Have been waiting for my food for 40 mins. The hall is not even packed. I don’t know how this happens.

I think it’s perfectly reasonable to expect a simple breakfast containing nothing more complicated than a vegetable omelet for two adults and a(well behaved) two-year-old to be prepared in 25 minutes when there are about 4 – 5 occupied tables and more than that number of wait staff on hand. Apparently, it isn’t here. It’s great having to take your still hungry child and pregnant self to a doctor appointment on empty stomachs. We won’t be coming here again.

This place used to be the hang out for me and my buddies but the wait staff has gotten worse and worse. Tonight when we went in for lunch, the waiter sat us at ghe table in the corner like we requested however he proceeded to seat two completely drunk people right next to us even tho 90% of the restaurant was empty. The drunks were not inly loud and rude but they puked all over the table next to us while we were eating. Of course we didnt want to eat anymore after that and you would think ghe server would either discount the bill or at least appologize for what happened, but when our check came it was full price! Completely unacceptable! We will never return to this location to dine again.

Walked into a full waiting area and an empty dining room. This is not a good sign. A waiter came and seated us, and then I heard a manager chew him out for working tables in other people’s sections. Um, excuse me, Bitchy McCranky, but your customers would like service and they’re not really concerned about who is waiting on them. This used to be on our late-night«need a snack» list, but I’m very concerned. My wife’s order was wrong. It’s eggs and pancakes, people. It’s not rocket science. Apparently, we were given the wrong menu. Oy vey. Late-night customers deserve less bacon? So, my wife ordered a bacon & egg breakfast and was charged for Quick 2 egg breakfast. That may explain the difference between expectation and delivery. Here’s a pet peeve of mine: if someone asks for red potatoes, they probably don’t also want hash browns. My wife always ends up with more potatoes than I, and I’m the Irish one. Our waiter did say it had not been a good day for IHOP. I would have to agree. The pancakes are still tasty, though. Damn you, addictive flour discs!

I’ve never had a bad experience at iHop and I didn’t think this one would be any different, but boy was I wrong. It took them forever to seat us when they weren’t even busy they just didn’t have a hostess or anyone paying attention to the front. All of the tables were dirty and the were never cleared. We sat down and ordered immediately but it still took almost an hour for us to get our food. We both got the short stack pancakes and sausage. The pancakes were smaller than normal and they tasted dirty, as did the sausage. Then it took the waiter another 20 minutes to get us our check. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will not come back.

Our server last night, Andrew, provided horrible, horrible service. After he seated us, he came back about 5 minutes later to ask what we wanted to drink, mind you, there was only one other table in the restaurant at this time. After he took the order, we sat and watched our food sit in the kitchen for almost 10 minutes. The cook proceeded to find our server sitting in the back area eating and called him out letting him know our food was waiting. After bringing the food to the table, of course it had started to get cold and I asked for a new order of hash browns that would be hot. After brining a new order out, Andrew never stopped back by to check on anything other than to bring the check. Our drinks sat empty through the entire meal, but at that point, why ask. Our table was obviously not a concern to him or the manager on duty at the time. I’m not one to usually email/do surveys for these sorts of things but the service we received tonight was absolutely ridiculous, especially being one out of the two tables in the restaurant while we were eating. By the time we left, they’re were about 6 – 7 tables. I’m also never one to leave a bad tip, but it makes it really hard to tip a server for such poor, poor service. The food itself was good, minus it being cold, but once we got it back, everything was good so props to the cook for looking out!

Not very good. The eggs on the eggs benedict were over cooked(basically hard boiled), and everything was cold. The service was just okay.

This is how we received our pancakes. They were stale and it looked like someone had returned them as they had a big part missing. The sausage was all stale and burnt, seemed like it was days old. Service was horrible our waitress seemed spaced out and clueless.

Sitting here for 10 minutes and no one has come over to take our order or bring us water yet. Service is beyond terrible. Food is meh. Not recommended for both hang out and even killing times.

While looking at the restaurant full of dirty tables we read the other reviews of THISIHOP and figured that we would be better off somewhere else. The place has no one to greet you and no one to keep the place clean. Nasty, don’t go there.

We came here on a very busy Sunday afternoon but our wait wasn’t too long to get seated. I ordered the strawberry crepes and my friend had the breakfast sampler. Everything was good. The only weird thing was the three dollar a glass orange juice; that’s a bit pricey. This is a good location and I’d return.

When looking for breakfast grub, Dallas has no shortage of diners and dives. But, sometimes, ya just need a stack of pancakes and coffee from IHOP. Cruising around on a Friday morning, my hubs and I stopped into IHOP for some classic breakfast. I drive by this location all the time but we’ve never eaten here. I was so surprised to see that the décor was fresh and clean and the place was packed! Their menu has received a refresh since the last time I was there and everything looked super appetizing. Great deals on adding your favorite side for those of us who have a hard time making decisions. Our server was great, super friendly and generous with our drink refills. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back the next time we get a hankering for some classic breakfast!

Everything was very good and exceeded our expectation. The restaurant itself was very clean and modern looking. Our server Brandy was very good. Attentive and friendly. We are new to Dallas and this was our first visit to a Texas IHOP. I thought everything tasted great and the service was good. Granted the food might not be as good as a fancy breakfast spot like Ellen’s southern, but for being in the IHOP/Denny’s category it was awesome. Coffee was good. Pancakes were great. We had the sirloin tips and eggs and mozzarella sticks. Both were delicious. I can’t understand why the bad reviews. I think maybe the reviews are old and the place has been remodeled since? Not sure but I found the place to be great.(Update) I just scanned through the pictures others posted and noticed that the place was recently remodeled. They got rid of the carpeting and put in nice wood looking floors. Carpets at restaurants are gross! I went in despite the bad reviews because it was my birthday month and I am in the pancake club(or whatever they call it) and had a coupon for a free rooty tooty. I don’t know that I would go here a Sunday morning and wait to eat or anything like that, but if you want good food middle of the night this is your spot.

This location is consistently average — ALWAYS dirty and humid inside; like Gulf air is being stored inside so that when you open the front doors you’re hit with a mildew carpet scent(that makes you lose your appetite) and a burst of hot air. My cold drink melts and sweats within 3 minutes of it being brought to me — happened today as it does every time. It was sitting in a pile of sweat when I went for my second sip. I ordered immediately upon being seated. I have an easy cheese omelette with has brows order, no big deal. My order was incorrect until the 3rd try. 1st try consisted of ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, pancake, and hash browns — I ordered a cheese omelette. Not kidding. Second round I had cheese hash browns. Was this not the simplest order of their Sunday? I cut into the omelette to this liquid. When I pushed a knife into it, bubbles came out. That much liquid. Soup. I stopped a manager to ask him if it was oil; he borderline made a scene. It was quite embarrassing. The gentleman seated next to me even unsolicitedly said so. I don’t want liquid + cooked eggs. Should I go apologize to him? He was rude about it. Did I upset the IHOP manager with MY wasted 40 minutes and I’m still hungry? He’s being paid to be at work; I’m wasting my Sunday afternoon trying to eat lunch. I’m so sorry, sir. I was super nice, waited for anyone to come back by my table because I wanted to pay for my drink and tip and make sure I was settled versus storming out or walking and not paying leaving the server to cover it. Sorry again, sir. Allow me to thank you for the great food and great service. Totally appreciate it. So glad I didn’t go to Café Brazil instead.

It’s too bad this place gets 2 stars from me. It used to be like a family tradition of Sundays going and getting your fav omelette or short stack. But last 2 times has now turned me off completely of returning here. The mgt and staff are oblivious to asking other tables around you with obnoxious brat children playing their iPads and music so loud that it can be heard 4 tables away to turn it down. If I wanted Maroon 5 or Taylor Swift stuck in my head I will play it in my car! Headphones a-hole! Use them. Plus the place smells like dirty mop water and the menus are sticky and nasty. IHOP we are over! Omg now the kid is playing Nickleback, dead.

If i could rate it lower, I would. Hands down the worst service I ever received. The staff was completely unprepared and unprofessional. It took two hours to receive food and our waitress dodged giving us an explanation as to why it was taking so long. The staff would rather laugh with each other than serve the customers. I normally give restaurants the benefit of the doubt but this is just terrible.

Based on a recent trip to this IHOP, we won’t be returning. 2 stars for the friendly and polite waitress. Everything else was not up to par. I don’t expect a great deal out of IHOP, but I do expect clean plates and silverware. Both of our plates were clearly dirty. If they actually were put through the dishwasher, their dish sanitation is very poor or its not working properly which is a big deal, especially at times like now with the flu epidemic. Plates were grimy and my plate with pancakes had steamed broccoli pieces on it. It kind of soured my entire experience. The back booth we were placed in also reeked of mildew, and there was food on the floor down the walkways. Our table was also not wiped down. Food was right on par with what it normally is at IHOP and again, our server was very nice and courteous, but the things above made it very difficult to enjoy our meal.
