The food was very average to poor, the portions tiny, terrible value. The Caesar salad was terrible, the pulled pork looked like it should be on the kids menu, and the signature«gobbler» was just an $ 8+ turkey sandwich. First time at Corner Bakery, and last time.

**UPDATE** Contacted corporate to inform them of this terrrrrible location, which is pretty clear after the bombardment of less than stellar reviews as of late. Haven’t heard from them and it’s been well over a week. Quite frankly, it seems they really just don’t care if their name is being dragged through the mud by crappy franchises. I don’t usually like to dwell on things but this place just irks me beyond belief. — Came here today after last minute christmas shopping with the family to scoop up a panini from CB. Biggest mistake of my life thus far. My sister ordered«The Gobbler,» their thanksgiving sandwich after she saw the photo of it. It’s advertised as having turkey, stuffing, mixed greens and a cranberry mayo on wheat bread. upon doing a once over on her sorry ass looking sandwich, we found absolutely no stuffing. Came back in to see what was going on and were told«oh we ran out of stuffing.» So. by omission it’s okay to just pass off a sandwich as whole since it’s a to go order? Not a chance. They offered to exchange the sandwich for something else. I ordered a Chicken Pomodoro for myself and my mom, which is a staple on their menu and inexcusable if it were lacking. Surprise surprise. It was. My sandwich was burnt and contained one tiny sliver of chicken. The other sandwich was just as pitiful. Both should have been considered a flat bread given how little of anything was in it. Now, I don’t imagine it’s very difficult to make a panini here, since it’s literally just an assembly line and then on to the panini press it goes, but for some reason no one here seems to know how. I’m honestly not sure who hired the incompetent staff at this specific location but I’m genuinely surprised anyone even comes to this location anymore. The place was extremely dirty looking, with trash all over the place. I really don’t find it excusable to use the«it’s the holidays» excuse here since. you should know to staff more people. This branch is completely dishonest in the way they run their business by essentially giving you 85% of your sandwich and failing to inform you that they’re incapable of fulfilling your order correct. Maybe they should spend less time goofing off in the kitchen and taking their job more seriously. This location just aggravates me beyond reason.

This review is based on my first visit to Corner Bakery Café at North Park Mall in Dallas, TX on Sunday December 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. This is the worst Corner Bakery Café I’ve been to for the following reasons: 1. The seating area(booths especially) is dirty. 2. Two coffee urns were out. Neither refilled during my time there even though I requested. 3. Order taking understaffed for Sunday brunch. 4. My order was unappealing: warm/cold scrambled eggs, greasy under-cooked bacon, wrinkled pancakes. 5. Server forgot to bring butter. 6. No one came by to ask if we were enjoying our meals(they do it at other Corner Bakeries) A friend suggested we try this one because its normally not crowded on Sundays. Now we know why. I will NEVER revisit this Corner Bakery Café again.

My first time at a Corner Bakery Café, and I found it to be «okay.» While I understand that its in one of Dallas’s more upscale and trendier malls(Northpark) with exceptionally consumer traffic, my expectations of the service and food weren’t exceeded on this visit. Customer service is fine with the cashiers. I certainly appreciated the staff for offering the scan option with my cell phone in order to earn points for rewards(earned a free flat bread with my very first purchase). Prior to choosing my order, I had not known about this. For today’s meal, I had a café size portion of chicken pesto cavatappi with bread, which was reasonably priced at $ 7.89. When it came to waiting for the food, this was another story. Its clear to me that Corner Bakery Café models some of its business after Panera Bread. While Panera Bread has a reasonable wait time for its entrees on any given day, I think that 30 minutes for a half-sized bowl of pasta was a bit excessive. Further, the table wasn’t bussed until 15 minutes AFTER we had been seated. This seemed to have been a recurring theme at several other tables. **Sigh** Thank goodness that the pasta was palatable with its taste. Altogether, my first impression of my first visit here was that it was just okay. It certainly could be better, yet I’m grateful that it wasn’t a complete disaster of a dining experience.

I love Corner Bakery but this location in particular(North Park Mall, Dallas) wasn’t the best experience. I’ve ordered the same thing on the menu for the past year so I know how it’s supposed to be. I ordered their Mac & Cheese and after being asked if I wanted tomatoes and bacon added on, I said no, but when they delivered the food it had bacon and tomatoes. I sent it back saying I didn’t want the bacon or tomatoes and about 10 minutes later the guy came back with the Mac & Cheese… this time with no bread crumbs, just noodles. If I had wanted plain macaroni I would have made it at home. Their Macaroni is usually very good but this location is not one I’ll be eating at again.

I really liked this place when I used to work at NorthPark. I used to come here during my lunch breaks with my coworkers. Just because this restaurant is at a mall, it hasn’t made the quality any worse than restaurants outside of the mall. The quality is just as good, the food is fairly quick, and the service here is great. I have seen the same people that have been serving me and been working behind the register frequently. Each time they have been friendly and helpful. They also have personality – they know how to joke with their customers. I used to go to La Madeleine for their desserts/pastries, but I stopped going because of Corner Bakery’s Bundt Cake. Yes, La Madeleine has more variety but Corner Bakery’s pastries tastes fresher, more moist, and(depending on what you get) chocolat-ier. I don’t regret trying their pastries. Thanks to them, my cravings for sweets are over.

I frequent this spot on my lunch break as I work in Northpark Center. The location is great, and if you catch it at the right time, it’s a nice escape from the busy mall. It can get every crowded at peak times. Tip: If you’re trying to eat here at noon on a Saturday, use their online ordering option to get your meal faster! The food is a bit overpriced for the value in my opinion, but it’s on par with competitors such as La Madeline and Panera. I ordered the pasta/salad combo with Mac & Cheese(with bacon and tomatoes — a MUST!) and a Cesar salad. The Mac a cheese was super great, as per usual, and the Cesar salad was ok, nothing to rave about. The staff has always been pleasant and the manager comes to my table nearly every time I’m there to check in.

Like the Asian salad dressing. But the kids meal portion is too small, it was like for under 2 year olds, not reasonable for age 3 – 7 year olds. Cannot return since they don’t have decent kids menu.

I love Corner Bakery, but was so upset about my experience this morning. I ordered a breakfast panini and potatoes, and it took almost 20 minutes to get my to go order. The restaurant was not busy. As I was handed my order I was told that they had run out of potatoes. I was told that I could have fruit and that was«all they could offer me.» I paid for potatoes and not fruit. Finally, I sat down in my car and my sandwich was not wrapped in foil. It had just been thrown in the bag and now I can’t even eat it. Very upset with this location.

Met a friend here out of convenience. It was ok. The tables and booth seats were still dirty when I got there and I tried to wipe them down. The coffee was so so. My friend got a breakfast panini and it looked tiny. I got oatmeal, which was huge, and came with a sugared biscotti. The baked goods looked tasty but I didn’t try any. I would return for baked goods and a drink.

The experience here was very bad! The food was ok, albeit overpriced. I found a bug in my soup and attempted to show it to the cashier who instead stirred the soup(thus the bug!) and insisted that I was lying but she’d give me another one(because I could both rest assured that it was a different one and that this time there’d be no bug). Then when the cashier was on her break she and her co-workers were making fun of my party and the ordeal. Not going back.

A great experience, they made a special pasta dish for our grandson and even made sure his fruit had more strawberries and grapes, instead of the melons he doesn’t like. Very friendly and accommodating. Thank you!

I come for lunch and dinner frequently but this was my first time trying their breakfast and it was delicious. I got the chicken apple sausage panini with potatoes on the side and it was a very good price. The panini about $ 5 and $ 1 extra for the potatoes. The chicken apple sausage was a bit spicy and sweet with apple all in one with scrambled eggs and the bread pressed nicely. The potatoes were not like hash browns but cut in chunks. Ample seating and a large«patio» area but being inside northpark mall you are basically sitting in the walkway. Overall I would come for the breakfast again.

Make sure you specify which ham and swiss panini you want, since there’s two different ones on the menu. Ugh.

Got our order wrong. The table/booths I wanted to sit at were all unattended and dirty — no buser in sight. The food is meh but my eyes got the best of me when I saw the lemon square… Too bad it wasn’t as good as I expected. I’m a lover of all things tart but this was WAAAY too tart. To the point where my throat hurt after a few bites. Pretty sure I destroyed some of my taste buds during lunch :-(even as a last resort, go somewhere else. Oh and if you ask for iced coffee, they make you make it yourself.

Gonna have to say that I would prefer to come here for breakfast rather than lunch. The sandwich that I had from here was a turkey pretzel sandwich. It was a pretty sad sandwich I must say, there was nothing on it, not even a piece of lettuce. It was basically just sliced turkey and a piece of cheese inbetween the pretzel bun and some potato chips for $ 7. I had high hopes for this sandwich, but was quite disappointed but ate it anyways because I was hungry. I will stick to breakfast only from this location unless I try another type of sandwich.

Food snobs, don’t rule out chains altogether. During my normal work week when I’m not out playing wanna-be Andrew Zimmern looking for Bizarre Foods, I keep it simple. I try to watch what I eat for the most part, and don’t want to go anywhere too extreme(eating rabbit food on one hand, and eating fast food crap on the other). Thus, somewhere in the middle I opt for a safe soup, salad, sandwhich, and pasta place. You can get your fix of flavor, fat, greens, and freshness when you come to any Corner Bakery. I frequent the Las Colinas location most since it’s closest to my home and workplace. I have always been pleased with everything I order. Lunch is usually some sort of combo, whether it be soup and salad, sandwhich and soup, etc. etc. The salads are perfectly dressed, never swimming in a vat of fat. All the ingredients are chopped finely so you’ll get a perfect bite of everything(like just the right amount of bacon bits and blue cheese in their chopped salad, and tortilla strips and finely minced red onion in the Sante Fe Ranch salad). Sandwhiches are great. My favorite is the Poblano Fresco, where you can choose your meat(chicken or roast beef) and they top it with chipotle mayo and crisp jicama. The soups are delicious on a cold day. The three lentil vegetable and roasted poblano corn chowder are hearty, satisfying soups that won’t weigh you down. Of course you can always get the cream based soups like the loaded backed potato or broccoli cheddar soup. Very good. I also love their coffee. Sometimes I just go there for my fix of Vanilla Hazlenut. There is free wi-fi in most locations so it’s a great place to get some work done too. This is a great place to go to when you want to feel satiated and not grossly stuffed. I’m a fan.

Every time I go to Northpark Mall I run across Corner Bakery Café filled with people enjoying their food, friends, and talking probably about their most recent shopping expedition. The other day I found myself extremely hungry so I decided to stop by here. I ordered a Green Chili & Chicken Panini since I love chili peppers so much along with a Chicken Noodle soup. The Panini was extremely oily and unhealthy in my opinion. And for the price I paid I rather be at Corner Market in Greenville eating something better. However, I was glad I did try this place as the Chicken Noodle soup was not bad at all and it was served really hot. It made my soar throat feel better. With me feeling better along with my hunger vanished, we resumed our hunt for some clothes in the mall :)

Ok so I normally LOVE Corner Bakery. Love me some panini’s and soup! BUT, they seriously failed when catering my office. There was a box of nicely made sandwiches. All kinds of assortments. My ham and cheese on pretzel bread was great! Had a mini chocolate muffin that was good, and some salad. I say some salad because they sent with our group VERY little salad dressing. So little that probably half of our group got nothing. That’s right. Nothing! Apparently we had chips with our order and they failed to bring it. Needless to say, there were some hungry people when all was said and done. CB, before sending food to an office, check it first!!! Really, there were some really annoyed people saying they wouldn’t go back to CB. Not good business!

Can’t go wrong with a soup and /or salad for lunch from Corner Bakery. I’m almost starting to like this place better than another bakery joint that starts with a P and ends with an A. Plus, the soups are ALL homemade, so you don’t have the preservatives and artificial junk added. Favorites: Chicken Tortilla Soup or Lentil — both delicious here. I also love their Turkey Frisco sandwich on Asiago Cheese Bread. Took my mother in law and nephew there for lunch and they both enjoyed it as well! Little slow on service.
