. The 5 second rule might need to be reduced. The place is dark but does have TV’s and is generally pretty busy during lunch hour. It’s quiet enough to have a light-​business meeting lunch, but not clean enough for that to fill totally appropriate either.
Otherwise, it’s Zaxby’s so you know what you are getting food wise.
