Great place to visit to try something different. I have only been once, but my beverage was pretty good. The atmosphere seemed peaceful and a nice place for the locals to get their morning coffee. The baristas seemed extremely nice and knowledgeable.

Back again now that my office is close and still great coffee, friendly service, and nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend over any of the chain coffee houses.

GREAT coffee. Really sweet cashier and barista, who took the time to walk me through my order and make sure I was well-taken care of. Their bagels and chicken salad are to die for. The chicken salad could easily set me back 10 pounds if I let it! The coffee was hot and perky, just how I like it. I would give this place 5 stars if it didn’t take so long. I was the only person in the café, and it still took almost 15 minutes for my cup of joe. Yes, it was a latte, but mine was the only one being made at the time. Either way, I will be back when I have more time!

First Impression Review. I had a Americano and a Poppy Seed Coffee Cake and they were good. The server was very friendly and helpful. I’m planning on coming back to try other stuff. I’m happy to give my business to a local coffee shop and hope to keep coming back.

Four stars for the super friendly baristas, location next to white rock, and great drink options! I believe they roast Noble Coyote. I ordered the Mexican, which had espresso, dark chocolate, some spices. Unfortunately, the shop has the worst hours. I go to work all day so I will never be able to drink coffee here on a weekday. Make sure you check the hours before you drive there!

I am always excited to see new and different coffee shops. I was encouraged when walking in and being greeted pleasantly. The point where the transaction went wrong was the girl did not know how to use the cash register. A simple swipe of the my credit card was something she could not get to work. Once she did charge me I was charged $ 5.20 for a drink that should have been $ 2. When her manager came back he gave me a dollar back saying sorry I was over charged, that would make the drink $ 4.20. This would have been great if it were a good quality espresso beverage. The drink tasted like a QT mini mart cup of coffee. Poor service all the way around.

So I was bored at work and craving coffee. Wanted to try something out of my normal Starbucks so I stumbled upon this place from my Unilocal searches. 1st, it’s kind of located in a weird place. It’s on the end of a strip mall. It just seemed out of place because no other food places were nearby. That being said, parking sucks. 2nd, I ordered the mocha coffee and the cranberry orange scone. Coffee was great, kept me awake! Scone was okay. For some reason it kind of tasted like a doughnut. Eh, I don’t plan on ever ordering it again. I plan on going back to try the Cuban since I keep seeing good reviews about it.

Easy to miss, but don’t miss it. I drove by this strip on the corner of Royal and Greenville for several years before really noticing that there was a coffee shop down the end. Since the first time I dropped in and gave it a try, I’ve been a big fan. They utilize locally-roasted coffee and make their product very well. Their cortado is my favorite, but they also make a great shot of espresso. The coffee has a smooth, balanced flavor. Service is great, but they do take a little more time on each cup. If you’re in a hurry, you might be frustrated by the pace, but I like to enjoy my cup, so I don’t stop if I’m in a rush. The décor is not trendy, but the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, with the floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over a running trail and golf course.

5 Stars for the coffee, the service, and the food. The only reason this is four stars is because it is a small parking lot shared by numerous other businesses, and there is no street parking nearby so if you cannot find a spot, you will probably have to come back another day. With that said this is such a hidden gem. While I usually order pour over or americano – and I would be even more inclined to do so because the serve noble coyote my favorite coffee beans in Dallas, previous reviews convinced me to branch out and try the Cuban espresso. They absolutely nailed this drink – it was the sweet that coffee is supposed to be. It blended perfectly with the coffee, and I could actually still taste the coffee over the sugar. It might be one of the first drinks I have tasted where I felt like the sugar was meant to be there to compliment, and not cover up the coffee. I had their orange cranberry scone, it was the perfect mix of sweet and salty. It had tons of cranberries in it and a glaze on top that was not too sweet. They offered me water with my drink and refilled the waters for everyone in the shop every once in a while. The barista was happy to tell me what pastry she recommended and seemed happy to be there. The owner was in and out throughout the morning, something about this place you can just tell it is his pride and joy. He knew so many of the customers by name, was getting their updates on life and seemed so excited to see each one of them. The have about 10 tables inside, and it appeared that they had a back patio with seating as well. There was also a couch for seating. The place is not trendy or decorated to the 9’s but it has a bit of cuban flare that makes it feel like a mom and pop place built with love. The cuban music in the background played softly and was a nice change in pace.

I’m not exactly sure why this place is rated so high, their coffee was… okay for the first couple of sips and then it was just… a no. Service however was very good, the girls that were working there were friendly with very laid back relaxed vibes so I did appreciate that. Locations… yikes! There’s a crematorium next door… Hyped for what it was, there are many local coffee shops around Dallas that are just so much better.

Décor: 3.5÷5 –A bit limited in seating but overall a mellow and quiet place –There is a small outdoor seating for two on the balcony Service: 3.5÷5 –standard service, overall friendly Food: 3.5÷5 –The breakfast panini has some serious heat! I also have low heat tolerance but Serrano peppers are no joke! Overall not bad. –Didn’t get a chance to try their bakery cause it was sold out. Next time!

Pretty good pastries, but not stupendous. The Chai is a no… They use the same mix as Starbucks(the Tazo mix you can buy at store) and it was more expensive for a worse Chai latte. The Mocha was alright, but tasted more like chocolate milk than a mocha. It was right next to a crematory, so it had an interesting location needless to say… Overall, it was alright, but it is way too hyped up, and for the price I’d much rather go to one of the many other coffee shops in Dallas.

I had passed by Café Silva dozens of times as I ran or bicycled on the White Rock Creek Trail. Since its next door neighbor is a business front for cremation services, it didn’t seem like the best place to have a coffee shop, and therefore didn’t inspire confidence. Well, you know what they say about judging a book by its cover, right? I was dead wrong. If Silva doesn’t serve the best coffee in DFW, then they’re in the top 5, if not the top 3. I stopped in for the first time just yesterday. The first time was in the middle of my morning run. I walked in, promptly received greetings from the smiling, friendly staff, ordered a small cappuccino, sprinkled their house«Café Silva Spice» on top, and sat down to enjoy the view of the trail, country club, and soccer fields. The coffee itself was phenomenal. I’m convinced the spice – which is very subtle, almost a whisper – has medicinal properties. I finished my drink, restarted my run, and had twice as much energy. I went back a few hours later with a family member. She ordered a mocha, while I had their legendary Cuban coffee – which I didn’t know was legendary at the time – and ordered a scone to split. The Cuban deserves its reputation. I haven’t had Cuban coffee this wonderful since I left Florida. The chocolate chip scone was heavenly: not too light, not too heavy. It is a perfect match for the Cuban. The prices for small drinks – which are hardly small – are perfect: about $ 3 – 4 for most. I’m coming back. I’m going to find excuses to run or bike down here more often just to have coffee. And I will recommend it to friends.

The turkey egg Serrano panini was quite tasty(pardon the lack of a photo as I ate it before it crossed my mind to play paparazzi with my food). The oatmeal options are varied. I tasted the dark chocolate berry oatmeal… yummers! If you’re on the trail you should pop in. He let us park our bikes near the entrance. It’s a quaint spot so a few bikes can make it in. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious. This coffee house is one of the best in DFW. They have wonderful customer service with greeting you when you first walk in. They were extremely helpful with choices on the menu. Delivered drink and food to my table. Of course I ordered the legendary scone & Cuban Expresso combo. I was not let down as the expresso was nice and frothy. The Orange Cranberry Scone is to DIE for! It is the right amount of sweet and crumbly. So moist! The environment is very chill. With Latin jazz music in the background you can sit back and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with friends on the couch lounge area or the wooden tables they have. Although not good for groups it’s adequately big for a coffee shop. Very clean, I would definitely come back!

I just happen to stumble onto this place because so many other(non-Starbucks) coffee shops are closed on a Monday morning(odd, right?) This coffee shop is pretty basic, casual environment with quite a few tables. They have some specialty coffee with a cuban theme that sounded pretty good but I just wanted a basic cortado that morning. The cortado came out in a large mug, which is much bigger than the other ones I’m use to. It was more bitter than I have had at other coffee shops. Next time, I’m going to opt for the Cuban, which is a cortado with sugar. The«BKST» panini was actually pretty good. Great little snack with serrano peppers in it to give it just a hint of heat but lots of flavor. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something to munch on with your coffee.

Café Silva is a hidden gem! The coffee is great, the pastries are home-made and unbelievably good and the customer service is maybe the best in Dallas. I recommend the Cuban Espresso and the orange scone. I have been to almost every coffee shop in Dallas but this one is special. The thing that makes this place so unique and special is that the guy who owns the place literally runs the place. He makes sure each customer is happy. The last three times I have been there I have left happier than when I entered because Masoom, the owner, truly cares about his customers. If you are a coffee fan do yourself a favor and take a break at Café Silva!

Great local coffee spot. Came with a friend on a Friday morning. The ship was pretty crowded but we found a place to sit on the small patio in the back. Was a great place to sit, enjoy some coffee, take in the outdoors, and get some work done. The patio only seats two but the view of the park and golf course was very relaxing. I got the large cappaciuno and it was HUGE! I felt like my biceps got a good workout raising that cup to my mouth! The dribk itself was delicious and the foam was well done. It could have had a little more foam but all in all it was a great cup. My friend got the chai and he said it was good as well. The shop itself was very clean and the bathroom was well kept as well. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Café Silva is the hidden gem coffeehouse of Dallas. With their delicious handcrafted coffee to their homemade scones, I was in coffeehouse heaven! I asked for a recommendation for coffee and a sweet treat and was advised to try the Cuban Espresso and the homemade orange cranberry scone. While I am not a scone person, this batch was still warm so I decided to give it a try. Oh my god. It was delicious. Most scones are too dry for me, but this was perfect. In fact, I am planning and plotting my next visit to try another one. The owner said his wife makes them. The Cuban Espresso was delicious as well. Not too sweet and just enough strength. The café is located on greenville and royal lane. It is tucked in a small shopping center and overlooks white rock trail. Parking is limited and it is not something that pops out with its location. But don’t be fooled, Café Silva should not be missed. With free WiFi, down-to-earth owners, and good coffee, this is shaping up to be my new study spot.
